Digital Clock Widget
- Long click on an empty space of your home screen
- Select Widgets
- Select Digital Clock 4x1 or Digital Clock 2x1
IMPORTANT! If you use Memory Booster or any other kind of task killer, make sure that Digital Clock Widget is on its white list or it will not work properly.
If the widget stops working after upgrading to a new version, please uninstall and reinstall!
Digital Clock Widget is a very tiny (only 90 kB) home screen widget that displays current time, date, day of week, alarm clock and battery level percentage (+ battery temperature). It contains 2 versions:
- 4x1: You can click the time (to open an alarm tool), date (to open a calendar application), battery level (to open the battery usage screen) or settings icon.
- 2x1: You can click the time to open a context menu with alarm, calendar, battery and settings items.
The widget also contains a cuckoo clock that notifies you on every full hour. The cuckoo can be easily activated/deactivated or set a time range of automatic activation.
The widget allows you to change size and color of all texts, including the background transparency. Use the options to create an ideal digital clock for your device.

Update: LET ME BE CLEAR, I STILL LOVE THIS APP for the same reasons I said before! The freedom to edit the font sizes of the time but even more, the DAY of the week. BUT it now has bugs! After my most recent update on my Poco X3 mobile, the app seems to stall and time literally stops or lags like an old windup watch that was not re-wound. To correct this, I have to restart the phone so that it can catch up to the correct time. I hope you can help correct this.
What I was looking for. Sleek and functional widget for my home screen that I can tap the time: open clock, date: open calendar of choice and optional battery that displays remaining juice and temperature: tap and opens system battery stats! Very useful. Can customize the color of each on the widget. Three issues: 1. Choose the clock app of choice? 2. Next Alarm is wrong and 3. When opening Google Calendar tapping the date a new event screen opens up vs. the calendar view. Nice option to maybe have a choice of either calendar view or open a new event. Fixing these issues will make the widget perfect! 👌
Good minimalist lightweight app. 👎 Would've got 5⭐ from me, if widget resizing was an option (not just font resizing within a given area), and if could set different settings for each widget. 👎 Can't change font color (android 10). 👍 A nice touch feature (of the 4x1 widget) is that tapping the time, opens the native clock app, and tapping the date, opens a new event entry in the native calendar app. 👍 Another fun feature is the old fashion round hour audio (subjected to user suppression). 4⭐
I like the look of this widget but for some reason the time is always completely off. Like 45 min, 19 min, 1 hr etc.etc. I have no idea why. It might have nothing to do with the app itself but it's still annoying. Uninstall for now and experiment with other to see what happens. If there's no improvement i'll be back to this one and just have to deal with correcting it all the time because i really like the look of this one. We'll see....
I've used this app for a long time and it has been great. Also, with all the color options for everything it's easy to color coordinate the widget with wall papers, themes, etc. Get this app...I really DON'T think you will be disappointed. Another year has gone by and I'm still in love with this app. It's always running & accurate. Have installed it on a third phone now. It is by far the very best. Thank you thank you thank you.
This is a neat app. There cuold be some updates, fix it if you tap on the clock you could go to a weather app or anything asigned to it. It would be nice if I could make it a 5x1 size. I do not need the year, just the month, day and what day it is. The alarm font is real small. Otherwise this is a neat app and I love the big font for the clock.
Although not all functions work in Pie it is still better than all the other clock widgets available. if it worked in Pie it would definitely get 5 stars. This is the only widget I have found that the font is the entire size of the widget (no wasted desktop space) It would be nice if there was an option to remove the year and make day and date larger on the widget. No longer updates time.
I wanted an app for time & date only. I wanted it to be large like a head line to see a a glance. This app is perfect!!! I was able to make it the color I wanted to match my wallpaper. I am so happy perfect SIZE and pink color to match the pink flowers on my wallpaper 🌺🌺 I tried about 10 other apps I was very unhappy with them all. I was about to give up.....So glad found this app. Many options for all your taste
Worked okay once I figured out how to stop battery saver ( setting> battery > power saving exclusion) and security app from interfering with the time update. It's nice it doesn't have ads. Android 8.0
Extremely small app as I wanted with good customize options. Unfortunately it does not have the countdown which I use regularly. I would have preferred much more the standard page opening on clicking rather than the small menu app.
Basic clock which I wanted. Excellent for adjusting font sizes, colors. Being able to change fonts, omit year would make this outstanding, but for free and no ads ... recommend it!
I love the full customization. Except for you can't choose your own sound for the alarm. I would like that to be added to the app as a option to choose.
I really liked this widget. A lot. But... If has got so that the time takes spells of freezing. 15+ minutes behind AR times.. I Uninstaller, reinstall. Works for a while. Then freeses again. Finally installed different widget to try.
It's really nice, but I'm looking for one that fills the entire length of my phone screen. It'd be perfect if you could make the 4×1 option a 5×1.
l found this widget to be easy oprational,simple and attractive.The only problem is the non- functioning of colour settings inspite of attempts made repeatedly. kindly rcctify it.
Very useful. A nice way to wake up. One comment the volume test button is covered by the cancel button. Could they be adjusted??
I have hours looking for a clock app with my preferences and finally, THIS App seems to have every feature and customization I was looking for, widget features, color customizations, font sizing, widget sizing.
Just what I want...colour change of fonts...simple, transparent background if desired, etc. Perhaps sit the clock up higher a little inside the area.
12/21 Still love it.. Now have working on newer S10E phone Android 11. Had old J3 to match my settings :) Useful data in 1 x 2 window. And shows upcoming alarm. Tx!
Incredible! This is just what I was looking for. Plz help me to give you 5 star by increasing the date- font size, to make it more conspicuous. Also, if you plz set, 3 alphabets for the month name, you can save space there. Incredible, plz carry on helping people. A great job indeed. May God bless you!
Time showing is slow and battery charging is NIL, and remove spanoor in the showing bar if rectify this yours is the very best app because I have tested a lot , hope you will soon will rectify the same ,Thanks all of you, best of luck . Clock not working properly plz rectify as early as possible
Fits my needs ALMOST exactly. am/pm is showing up as a or p (bug). Would prefer if different size widgets had separate font size controls. Also option to have abbreviated/full dayname (Mon/Monday) on the 2x1 widget (which can be resized) would be nice. Android 10.
Can not change color of text in app settings on Moto G5+. Looks like they change within app but when exiting settings it reverts to default white color. Emailed developer, but no response.
Doesn't work properly with up-to-date android. Doesn't drag every time. Time sticks. Just needs an update.
It is not displaying the correct time!! Why will it not synchronize with the carrier time or just the phone time???? ...or even connect via wifi to some reliable time website???
THE BEST....Works Excellent! Has Time,Date and alarm set time displayed.Can select my own colors and size of each of them. I've seen no ads and there's no special permissions!( MY CELL PHONE IS LG G5 )
Shows correct time date etc. Please Keep it up for ever. Do not allow damage at any cost. Instead, make displaying the time/day/date further a little bit more bold/thick enough.Thanq.
Great widget. It is just about what I wanted. Thank you for the free widget. I realize that this took time to create, I think it is very generous of you to make it free. After using it a while longer, I like it even better.
I needed a small 2 x 1 size. This is perfect! It's adjustable on the screen. Play around with the colors, you will get exactly what shade you want. Each line- Day, Date, Time, & Background can be a different color and font size! I was able to completely fade the background box. So far I haven't had any problems keeping accurate information, using: Samsung A20, (pie.) Highly recommend. :)
