This is my all time favorite calendar app. The widget is beyond compare & it has all the features I could think of & more. Superb! Update: Recently I've been unable to move/reschedule individual instances of recurring events. It's not a big deal, but it's a little inconvenient.
Lately, the app has been screwing up the "repeat" or recurring entries. It would not allow for change on only one particular date. I used to be able to correct this by "refreshing" the calendar, but now that causes another issue. It then messes up the dates on all the recurring entries. So I've had to go thru the entire year several times to correct the dates. Never had this problem before when refreshing, & I'm sick of having to scroll thru entire calendar to correct the dates.
This is an excellent calendar app. It exceeds my needs. I'd been using it for around an hour before I purchased the premium version! I've paid for the calendar add-ins too, I've got holidays and weather subscriptions now which work out at around £4 per year. Excellent value for money. It's helped me organise my days better than my old calendar. If it made coffee it would be my dream calendar!!! Highly recommend.
I might have given this 5 stars. But there's an annoying bug. I deleted an event but it's still showing on the widget. I've checked on my Google Calendar and it's been deleted from there successfully. But no matter how many times I try to refresh the DigiCal Calendar app and widget, the event is still showing, even though it no longer exists on my Google Calendar. Also, it's not showing the weather, even though I've enabled it in the settings.
22/03/26 this app used to be awesome and i dont know what happened or who's fault it is but it is littered with syncing issues. I've sent emails and done everything. You need to stop going through google/android for sync. They are gaslighting the competition. You need to make the calendar sync directly, i'm telling you. it's honestly sad to see. Now i'm forced to use google's calendar app. it's honestly sad.
Been using this for years and was the best one around. But like some others I've found for the past few weeks my recurring appointments no longer display correctly. For me they should be for a full 7 days as all day appointments,but they now only show as the Monday and no longer strexh across the week. If I goto my Gmail calendar itself rather than digical, they display correctly. Please fix this bug, otherwise digical is excellent 👍
ive been using this app for awhile now and it does what it should. i would recommend this to anyone who wants to a easy calendar widget. my only bad point is i wish i could turn off the reminder option for all time instead of having to do it manually for each entry to the calendar. but that is a personal choice :)
Love it! I use this on the daily for getting personalised views on my home screen. However, I find the way it integrates events with other mailboxes is fantastic - but key feature, again, for me if legibility in customisation. Can be super detailed, or super plain depending on your tastes
Have upgraded phone from Samsung S10 to S22 Ultra and reinstalled both Digical and Digical+ yet doesn't matter what I do, my Google calendar entries created via pc/Web browser, will not sync or display on my calendar on my phone - I have to manually add them via Digical. Used to work no problem on previous phone.
It is a great app but will not allow me to change the notification tone. When I go to settings it says that it was moved to the settings app for the phone on Android Oreo, but that was 4 updates ago and it is no longer there either. If I could change the notification sound I would give it 5 stars
After being annoyed with other calendars on my phone in recent years, I finally found this gem. I can see the whole month and at the same time, I can see the current items, which I have colored by category. I ♥ it! After using this calendar for two years, I still love it and installed it on my new phone.
For using the widget in my Pixel (3...soon to transition to 6), it is the best fit of any current widget that I have been able to find in the Play store! I've had to remove at least four other so-called widgets that don't provide what they describe! Thumbs up DigiCal!!
Digical, this app changed my life. I tend to be forgetful and used to take notes everywhere of all appointments, including the written planner. However I wasn't caring it with me all around the place and wasn't able to provide an immediate answer if I was available at certain given moment. Thank you 💖
I really like the interface, better than Google Calendar, but it does not update events by itself. I have to open Google Calendar for Digical to update its events, which kind of defeats the purpose.
2022: need modern design, themes are so outdated and ugly. Great calendar. Lot of upselling. No improvements in years - nothing new. Still leaves popups of events already discarded or deleted. 2019: missed appointments cannot be edited - showstopper
Very good but lacks two essential features: "resize event by dragging", and "drag to move instead of having to cut/paste". Else I would use it as my main calendar app and update my rating to 5 stars.
Simple, perfect app for sending out an invite quick/personal scheduling. My Mi RedNote has issues syncing with GCal so was looking for a replacement. Colleagues can't tell I'm working off another app ;) Thanks!
Does not support In App Notification Settings. Otherwise, good calendar app. Integrates to my GMail and Outlook 365 calendars. I use the widget on my homepage and the app on another page. Both the widget and the app are attractive and easy to configure. Always works. No problems or drama.
Not syncing properly with Google calendar. Recurring events are not functioning properly when you try to update a single event. I've stopped using this app...even though I paid for premium. It's just a mess lately and I can't rely on it being accurate. Please fix this.
Feature full app, some more customization, like amoled mode and accent color options (with the + version which I bought) and overall the best calendar app! The only thing I don't like about it that it doesn't have a modern design. EDIT: Update was released, also changed my opinion, updating to 5 stars
After using this app for years it's working the way should. I do like the features that allow it to remember places. This has become my default calendar app. Being able to copy and paste events is a great time saver.
Every time I make an recurring event that last for more than 1 day, the app change it to a 1 day event. Tried it multiple times and tried reinstalling too. This makes this calendar absolutely worthless.
Is this not a stand-alone calendar? Needs another calendar to run??? Privacy and this app- out the window. Please explain how this can be a stand alone calendar. The GUI is nice, but I will not share personal calendar info with Google or any other entity. (The holidays google chooses to place on their calendar are disgusting and mal-balanced)
I enjoyed this app better on the Samsung Notes. There were more options. I really miss being able to schedule a text message to send at a later date. I was helpful to remind people of appointments.
Doesn't work. I paid for the app and it worked fine on my old phone. Now that I got a new phone, I cannot transfer the license for it to work on my new phone. It kicks me out and keeps displaying errors. Worked fine, but now cannot transfer its license to my new phone . It's useless.
Its the best free calendar I've came along. Love How you can leave Title Headings. And then write notes in as you scroll down. Its got alarms. Reminders. This app has everything anyone could need. And choose you're own colour codes
So far, so good. Minor quibble, but this is really frustrating because, depending on how each app I use does it, I have to go back and change events I've set to repeat: "Repeat 1 time" means twice total: the first time and one repeat. "Repeat 2 times" means three times total, and so on. It wouldn't even bother me that much if every single app made the same mistake, but it's not consistent at all.
