Extremely fun and original game! ..... for a little while. Then around World 3 everything starts to fizzle out. Bosses always rolling double 6s with every D6 pair, doing insane amounts of passive damage even if they don't win the roll.. I absolutely love this game but am probably going to delete it just because I'm no longer making any progress. I even spent a few bucks on some gems and have some really good gear to match. But alas fighting all the enemies and bosses over and over again is all becoming a relentless and fruitless grind because I cant even make it to the final boss of the world and end up losing all my progress in the level as a result of the 'Game Over'. Really awesome concept but in the end it's just a highly nostalgic, easy to pick up and play, addictive cash grab. Wish there were some mobile developers left that just wanted to make an awesome game for people and let the vigorous pay-to-win aspects take the back seat. I already spend enough money as it is on AAA games. If there's some heavy patching added to the later enemies and bosses to make things at least fair, this would easily be a 4 or 5 star game for me. But until then, a 3 is the best I can give. And I honestly can't say I'd recommend this game to anyone without prefacing first about the absolutely horrible enemy and boss tactics. If that doesn't sway you, give the game a try. You're sure to enjoy it like I did too.

Was having a good time with the game, it was obviously unfair at times but that's too be expected and made it all the more rewarding when you finally beat that boss. However this is where the problem starts. Once you advance to the 6th world, normal enemies stop dropping gems, the in game currency to get better equipment and to upgrade your equipment. Now don't you think it's a little backwards to lower the rewards you get the farther you get in the game? Turned into a cash grab and made me sad.

Interesting game for about the first 3 hours- once you hit world four you're stuck though. You'd have to watch tons of ads to get enough gems to get any good equipment, and even then you're reliant on luck. Not a lot of variation in equipment/spells, and even though you "keep items" when restarting, you don't keep your stats, meaning you never actually get more powerful for grinding. Probably not worth picking up- a single player game that isn't really completable.

Great graphics, the music is pretty nice, and it's a RNG game alright, however, the game drains a lot of battery, the music rocks for the first 2 hours, then it gets irritating quickly, the flashes gave me headaches and there's a high risk of causing seizures to a person susceptible to it, the game has some potential, unfortunately it's a pretty problematic experience. 3/5

Game what i would expect, having olayed the first Dice Mage, but there are a few major issues: Clicking the 'Upgrade' button while an upgrade is in progress will consume your materials for no return. Having a full 3/3 set of armor also causes enemies spells to be stronger, making sets not worth going for. Screen flashes should he toned down or there should be a way to disable them.

I've been playing about a week. I collected 1 full set. The other commenter had it right when he said that enemy spells get stronger once you have a set. Now at any given point I can be potentially killed in 4 turns or less even by trash mobs even if I win every roll in the process. This game is not worth playing. You will make progress only to find a massive pay wall even on a completely offline game. This is just another great concept killed by unethical development.

I cute game with an original concept. For the most part, gameplay is fair and difficulty ramp is steady. The biggest thing I would suggest is a wider variety of spells, as those are the biggest strategy element. It would also make sense to apply thorns to spell damage as well. The best tactic is to save up for set items with your daily bonus, and scrap weaker gear for upgrade powder. This concept has tons of potential, I'd love to see it utilized in future updates.

This game has potential and I would recommend it, but there are flaws: •scrolling around the map is very awkward and clicking on an enemy immediately sends you into a duel •there is no good reason for any spell to do damage regardless of die numbers (fire/lightning/frost/vampire) - at the very least the shield spell should reduce their damage as well •shield should be buffed - when one attack is enough to take 40-50% of your health, double shield should reduce the damage by 2/3, if not more

There are aspects of this game I like and don't like. I LOVE the fact you made it so easy to get Gems even though you can purchase more. I like the fighting style with the dice and how you get special powers from them. I don't mind the punishment of dying by starting over on that world. -- The thing I hate the most is the fact I keep getting a 1 from a 20 sided dice. I know there are items to prevent that but it is just ridiculous on how often it happens.

Very enjoyable game. Simple and easy to play in short bursts but a good level of persistence to feel like you're building towards progress. Monetization model if fair and doesn't feel invasive at all. A few technical issues, but every game has those these days and they could very likely be patched out by the time you read this.

Gre. D. Feb 12, 2021

Dice rolls feel very weighted against you. At higher levels you can lose without losing dice rolls due to the way spell damage works. Despite how much good gear I have I can't progress because I don't have enough healing to combat every single enemy having spell damage. Worth a try but don't expect to beat this. It wasn't designed for you to.

Fro. L. Feb 16, 2020

This game is great but having to start from the very beginning every time you die tends to make it rather daunting. Maybe if you saved data after completing each world so you didn't have to start from 1-1 when your on 3-4 would help keep players. Its fun but not worth repeating tons of levels every time you die.

Lil. L. Feb 27, 2020

SEIZURE WARNING would be advisable. I've been gaming for 30 years, and never encountered a game with such excessive flashes. I'm not even prone to issues and I got a headache playing this. There does not appear to be a way to turn them off either. Gameplay is basic, not bad not great. Enemy rolls seem to be better more often regardless of the die used. I've used d20s that rolled 1-4 while they max out on d6. I thought my d&d rolls were bad...

Par. W. Feb 22, 2020

I love the game, simple but fun and not confusing. 2 things to improve for me. 1. Make it so the game can be permanently muted rather than having to mute it each time I open it. 2. Turn off flashing effects option, i feel like i am almost having seizures at times.

This is exactly what a mobile game should be. The gems are not impossible to get, but they are also not to easily given out. The combat is fun and looks amazing the lot system is awesome and super unique. I only have one thing to complain about, there is not enough item attributes but the ones in the game already are super fun to use thank you for making this game.

Dra. B. Mar 20, 2020

It's a straight enough game but it gets repetitive soon enough. A greater variety in the reward systems might be beneficial since so much of the game is just about rng. THE TYPES OF dice/spells should also be varied imo, otherwise there's no difference between a lvl1 spell pack and a lvl 22 spell pack since the rng is basically same for both of them.

Dav. H. Feb 5, 2020

Overall good, but one giant issue for me. Please, allow us to turn down or off the flashy effects during battles. It's very annoying and hurts my eyes a lot, and I feel I'm likely not alone with that issue. If that's fixed at the time of reading this, and I haven't edited this to show it, consider this review 5 stars.

Bib. Q. D. Feb 9, 2022

its alright for the first few stages, but to progress further you need better gear, which is only obtainable through rng lootboxes that require you to reroll a random amount of times to get anything good, wasting your gems in the process. the whole dice based system gets pretty infuriating after awhile when you cant really change it up.

Cha. J. Mar 5, 2020

It's fun an all but once you get to world 2 and die it's really unfair and takes so much time and effort just to even get past one part with some health, the bosses do way to much damage and there's some unexplained mechanics in the game, like when my 10 turns into a 1 for no reason and I get hit once and die. Please explain these mechanics to new players cause I have no idea how they work. Also give more gems because they take forever to get by playing.

Rob. B. Feb 19, 2020

I'll be honest I haven't played much of the game but the screen flashes that this game has is really annoying and super unnecessary. If you cast shield or the enemy does, it flashes 3 times, anything and everything makes the screen flash for no reason please reduce the flashes or put in an option to turn them off

Rob. L. Oct 18, 2020

This is a fun game, but it's seriously poorly designed. While there is tiered gear, the different tiers don't do anything. Balance is screwed and things like reflect should reflect all damage. The enemy always gets to attack first, which makes no sense if you win the roll. Etc. Very poorly designed game. It could be a lot more fun, but it's mechanics are hugely gimped the way it is currently. People complain about terrible progression, which is a direct result of asinine design of this game.

5 STAR GAME! free to play, no ads(unless u want boosters) plenty of power ups, graphic are SO DARN COOL! its a mix of pixel art with hd special effects, it has good replay value, and game is fair. Looking foward to dice mage 3!!!( Maybe with multiple characters, second refillable special power, skins, more spells)

M.. Y. Apr 7, 2020

Good game, especially for a dice nerd like me, but the difficulty curve ramps real high. I'm barely on the fifth world and am wearing two set pieces, but keep getting demolished even in the first stage. Maybe I just have bad luck, but it feels bad to keep losing even after using two d20s and losing because the opponent's spells hit me for a forth of my health each time.

Jac. H. Feb 4, 2020

The major issue with games that depend entirely on chance is that there's no way to progress except getting lucky. And as someone who's gotten no fewer than 15 sets of snake eyes that have completely screwed up any possibility of advancement, I'm not interested in waiting until my luck turns around to see what else this incredibly generic game has to offer.

Gre. L. Dec 5, 2021

OK. Gets hard to advance rather quickly. Hundreds of tries cannot get past world 4. Something off about this game compared to first dice mage, which I still play. Looks like it'd be better to start from scratch and build yourself up better but end up getting stuck in a world where everything is stronger.

Great simple rpg type that doesn't attack the wallet. Graphics are basic but the dice rolling is fun. I recommend if you are avoiding the pay to win games. Further dive into the game I hit 'paywalls' where I can't progress with existing loot, there's free methods of combating this but it's a grind

The "game" should be called Advertising Mage 2. There are way too many ads that are technically optional but give gameplay benefits so they aren't exactly optional. At first the ads aren't bad but in the 3 or so hour session I had left a poor taste for me on this game due to the large amount of ads around every corner. 1.5/5

Ayl. G. Mar 25, 2020

So I made it to world 5, go up against the boss and lose. No big deal, I restart the world. Little did I know, I lose ALL monster buffs up to that point. From worlds 1-4 included. So now I'm being one shot by these trash mobs and unless I have a perfect hand I'm losing repeatedly. At least emphasize if we don't pay gems or watch an add we lose near all progress up to that point. Had 1300 health, dropped down to a measly 500 against enemies that do 300 damage and bosses that do more.

Ril. W. Mar 6, 2020

The game has a good base to it but it's clear as day that your not meant to win ether that or crazy unbalanced. There's no way that you can get all good items max damage and crazy amounts of health and so on but still by level two get your butt handed to you on a silver platter it has potential to be an awesome game with actual strategy but still falls short

Mat. M. Mar 24, 2020

The bright flashes hurt my eyes enough that I only completed the tutorial. The game seems like it's more of Dice Mage, which is good so far. Would be interested in playing again after flashes get removed, or at least have an option to turn them off. 3/24/2020
