Went through a lot of diary apps, this is the ONE! I'd have given 5 stars if it weren't for the following problems: 1, As you can see, there aren't really any answers here from the developers, you are pretty much alone with no support. 2, If you are not careful, and by mistake during writing highlight some stuff, with just one movement you can delete a lot and there is no 'undo/redo' or 'don't save' option - this would be crucial! 3, Export option is excellent, needs import, too! 4, Needs freque
Easy to use, has (if purchased) an export option. DO NOT bother to pay for the "no ads" option. I did, checked to be sure, and the distracting ads are STILL popping up at the bottom of the screen, as before. Want my refund on that, because it didn't give me what I paid for. Better yet, just fix it.
I have been using this app for a few years, and I'm happy about it. But, today, it keeps closing off when I open the app. It doesn't work even restarted my phone. I also uninstalled it and reinstalled it again. Had luck to open the app but all photos gone!! Then the app closed again. Problem still not solved! Please help! Used to be able to add a few photos at a time, but seemed not working, only 1 at a time~
this is a wonderful application! i found it to be very useful. but the major limitation i noticed is that i lost many typied enteries in attempts to copy/highlight or edit documents which couldn't be recovered. I suggest "undo/redo" and "don't save" options are made available to make reversal of actions possible to each entry before i give 5 star.
I used to really love this app and I'd have given it five stars two years ago. I saved some really beautiful memories on it in the past, then I lost my phone and got a new one. On the new phone I tried restoring the backups from my Dropbox, but discovered that I couldn't. I wish this problem could be fixed.
It was working well and I've used this for about 4 years. But now when I'm trying to restore my data that I had backed up into Google account, it is not letting me. It shows, "handy diary requires one or more Google play services that are not available, contact the developer for assistance". I sent an email regarding this but there's no response. Any help would be appreciated. Please
Have used this over 2 years now! It's the best! Has calendar, photo upload, lock for privacy, fonts to customize your style, dated in monthly calendar form for easy back to a secific date or event. Everything one needs !
Very poor, paid for the full version only to find out that you have to pay more for certain features. I tried to insert a photo but the diary would not import the picture. In month view you cannot see if you have made an entry for that day. not recomended
I have some issues with the app. I have been using this app since 2016. I clearly remember my password well and I made sure I didn't make any typos or whatsoever. I tried to back it up cause the question is very obvious and I can answer easily, I didn't get in and when I try to back it up with my email it says that the "error connection" I checked my internet it was very stable and I reset my Wifi and the app, please help me to fix this problem. There are really important things written in there
It does what it says. And then some. I've been using this app for years. And I bought the paid version. So I can customize the backgrounds. My only issues are I can't have it on my Apple iPhone. And that really is a letdown. And I can't change three color anymore of the stars line I used to It is a pain. I have to put my password in constantly, But it is what it is. I enjoy this app. And use it constantly to record my thoughts, days and events

I installed this app in a new phone where in I had all my data backed up in Dropbox. when I imported the same, there was absolutely nothing. I used to write daily on this diary since August 2015. all the journals meant more than anything in this world to me. please if anyone reading this, can help me plz do. you would be a life saver...
This app is good. I can add emojis in the monthly calendar. If this app can do some improvements, it will be the best. e.g.: 1) can add more emojis in the monthly calendar 2) add more emojis logos to Express different kind of feeling of a day 3) if it is possible to write at the website or in the computer.
I don't like this app. Its hard to set a password to get in. I recmmend that in the settings people can choose a wallpaper they have already on there phone, tablet, or computer. You should also put a color custumizer. But overall I don't like it. Hard to navagate around.

This app is good, been using this for years. Just want to suggest, maybe the developer can add a feature when we can write the diary on website that we can access everywhere with any devices? It would be more efficient, I think. Been waiting for this feature for such a long time. Please consider this, since many similar apps already have this feature😅 Thank you
Really like this app. I've been journaling since I was a pre-teen and to be able to upgrade it with a digital app version is really cool I love how you can lock it with a password and how it actually even gives you reminders to say hey what do you want to record today
I love using handy diary and has been using it since 2 years. But now m facing a problem. By mistake i choose forget password and got pop-up message that new password have been sent to my email id. But i haven't received any new password. Since then I'm not able to login to handy diary. I have sent emails to the email id mentioned but m not getting any response. Finding it difficult now. Please help.
It 's the best app I have loved to have on my phone and the most easiest app to upload to the drop box. You move with your dairy in the AIR. YOU CAN ATTACH IMAGES, AUDIO, copy and paste, adjust the time and date of the events AND MORE.
It is absolutely good and of course as the name suggests, it is very much handy. However, i would like recommending updates with more font styles and backgrounds.
It's so helpful for reminders and just stuff you want to get off your chest. Like regular diaries you can easily find the key but on this there's a password and you don't even have to put a question if you don't want to I love this app everybody if you want a diary install this
I've tried keeping hand written diaries before. I never seemed to be able to do it though. This is a great app for me. I can keep a record of my thoughts & feelings. And because it has a password, I know it stays private. I would highly recommend it to anyone!
Excellent quality, it always works,the app is also small enough where it doesn't take up much memory, nor consume much battery life.
There is a bug with the password after the last update. Now, when I exit the app without putting the password in first, then open it again, the app is already unlocked. Please fix it.
it's really neat and I find it really useful. i was just wondering if there was a way to change timezones, its a little confusing looking up as seeing 'Tuesday' when I know it's a Wednesday.
I've been using this app for years.... I love that I can retrieve all my saved diaries even if I change my phone.... bought the app years ago and never needed to repurchase.
I like the app. it's very easy to use. The one thing I don't like about it, is that I couldn't remember my password and they wouldn't text me back so that I could change it. It says they will send you an email, but they don't. Thank God I remembered what it was, because this is the way I keep connected to my 4 month old grandson.
Indeed very handy. Find it easy to add/view daily notes. Dropbox data backup/restore works fast and reliably
Everything was fine as far as I can remember. Well, that is, except for their backup. It's a feature that's continuously bugs me yearly, and I came back to see it still isn't working properly. Been trying to export data but it takes a hell lot of time to. Now I'm trying to import an old data I have, and despite repetitively telling me "download from dropbox successful!" success is very lacking as there is no single file to be seen. My memories are there and I can't even get them back.
