Great selection of artists and, when the app works, very easy to navigate and buy tickets. However there have been multiple occasions where I try to open the app and just get a black screen, and it's only by uninstalling and reinstalling (and going through the whole verification process) that it works again, but only temporarily. This is very frustrating to deal with, especially when I'm trying to open the app in the queue for a gig.
The app used to work great, before the dice boi showed up. Now I get a black screen. Only work around is to delete the app and reinstall every time. Not sure why but its super annoying especially at the actual event. Please fix this.
Utterly useless on latest Android 12, hangs on the splash screen and never starts. Great to have such a reliable app now that events are a thing again. Imagine some of them -requiring- this for access!
Even though I've connected the app to my Spotify, it doesn't find any of the artists I follow. Two came up out of no where, and then they've disappeared. There's also no way to refresh a page on the app, so you have to close and reopen it! Terrible.
The waiting list is an absolute scam. I put my ticket on the list for someone else to take over. This was two weeks before the event. Dice confirmed that there was a high demand but told me that it was up to the venue to manage the waiting list. My ticket did not get passed on and I highly suspect the venue or Dice to have sold my ticket again, knowing I wouldn't make it. I also couldn't sell my OWN ticket on ticketswap, because Dice releases the tickets only two hours before the event :/
I've tried to contact DICE with questions, and I've gotten no response. There's no chat option or phone number available. The wait list doesn't show up on my profile, and there's no way to know where I am in line. The app requires you to verify your phone number with every purchase, which resulted in losing the tickets I meant to purchase. This app isn't functional and has no real support.
I hate companies or apps that make you download their app in order to view a ticket that was purchased. They say it's for safety and to keep the ticket safe. Why can't you just send me the ticket directly to my email. Incredibly annoying.
This is appalling, 3 times I was given 20 minutes to buy tickets for this artist that I really wanted to see, and 3 times I missed the unbelievably short 20 minute response window. I am incredulous about being hailed at random times of the day when I'm likely to busy doing something, what's wrong with a 24hr response window, I was trying to get tickets for this gig about a month before the tickets were released and thanks to the dice app I didn't get to go in the end. Dice can get lost.
I got tickets for luna li through dice. On the day of the concert my friends and I realized it was 18+. I messaged the artist directly about this and she responded saying the listing was wrong! I already requested a refund and could not make it to the concert (3 hour drive). Not only did the customer service take 5 DAYS to get back to us, they said i could have made it since I texted the artist two hours before the concert, so no refund. Customer service is unhelpful. Use another ticket app.
Cool little app, love being able to buy multiple tickets and send to friends with the push of a button. Support is super quick and friendly as well.
While I have not bought tickets from this app yet, I have had to reach out with questions. The clarity and response time from the team is impressive and on point! Seriously valued the communication in my experience with them and for that I will definitely be using the DICE app for more in the future. Thank you again, team!
An app that has an interesting technology which as smart as it is it does not allow you to access tickets until 2hrs before the event. You cannot sell your tickets unless you use their waiting list which is not available until all the tickets are sold. Do NOT buy event tickets from this app
poor service and functionality: Dice and their app i was cheated out of my tickets. I received a notification in the early morning about my tickets being ready that i had reserved for a concert featuring the artist kikagaku moyo in detroit. Being their last tour, this was my last chance to see them. When i followed the link to claim my tickets it told me i was being rerouted to the app. Once their i found that i had no tickets waiting for me, it had forced me back to the bottom of the waitlist.
Changed the venue and the time of the concert and when I tried to contact them about a refund through the app and by email they straight up ignored me. Horrific customer support.
Convenient, fantastic app that helps me find and have easy access to tickets for lots of gigs, parties and events in general. If only I'd found it sooner!
These guys support organizers (Primavera sound) who try to scam buyers. I paid extra for the "refund protection" option (a button supported by Dice) and was told twice the only way to refund tickets was to sell them to someone else. What??? The third time, I was sent to a 3rd party website and told to upload proof of purchase of my ticket in order to request a refund. Total scam. Don't buy primavera tickets with refund protection on this app. Incredibly dissapointed.
Simple, quick and easy. Great service and info. Great way of purchasing tickets and prevents Ticket touts from getting their hands on tickets that real music fans would have to pay an inflated price otherwise.
I've had such a smooth experience using this app. You can put yourself on the waiting list for tickets and get notified when someone has given up their ticket. It was so easy!
I made a bit of an error in the pruchasing process but customer service goit this sorted for me on the same day. Big shout out to Elliott. It's a nice app to introduce new bands and music to you.... better than a streaming service algorithm.
Dice has been a pretty good app but the most recent update completely broke it for my phone. Every time I launch I get a black screen and to get around it I have to uninstall and reinstall.
Trying to confirm my event for tonight but app doesn't load at all. Directly through the app nor through the email. Spent good $$$ on the event, hopefully I can still get in through the email... I'll update later tonight....
I wish I could add frinds & artists without the need to scan my phone. I should have the choice to add what I want without handing over everything.
Only by chance I found they had changed venue of a gig 24 hours before the show and not given any notice. Other booking agents with ticket apps have been far more reliable, would a refund have been paid off we had gone to where we booked for? Would you be happy missing a show because of incompetence like this? I would like original venue levy refunded though
everything you need in the right proportion. this app is very easy to use and should be a staple for all who are common to attending events
Just downloaded the app because I wanted to go on a waiting list for a band I'd love to see. The appalling reviews have completely put me off. Seems hugely unnecessary to have to get an app for a straightforward task which has been perfectly workable via website/email for years. No thanks.
Annoying that I was forced to download this app and sign up just to access my tickets for a gig, only for the venue to not even scan the tickets and just ask for my name anyway. You can't even access your tickets until you go through several pages of questions to set up your 'interests'. You then have to wait until 2 hours before the event to 'activate' your tickets? Sends notifications about useless stuff I can't figure out how to turn off.
When an app wants to sync with my contacts to be helpful that's a red flag. When it won't allow me to copy or share a link without syncing my contacts it's another red flag.... And let's not forget the random closing and you can't view your tickets without an Internet connection. Why would I recommend this app service. If I could give NO stars i would. Please prove me wrong, I'm hoping you are better than this
Edit 3/4/22 - Did you see Dice's response? Why would anyone trust this company with their money? "Sometimes refunds aren't possible". Don't apologize, give me my money back. Got denied at the entrance to the venue after driving almost 40 miles and paying $20 for parking because Dice failed to mention the venue had a dress code. Since when are shorts not allowed at an electronic show? I figured Dice (who facilitated the transaction) would have gone to bat for me and refunded my money. Nope. $27 ticket + $20 for parking and an 80 mile round trip all for nothing because of... shorts.
Downloading the full app is required to get the tickets instead of having a simple PDF format, and if you want to send tickets to a friend you have to give access to all your phone's contacts numbers, instead of being able to just enter the phone number, which really bothers me privacy-wise. The app looks clean otherwise and maybe it is useful for some people - just not me. Apologies if that's not in the scope of the devs responsibilities. (Though asking for contacts access is.)
