This app caused full screen ads to appear on my phone several days after I installed it. The reviews are a mixture of people complaining about this same issue and developer reviews saying how great the app is. Sneaky back door ads are not cool and only serve to undermine confidence in the play store. Since I Uninstalled this app, the ads have disappeared. Avoid.
I had to use two different ad finder apps to figure out that this is the one that was causing full screen ads to pop up on my screen during the use of literally anything else, having nothing to do whatsoever with using the app. DO NOT DOWNLOAD IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPAMMED WITH ADS WHILE USING YOUR PHONE.
Needs some adjustment or an ability to reset or calibrate some features.( ie. Sunrise/ Sunset are way off and address is off by at least 100 yards I'm at 911 your app shows 920. Allow user some input to sharpen data. I use degrees Fahrenheit and miles although I know it drives you metric people crazy. Thanks for your work!
As far as a compass app goes, I would give this 5 stars. The reason I gave this 1 star is because the ads you get from this app will completely override whatever it is you're doing. I can't begin to tell you how many times it interrupted games, shows, & even PHONE CALLS. Really is a shame to be honest, because the compass itself is top quality.
Throws full screen ads on you, even while you are not using this app. Annoying. Even when I'm using another full screen app like Google Maps, this thing just loads ads on the screen. Took a while to figure out, this app was the culprit.
Fantastic app. Has everything I need. Easy to use, works well and accurate. GPS, Lat. & Long., 7 days accurate weather , map overlay. Great app, highly recommend it. Thanks for a very good tool.
Nice featureset, good interface BUT super-lame full-screen ads when not using the app. I had to install another app to find out where they were coming from since I've never seen them before. Deal-breaker.
I really like the app. It helps out tremendously when I'm sailing in and around San Diego Ca. There are so many natural barriers around there. Unfortunately I could not plot my course with the pro version I have!
BE CAUTIOUS! SPAM APP CAUSING FULL SCREEN ADS Just installed the app and started getting full screen ads displayed sporadically time-wise i.e. without even using the app. Got me confused like anything, the ads didn't even show the app name when using app switcher button. This app should be banned from the play store.
Looks good at first, but ads are popping up unexpectedly, closing the apps you are using and you can't even shut the ad down! Ridiculous. If it wasn't for the ads, it would be a good app.
Way to many glitches, app keeps crashing. Compass keeps moving when I'm standing still. Can't set compass for a direction/destination and way too many ad pop up to be useful. Uninstall, junk app.
This app has full screen background ads. While this app is installed on your phone, you will get random full screen ads even while this app is closed. This is dreadful and feels like a breach of privacy, and I think apps that are verified to exibit this kind of behavior should be taken down.
Your app has a very intrusive and too many ads. Is very annoying.I am willing to pay for your well developed app. Do you has pay version option? If not, then i will remove from my phone. It is definately a 5 stars app but the intrusive ads really hamper the usage.
The app works fine and does the job, but after I installed it I started getting pop-up ads overlaying anything I was doing at any random time on my phone. It's taken me weeks to work out it was this app.
Terrible app, avoid at all costs. This app sends full page ads even when not in use, taking over from whatever you are using your phone phone. Avoid. There are plenty of alternatives.
This app causes intrusive full screen ads labelled "Facebook ads" appear randomly (app does not need to be open). It does not make it obvious which app is doing it, I had to do detective work. AVOID.
This is a good app for compass. But be very careful with this one. It automatically pushes ads to your phone even in lock screen. That's how they make money. Rubbish.. Very disappointed.
I am impressed! Very accurate! I also like to be able to give directions and this app makes it simple to do. I also like the different maps. All aspects are useful as well. Thanks!
Nice looking compass app and the addition of being able to overlay a map is great BUT the ads are a pain and distract from a good app. Sorry but will delet for something with minimal/no as.
Do not download on your phone unless you want random ad pop ups. I haven't downloaded a program in some months. As soon as I downloaded this I started getting random ads when I launch other programs (Google Maps, Email, Etc.). I will be reading an email and some random ad appears and takes up the entire screen. I wish there was a middle finger emoji. You have been warned
