So far so good (day 1 review) very smooth. Only question is, is there a way to make it so it automatically rotates back and forth? A suggestion would be to integrate an auto-rotate function with settings to allow it to go back and forth, set the angles that it rotates between, how fast it rotates, and whether it's just vertical or horizontal. But for the price of the products, and for a free app, no complaints at all thus far.
A little disappointing . The app doesn't always send the notifications through. When I go on the app I am flouded with them. All setting are correct and for pushing notifications, but doesn't seem to always come through, which is not ideal. Doesn't always sense aswell, I have walked infront of it on multiple occasions and it doesnt always pick me up.
I will give it 5 stars when y'all can fix it so the sound doesn't go out when it reloads the camera. Also, the crying detection does not work! My notifications do not come in until after I close the app and go back in as well. Other than though I think it's amazing, and the graphics are really good.
No complaints besides the choppy voice communication, but that's not what I bought them for. Noise and motion notifications have a delay, once again I just bought it for video and it does that great, with impressive night vision. I like that turning the phone turns the camera view. If I bought the camera for everything that I had mentioned, I might give it a lower rating, but to me all those are added bonuses that kind of work and are still pretty nifty
App is okay... Two of us in the house have installed this and are having similar issues. The app keeps freezing or is just really slow. The Baby crying alerts don't seem to work. I used it for the 1st time last night and didn't receive any notifications although my baby woke 3 times. Notifications for movement are very delayed. I received notifications about 15-20 minutes after turning the camera off? I love the clarity of the camera though and the function to move the lense.
Please add a button in the app that will allow me to turn on the infrared light / night vision. Since the night vision currently only turns on automatically, the night vision rarely turns on when it should. The whole point of the camera is so I can check on my baby at night without waking him or getting out of bed. So far, I'm disappointed in the camera. Letting me turn the night vision on in app would be a simple fix to this problem.
I really like this camera. I had some issues, like the picture being upside down. HOWEVER, the customer service was very good. Clearly broken English but sent pictures describing what to do. I will admit some of it was my error. We have 2.4 & 5 internet speed. The camera ONLY connects to 2.4. My phone connects to 5. Once I got thr phone on 2.4 its been great. The settings allow you to pick the sensitivity. I turn off motion and decrease when home. Change when I go out. Awesome!
The picture is very clear both colour and day time & the night vision so impressed by that. The overall quality of the product is decent and very reasonably priced. It does do a lot of motion sensor for no apparent reason, I think it catches dust particles which perhaps trigger it however there have been numerous instances where you get no motion sensor alert but my baby has woken, sat up and is crawling off the bed and no alerts received. The device is for some reason now quite inconsistent.
This camera is in our Daughter's room. It was very easy to set up, and has HD quality even at night time (night vision). It also has a two way microphone if you needed to talk with whomever in the room. It has a slight static feedback when the sound is on so we have to turn the sound down but otherwise it works great. Very satisfied!
Video freezes, and takes a while to come back, you need to pay close attention to the timestamp to see if the live video is on going or its just frozen. Even if you deactivate the motion traking the camera still does it which is annoying. Sometimes camera goes crazy and starts doing 360 view. Poor light detection, most of the time its on night vision even on daytime. For the price is ok, but definitively wont recommend or would buy it again.
Easy to set up, picture quality is second to none for such a device as this (camera). Simple to get up & running as well as navigating both the user interface menus & camera movement controls.
This company is a scam. I canceled my free trial within the 7 days, was still charged for a membership without giving the option on even choosing which one I would have wanted if I did want to continue with a membership. Of course, they charged me for the most expensive one ($199.99) for 5 cameras. I only have one camera. There is also no way on the app to delete your PayPal information. There is no contact information on the app either. My bank account is now negative.
I have had this for a while now, it is good does what i need, however it does turn itself on and off at times, it can make weird clicky noises and it only gives you 6 seconds of motion detection which is annoying as if you want more you have to pay extra for cloud storage. Other than that, it is a good camera. Been using it as cctv of my driveway and recently a baby cam for my newborn to keep an eye on him whilst he sleeps. Also good as you can out a pin on for extra security. Its not that bad
Had to change to one star - double charged me. Tried contacting them to get refund on double payment but no where for customer support. Worked well but if you have a problem no one to discuss this with. I have now cancelled my subscription all together.
Update: Inspite of being a paid subscriber, frequently I can't get access to the alleged archives. No videos are being uploaded to the cloud service anyway. So, paying for the subscription is rip off and I'll be cancelling henceforth. I've sent two emails to their support email since March and never received a response. I'm outta here! I'm quite happy with the camera and it's features. I've used the optional subscription and found it handy to go back a week to highlight and download events. Audio playback is impressive considering the distance of the camera to the surveyed activity. At first the picture quality was grainy and always black and white. Lately, that isn't the case. The camera has been truly helpful. Footage retrieved was crucial in diagnosing an unpredictable health issue. It's captured spontaneous joy too.
