Still lot to do... The GPS position is offset, i try to fix the position, but no success, also, no info about the magnetic deviation... Will be nice to have distance "rings" and minimum decimal degrees The settings possibilities are very poor... Why not try to use photos overlays (exif? ) The. Pub are far too frequent I did prefer the previous design... Courage Roma was not made in one day...
Previous version was working very well. I was forced to upgrade version and new version is much worse. It is full of annoying ads and pop-ups. Compas displays correctly as in old version. If I click on map icon, it displays compas wrongly directed. If I click on weather icon application breaks.
I had bought Compass, last version 2.6.8. I did because I did not want ads. Then, suddenly they stopped running it by forcing me to "upgrading' it to this one with full of Ads. After any interaction that I do with the interface pops up advertisements. By just opening the ad, after showing the logo, another Ad... Well... I bought Compass for that reason. If you think that you going to make more money with the ads, congrats. I am not going to be a user of this App anymore.
I have to admit that Digital Compass is my favorite, most fun and useful, application that I enjoy using on my Samsung Galaxy S10+ Android phone. It sits among my most users apps on my home screen. It really showed my kids how the non digital world provides navigation, direction and position. The next best option, next to the standard handheld models. They don't need batteries though.
It's stuck in a loop. Tells me it has expired, then downloads new version which has the directions off by 45 degrees. But when I open it anew, it tells me it expired again. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but same deal.
I can turn my phone 90ish degrees and it only moves 10 degrees on the map. Maybe it's just my phone, but yikes. Google maps is more accurate, and I need precision.
pro: 1. good looking GUI 2. Not too many ads con 1 will not re-orient to "landscape" view from "portrait" view even though phone is set to autorotate screen views. (makes it difficult to use w some types of phone mounts/stands)
Full screen ads that minimise Google maps while driving. I can't imagine a more stupid and annoying thing an app I'm not even using could do. Absolute rubbish. Don't use.
Calibrated it 3 different ways, several times and it seemed to get way more accurate. Nice program. More please. I haven't figured out to change the weather readings from Celcius to Farenheit.
I'm extremely impressed with this application it has been very very successful in its operation and has done a fabulous job along with its counterparts I recommend this app for other people including their friends
This app causes random full screen pop-up ads. I had to install another app to detect which app was causing it. Unbelievable!
doesn't work, unfortunately. keels switching the position of north. weather, and other features were great.
Doesn't work without a Magnetic doo dah. Have to install before it tells you it's not compatible with your devive.
Caution, Adware! This app displays full screen apps even when not running in foreground. Everyone experiencing the same, please report this app to google play store!
love this compass, how easy it is to read. and it looks great too! built in level and plumb line on the compass screen is nice
Great! So far. I just downloaded the app and I find it simple, easy to use. It's about 95% accurate. Love the level feature too!
It's the map (not the compass) that appears to be off by 180 degrees--should be an easier fix.
so far it has all the useful features a navigational app should have and the features are layed out in an intuitive and convenient manner
Works brilliantly on my Pixel 3 Mobile. Very stable , very useful and the best I have found.
Nix the fullscreen ads! I found the app worked well but I deleted it because of the annoying ads.
Very nice compass app. Accurate too. It's a useful app, and I would (and do) recommend it to other people. Thank you to the developers for your work on this app.
Not bad for a free program but needs work. The weather thing on here crashes it. Please fix.
"north" is always the left upper corner of my phone, regardless of which way it's pointed. complwtely useless.
This app is simple to use & smooth operating on Android 10, so far, but I haven't tested it much, yet.
Shortly after installing this app, full screen ads started appearing on my Pixel 2, regardless of whether I opened the compass app. These were popping up while in other apps, or from the home screen. After closing the ad, this app was showing up in my recently used app list. I have uninstalled and since havent experienced these ads. In app ads are one thing for a free app, but this kinda thing results in an uninstall and a negative review.
