THANK YOU for allowing installation to SD card! A feature that most developers "overlook" (because of *course* their apps are so important that they must demand core internal memory). This app is better than most paid or ad-driven competitors to begin with, but the memory thing just seals the deal even more. Awesome dictionary app.

Always using this app when reading books. Extremely helpful for getting through books full of all the big words. Nice bookmark feature and also the settings allows you to activate more related words. Never has any bugs or problems. Thanks!

It's by far the best dict in the world but in the last few updates, the autocorrect option on my keyboard gets disabled whenever I type a word in Wordweb search box. Autocorrect option works fine in all other apps except Wordweb. Thanks Edit: It's always updated. The autocorrect row never shows up when I type in the search box.

I absolutely rely on this. Offline dictionaries are the absolute best, especially during power outages, car trips, and no data/signal. Lifesaver in winter in high school & college!!!!

Great dictionary, only if you can add the real transcriptions for both American and British words, and if possibly add a section for the new words added in every update, and add a shortcut button for the random word feature. Which I'm in love with this helpful feature.. and finally add an amoled theme for this dictionary. Thanks :)

Over the years, this dictionary have proven to be exceptionally great from the days of my blackberry and now IOS and Android. Still outstanding. Kudos to the developers.

Amazing!!! I needn't say more. Get rid of the numbers in search. It says "any letter". Dictionaries don't have numbers.

Exactly the tool I've been looking for with regular expression-like searching to help with puzzles. It's simple to use.

This dictionary is so good. The layout is so simple and every word comes with a lot of examples of sentences. But it would be even better if the words on this mobile app came with the pronunciations and the nouns came with a countable or an uncountable label on each.

Good and easy to use. Will appreciate more if options are made to syng the bookmarks so that it is not lost if user change device or had to device factory reset. This app has been my primary dictionary app and I lost all bookmarked words during resetting my device recently and while charging device early. It really bothered me.

Excellent app. Simple and detailed. No voice feature though like in the iOS.

It has EVERYTHING! I love this app. It satisfies and helps me with my vocabulary. So many easy and common words the average human understands, and so many classified and advanced words this dictionary has. The different types of definitions in here gives clear and different perspectives of different words. It really can educate a kid like me under 16, which is cool because now I am able to understand words that kids my age wouldn't understand ☺. I am pleased and recommend this app to be used 😊.

I just installed so have not really used the app. However it was exactly what I was looking for. You are able to look for words that have missing letters or unsure of the spelling. Gives you a list of words to scroll through. So far very pleased.

Very good app I mean awesome, I use it practically everyday to improve my vocabulary 👀I realized the meaning of some words, sometimes have a word in the definition that I of to then search for that definition, like just awhile ago I searched for the word abhor: find repugnant, which I had to search for because I didn't want to awesome the meaning, on Google abhor: regard with disgusted and hatred. Simple and to the point. It's sometimes annoying, sometimes 😏

Not able to integrate inside Kindle App for Android. Honestly, dictionary dot com inside Kindle App is pathetic when compared with WordWeb. So, please integrate. Also, read aloud word as in desktop version would be great.

really like the word web app. the only reason i gave it three stars is because there's a delightful feature that it once had that has since been removed. the feature was: i could type a word wrongly then the dictionary would bring me suggestions of words that i could be trying to type. can we get that feature back for a 5 star rating??

i am very glad to use this app. It has best design to provide services to new learners. it filters the words. it has fantastic spelling suggestions for confusing word. I am very glad to have this apps. it is the best offline dictionery i have ever used.

Excellent and very handy. Very user friendly interphase. It is a must have for students at all levels. Use it and you will realise its importance. Thanks to the developers. The best features are - It works in offline mode. Secondly it does not make the system hang. Third, it can be easily transferred to the SD card. So it doesn't occupy your mobile's memory. Most importantly the word meanings are exact and nicely explained and illustrated with examples. You also get related words easily.

Simple and straightforward. Definitions are easily understandable, and the customization it offers is impressive - you can decide if you want the app to show words similar to the word you're searching for, as well as its antonyms. In other words, not only this is a dictionary but also it's an effective thesaurus. Oh, and also, dark mode.

I've been using this app since a lot of time now. Got uninstalled by mistake.. wordweb is amazing. The definitions are simple and to the point. However, I would like to have Wordweb save the history of all the searched words in storage or something. It does save words to a particular point, after that though it just deletes the previously searched words. Also swiping on keyboard doesnt work on this app. I would really appreciate if the Wordweb team makes these changes in the future update.

Almost exactly what I need. My only want is to add, edit, remove my own words and derivations. However, that set of functions is not advertised by this app. Giving it a full 5 stars because it does exactly as advertised, and with a bonus dark background option. It integrates conveniently into the popup bar which appears when a word is selected and highlighted.

This is one of my favorite dictionaries; however there are some inaccuracies within the app. When you search for words like "information" and "equipment," it shows you their plural forms as "informations" and "equipments," which are inaccurate since these words are mass nouns and do not have plural forms per se. Please fix this to avoid any confusion.

It is a best dictionary till now I have seen and I am using it from 2-3 years personally. I have so many things are updated and made more flexible to use and made better user experience but I just need to suggest something that I was feeling, this things should be updated too. The navigation bar in which is in top, it that is switched to down side then it will be more flexible and easy navigate it with just few thump touches without using second hand. I will be happy to see something from this !

I've been using this dictionary on my computer before smartphones came into market and I've always loved it. It's simple and concise. I've been using it on my phone and tablet as well for years. But with this update, the swipe continuous functionality is not working on the app. But the functionality works on other apps on my phone. What's wrong? 😐

absolutely the best dictionary app out there, it has got that optimal balance between best performance & lightness in size. Awesome UI comes with different background themes and multiple search options. search history is also saved for every word you look for. Every word you touch leads you to its basic definition too. The window version for PC'S is even far more astoundingly superb and again very light in size too!!! It just rock and that's in no way an exaggeration if you tried it like i do!

This app is really beautiful and user friendly. I had used this app to form many important definitions. However, there is an issue about proper definitions. If I search a word, for example, 'contemptuous', the meaning which comes is "expressing extreme contempt". But if a person actually did know the meaning of 'contempt', why would he search for 'contemptuous'? In this case you would have to search again for the base word 'contempt'. Hope this issue will be improved.
