Digital Slate

Every field is customisable except time code. Just double touch it. Time code is the device clock. Don't be a whiner, this is an awesome free app to be a slate. If you want more there are others, but as a slate this is great. Auto take change would be nice, but all you have to do is swipe. If that's too much for you, then you should just give up and go away.

Two important points. The data or time line must be 2x larger. The sound my be cute, but useless. Need a loud beep, like a microwave sound. The recorders and Mic does not hear it right now. The timer color is not bright enough and should be able to adjust it to different colors. Some camera don't see red color well. Otherwise it's a cool app. The menu when it's running don't work.

I have been searching for a clapboard on Google Play for a long time. I found this many, but this is the one that answers my prayers ~ and way better than anything else I found. It does exactly what you want a clapboard to do and in the most intuitive way (there was nothing to 'figure out'). Big thanks to the developer!

The clapper sound is not loud eneough so I purchased a blu tooth amp which connects OK to my android pad for music etc but the slate drops normal audio, shows a Blue surropund the action tab but nothing is sent to the external amp. If I now run an audio file via VLc, the music plays and I also get a clap from the slate. If I stop the audio playing I also now loose the clap. Blutooth lincage is faulty. Impossible to rotate my Pad and see the Slate rotate with it. I like the display and function but above is a problem

Works well, got confused in the beginning with the time running by it's self without stopping at all, then I understood it's the tabs clock, if all devices can be set to the exact same/correct time it works perfect, would be great if the take changed automatically every time you clap, the sound is perfect, not the stupid bing most of the others are using. Manual TC input, and whole screen flashing could be a nice addition but not a must. Will give five stars if the automatic Take changing is added.

Needed an insert slate for a tight shot and this worked great it would be helpful if takes advanced when the slate is clapped. Preset fps would be nice as a drop down Menu. And setting the input for takes as numerical only would make it more user friendly.

Love the app but every time the phone idles or I leave the app any swiped settings reset themselves which is very irritating and embarrassing when you lose your take

Works beautifully, double tap fields to edit, press and hold top left of slate to clap. Using galaxy s 10.1

TC is too small, no way how to customize the font, color or size, thin numbers over black text on 4:2:0 codecs looks bad. Thanks for sharing.

Timecode set at 29.97. Clock is arbitrary. Cannot set to own number or time of day. Take does not change automatically. No screen flash when slated.

Clap animation and sound not in sync, time code can't be changed. Uses system clock only

great I can sync with only a frame out and use all functions tested with my 744t to my 552 all good doing jobs on tablet and my phone for micro slate awesome app for free ....cheers, azasoundz [nz]

I like that it can be configured for PAL, 24fps, whatever you need. Clap sound is a bit soft, but then again, I prefer a visual cue, plus Pluraleyes.

It'd be nice if it would output time code on the headphone jack. Actually, it'd be perfect.

Does what it says it does. SIMPLE digital slate. If you gave it less then 4 stars, go f yourself, its FREE

It.s a cool app. You can edit the production the director and more except for time clock.

You need to be able remove the timecode, it is essentially useless as their is no way to sync it to camera timecode or the sound recordist.

I can use it for my own movie, without a real slate. Very usefull and worth for me

It does what it say - just wish one could set time code manually.

Good apps but option has bug when press not show on nexus 7 version 4.2

Don't know if it's just me but changing the display frame rate to 25fps doesn't change the clock - it still runs in 29.97fps mode. if this can be solved, fantastic (along with other recommendations already made} Keep going!!!

It's a very good app. You have manual control for everything - thats a great advantage!-. But it's useless if you can't jam sync it to another device! please fix this.

I love the design, just a question how do you restart the clock/timer? Everything else works like a charm.. Thank you for a cool app.
