Great app, I got the premium $9.99 Many great features, has the fields I want, but missing a few thing. I'm trying to migrate from CamCard to this software and it has been a bit challenging. Could you add: - import Vcard file. - Search when importing. - Many of the cards I have don't have a name (just company name). These cards don't show up when I'm trying to import. Also won't let m save without the import field. -an option to edit the cards from my computer. -if possible add Arabic OCR.
Very accurate and non clutter application. It's worth to its purpose, time saving with accurate contact data storage. I have tried, many Business card holder/scanner. But ,Digicard has fulfilled, expected work, bulk cards scan effortlessly & effectily organize.
Good App with neat interface. Opted for the good privacy policy. Feild recognition has improved but still sometimes the company name appears in person name and vice-versa. Especially on cards where the company name appears on the top section of the card. OCR still needs improvement. Please give an option to rerun ocr process on the image if the initial results are not satisfactory. Suggestion: please add separate contact account in device with scanned card details
Scanner read all the contact information perfectly and it save lots of time . I use to loss business cards all the time but now i can easily scan those cards . And i no longer need to save each and every number
DigiCard is the best card scanner app i have used till now. It scans the cards very effectively and insert all the relevant details automatically. A new contact is created in both Digicard and Phone contacts as we click on save button.
Pretty terrible at correctly spelling things from the pictures it takes. Whenever I try to sort by group, the app autocloses. Pretty design, at least.
I swear, I can't figure this thing out. I scanned one card, it went to my contacts and I thought hey, just what I'm looking for and purchased the app, wasn't very much if I recall. But every card after that that I try, I take a photo / scan, the progress thing just turns and turns. ** It seems that there was an unfinished card in the edit queue, I just had to put a title on it, works like a champ now
This is a great app for storing and sharing business cards. There are just a few things that could be improved. The ability to add more pictures is needed, as many cards are two sided. Also, separate fields for social media would be nice. Right now I'm adding social media info as additional websites, but having a separate field would be better, along with being able to link directly from the app to the website or social media page.
I've looked for an app that would allow me to scan both business cards and personal cards and keep the ones I want separate from my main contact list. This app lets me do that. It scans mostly accurate except for some of the cards with to much information or the exotic cards, but that's a common problem and nothing to do with this app. Its very easy to use and pretty straightforward. One of the best card scanners I've found. I would recommend to anyone.
Love the way your card looks compared to a competitor. However, I cannot get it to share the file via text message. I keep getting a message that says 'can't transfer files you can only send images, videos and text messages to this recipient.' I have tried multiple people on iphone and android and get the same message every time. I have unchecked all boxes except vCard File.
This is the best tool for this purpose I've found! For what I use it for, which is to store images of my collective business cards, it awesome. Allows me to do what I needed. Not bloated with unnecessary features of little or no use. Best of all, really easy to use. I'd like to see a crop feature (to be honest, I haven't updated lately, so may already be there) and maybe a folder/directory system to hold cards... But I still feel it's currently earned 5 stars.
Pretty darn happy with this app! It's easy to scan (both sides), crop and rotate the card pictures, easy to create themed groups, and I'm impressed with the accuracy of the card text reading (is easy to edit if it seems confused w/many #s). I'm going to use this app to have a backup of all of my important cards, like insurance/loyalty cards/licenses, not just business cards. The only negative I see is that I can't back up my cards to Google Drive without paying for the privilege.
Seeing all those excellent remarks and after a try I bought app. It is not that simple to use as one would wish for. If card has some catchy graphics or image app can't define boundaries of the card and is not scaning it. What I'm also missing is automatic scan when that yellow square appears. When square appears and I try to push scan button square is gone and app makes a picture of card and background. Sometime I have to try several time before I get scan. And than that message while processing „..results are better if you are online..“ I am on-line all the time but I see no difference in results or scan quality being online or not. If you have time and patience app is usable. For fast, accurate scaning only in extremly favourable conditions.
I was always a loyal user of CamCard. When the move was on for promoting Indian apps, I was in search for an alternative and found this wonderful app. Needless to say, DigiCard has exceed all my expectations! It is simply the best of all virtual cardholders. The scanning is quite simple and without any quirkiness. The data scanned are well digitalized and presented for review. There is nothing much to review as the app itself does a pretty great job. Thank you Digi Card team! 😊
I would like to have the ability to share / send a stored business card to someone. -----------edit below----------- I did not get an email (I also checked the spam messages). Also I would like to re-scan a card without having to delete the card (losing all edits) and starting over. A help file in the app or via a website would be very helpful. ---Edit 2--- got the email after 1st edit. I'm so impatient. very helpful support. bumped to 5 stars.
When I paid for premium I initially was up to 5 stars. But some time after I scanned all my paper cards and tossed them, Digicard cannot find them any more. I am screwed and you can be too. Emails to the company do not get answered. Is there a way to rescue cards? Where are they stored?
Easy user interface and scanning function is accurate. I would recommend this app. Great work DigiCard team.
Simply great app with nice UI. It works well and has almost all features for its purpose! UPDATE: Thanks to developers for prompt, assuring reply below, also. Can't wait to add deserving 1-star in adding these key improvements: 1. more optional Card Designs 2. some optional Logo Designs 3. an in-app gallery to save user's trial cards (when necessary), before final user-created card 4. fix changes in font numbers positioning, after every close of card-creating page and 5. Tagline-adding feature.
I have scanned all my cards and now the cards image are not visible (only white space instead). May I lost all. And email support isn't respond. Was good.
Excellent app. Easy and simple to use. Can scan both sides of a visiting card. Data be exported easily. Card image can be sent over WhatsApp. Super app. You can also add notes for each card. You can create your own digital card. This is better than camcard. Unlike camcard, the OCR is much better where the app reads and interprets names and addresses in proper English.
Absolute worst scanner app I have ever used. Camera will not focus for the life of me. It took 15+ tries and roughly 20mins to scan one business card. I'll probably die of exhaustion before the picture focuses. 2 weeks old LG G7 ThinQ has been working like a dream with every other app so far, so I'm hard pressed to think the problem is related to my phone.
Very naff when you think of what's available that's similar and over priced for what you actually get. Nice idea but executed poorly, very clunky and not user-friendly. Installed and uninstalled within 5 minutes after navigating through the app was a struggle. CamCard and ABBYY card similar apps with the same issues, not great...
looks nice and your up front about pushing to upgrade to your premium app you have to pay for. But I want a free app to scan unlimited cards into my phones contacts not have a max of 30. Maybe I need to write to Samsung and see if they can make an app what will work with their software and auto fill into contacts. This is the second app I downloaded I thought would work for me.
Liked after Camcard, well organised info keeping, social media address data field is also there. Keep it up.
I love the app, you should consider adding a feature that allows us to add a second picture to a contact, as well as to choose which picture we want to set as default, because many times the cards are double-sided and we end up having to choose only one side of the card. Keep up the good work.
This is the best business card app i think! its very useful and cheaper than the others. only one payment for lifetime(premium) version. I can add my social networks (Facebook, instagram, twitter, youtube and linkedin) on my businesscard. I love that feature. And export cards to contacts and Google drive. perfect!
great app, i am using it to upload and store hundreds of business cards. can i make some suggestions? please can you insert an option to rotate card after it has been read and stored. i have a few odd cards with large unusual logos that the app wants to read sideways and this obviosuly throws off the ocr. additionally it would be great if i could select or sort via the address section. we have many international contacts and it would be useful if they could be sorted into eg. "usa" or "nigeria"
thanks for alternate solution hope ti see features soon modifying my review : i paid for the app thinking it will have better feature and clear scan but i am feeling disappointed the picture of cards are still hazy and takes time to recognise and not often accurate. now whats mire bugging is that i can save the contact in Gmail. i have just one option to save in device. thats a very old way of managing the contacts. I might feel looking for other app
Good app but missing essential functions. - when creating a contact and selecting a contact card, afterwards it is not possible to add a business card (front and back ) or interchange against the internal contact card. Why those restrictions? - there is no button to cancel a scan. Had to erase the cache, while the scan was hanging in a loop. Providing a cancel button give the user more controlling power - there is no side bar for selecting groups to have more filter options. Why limitations?
