Fails at its most basic function: to make orders or cancel orders. It crashed on me multiple times when shopping. And when I tried to place an order, it crashed again. So I went to check my order history to ensure it didn't go thru. Order history was blank. So I placed order again. Only to eventually find the original order did go through, silently, so I got charged double. The engineers have utterly failed to deliver the most basic of functions: trust that the buttons I press work.
Lots of good deals. But had an employee wipe my points clear when he reset my email to get me a coupon. I had spent over 800 previously had some built up. I was in shock to see it all gone when i had several emails we could've have used and not lost anything. But he was an awesome employee nevertheless.
They do not want me as a custimer. The app will not let me create an account. Says sorry for the inconvenice, system error. Now im forced to do buissness elsewhere. There is no custimer support.
The app is fine, but I've recently found out that the vast majority of the stores inventory doesn't show up on the app. Extremely disappointing
Okay I'm impressed you took a bad app and made it worse. I don't mean by a little bit. I am angler and the previous organization of the fishing section within the application was bad. But now it's almost unusable. If you somehow end up finding what you're looking for. The checkout process is horrific. If you're signed in with your account it doesn't port in personal information such as shipping address. The scan card feature pulls incorrect numbers. The list goes on and on.
Great advertising. New releases are a breeze to purchase. Shipping is always freaky fast. I say that because I live in the country and I ordered Friday and got them Monday. Thank you Dick's!
What's the point of having an app when it crashes during during drops, sticks you in an endless web queue, doesn't allow you to navigate to the newest drops or fails to load entirely? As long as there's nothing going on, it works. Any releases happening...? 🦗 🦗 Cricket's
Can't even log in. I downloaded the app today so I know it's the newest most updated version. I've made several attempts to log in amd it says "Authentication Failed. Try again" My phone saved my login credentials when I created my account so I know its correct and even at that, I erased it and typed it all in and its still saying it. (I wrote my credentials down so I know it's correct) Super annoyed. Definitely need this fixed.
Every time I click the sign in button it opens up in a browser to login. I enter credentials and then it takes me back to the sign in screen. Endless loop. Who makes an app that doesn't even allow users to sign in?
Whats the point of an app if whenever you try to purchase something it takes you online to their website and makes you log in again to complete the sale. And while doing that, it tells you to try their app in the future. Dumb. Plus it always logs you out of the app.
U can't use their own store credit card to make a purchase on the app. The app doesn't tell u this and when u call in to the call center, their agents apparently don't know this. So basically they give u the run around on how to use their credit card on the app. Their methods don't work and u ultimately have to order on the Dick's website to use their store credit card.
It doesn't save the last thing you were looking at if you change your screen. Switching app/window or turn the screen off and go back to the app, you have to start your search all over just to get back to the item you were just looking at. I was trying to compare shoes online while in the store. It added several minutes to my visit because I had to search all over when I turned my screen off.
Have loved this app for the MOVE and adding to points for my SCORECARD. My points are still being added, as I just got a $10 off reward. However, I have tried multiple times to access my account but continue to get the message about email or password being incorrect. I have changed password, reinstalled and restarted phone and nothing works. I am very frustrated. I want my points to continue adding up. However, I don't really want the app to take up space on my phone if I cannot access it.
Not only is this one of the worst apps I've ever used, if you didn't notice they went from X minutes of activity to 10,000 steps in order to get three points. No longer worth having this app to even be near me. Just try to check inventory in a store near you with multiple shirt colors available in multiple sizes. It was just so frustrating once you drill down to the item you wanted and it's no longer available, even though it stated it was before.
My wife told me to get this app to link my fitbit to it for rewards through the MOVE program. Sounds great, except the MOVE program linking to the fitbit won't work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and even made two different accounts, nothing. The DICKs page where you link a tracker device to your account doesn't work. Either nothing happens when I click fitbit, or if it does and I choose all permissions, it fails to connect. Fix this issue and I will change to 5 stars.
I downloaded this app for their "move" feature. Basically, one gains points for their exercise. It is supposed to work in conjunction with Fitbit, Garmin, and the Under Armour Map My Fitness apps. I use the Under Armour Map My Walk app, and every day for the last 4 days I have surpassed my goal. I am supposed to be awarded 3 points/day. It doesn't give me any at all. It claims to sync, but it doesn't. I don't need encouragement to exercise, and I don't need the frustration of this app.
Good selection of the stuff I'm interested in. App is well designed and easy to manage.
I'm sorry Dick's normally I really enjoy shopping your sales but please make an investment to upgrade your app. Such a terrible experience. The screen jumps around when you're scrolling, filters reset all the time during product searches. I almost purchased a $1500 treadmill last night but had second thoughts because of the poor user experience. Add some functionality that would allow your customers to compare items. Maybe someone will read this. Thanks for listening.
One of the worst apps I've ever used. Constantly crashes and sends me back to the home screen, and any time I try to check out and actually spend money, it gets me all the way to billing information only to kick me back to my cart view after I've typed in my card info. Haven't been able to buy anything. Which I'm assuming is the whole point of shopping.
I get the occasional lag, and sometimes an error that cant be backed out of, but my biggest problem is the cart. Nothing actually adds to the cart and I cant checkout or save any items. Otherwise the layout of the app is nice and simple, its accessability is easy, and the filters are detailed.
Useless app, cannot search inventory or look up anything.
Good products. Scorecard program is a good customer loyalty program. The app and their remote customer service is absolute garbage. They don't seem to mind that me and many others are all saying so either as they are doing nothing quick to fix any of this. Update - If customer service worked I could have fixed a number of my problems sooner, but I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it is working better with the newer version for Scorecard and order history. Ordering improving too.
Move worked, then didn't, then a few months ago did, and then on Mar 5 didn't. It now freezes when I try to select the Move feature. The Move concept is great and when it worked I felt an affinity for Dicks and always used the $10 reward toward a larger purchase. It's sad that this app is messing it up.
Not good. It's really just an app on top of their web page. No benefit to using app instead of just the webpage itself. Worse still, the shopping cart is clunky. I spent 20 minutes choosing about 8 items, gradually adding them to my cart. Then I tapped one item, got a "page not found". When I refreshed, cart empty. Guess I won't be buying today.
Move activity syncing broken. I am able to connect the app to my Under Armor account, but none of my activity syncs. MapMyFitness has the correct workout data, but Move never sees it even though it says it is synced. The app used to work fine, but a while ago I had account issues like everyone else and then it doesn't work. Every once in a while a sync might make it through, but it rarely happens.
Can't use the app to order anything because I can't add anything to my cart.
Worst app I have ever had. It takes forever for any page to load. I'll even go to the website to try and order instead but it always takes me back to the app, only it never logs me in after repeated tries so I can never use my points. I give it a generous 2 stars because I do like the points being automatically added. And, IF it does work, it's fine. Honestly, their website isn't much better. Which is so disappointing because I shop here all the time.
Turns out at the end when you select your shipping method and you choose store pickup, only the first item is changed. Even while shopping, store pickup was selected. I don't even know how it was changed. Now, I only have one item, the others are being shipped. I needed all of these items ASAP. I will NEVER use this app again. Everytime I shop at this store there there is an issue whether it's in-store, online, or with the app. Total joke. I wish I could give 0 stars.
