Works great most of the time. I would give that app 5 stars but I think the "UI" could use a little more refinement & maybe more options would be nice. I have a hard time setting the alarm speed to 75 or 80 mph and I have to keep moving slider back & forth till I get my desired speed. Add a + & - in UI to make setting speed easier. Ty for a nice app
Its a decent app but there is one MAJOR flaw with it. A pop up ad will hit you WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING! Once you select the speedometer the last thing you want is to take your eyes off the road and a hand off the wheel to try to fumble with your phone and back out of some ill-timed pop up (which is next to impossible) nearly causing me to go off the road a few times. Not recommended.
This app mostly does what I need it to, perform as a more accurate speedometer when I'm out on my motorbike, but every now and then during a ride it'll change orientation from landscape view in full-screen to profile view (so sideways) in the minimized view OR it'll flip my speed reading upside down which is incredibly unhelpful and it can't be fixed without stopping and even having to remove my gloves.
that's what I needed to do was check my speed on my old homemade bike and it works fine I like how I could change it to where it's easier to see at night. UPDATE -it is now been a few months that I've been using this and so far so good the only thing I don't like is that it randomly turns sideways by itself even when I have auto rotate off it's really frustrating and annoying when you're going down the road at 40 miles an hour and it just turned sideways randomly or it flips inverted
This is the 3rd app I've used since my speedo died in my truck. The placement on my dash allows me to see my speed without taking my eyes off of road. I was paced by NM State Patrol at 65mph and it was a perfect match. This is by far the best I've found. No apparent bugs. It's time to lose the ads. Thank you to the developer for a great product.
So far, thus app works really well. I jist wish there was a way to be more accurate than the readings I've gotten. It's tracked my highest speed but not once did I see that very speed read on the gauge. Great app but could use a little tighter accuracy
Works like a charm. I got this app mainly to use the alert so that I don't go over the speed limit, as I am prone to doing. The alert sounds faithfully whenever I reach the designated speed that I set. The GPS is accurate to within about 2 mph, depending on how fast I am going.
Great app,especially when one's speedometer has stopped working in his truck(semi) that is. I've run it against my Garmin Desl760 truckers GPS and it's very accurate to 1/10 mph. The only improvements I could say would make this better is the ability to stop your route and then continue. Otherwise it starts from 0 all over again. I like to see how many miles over covered for my daily run. The odometer doesn't work either amongst other things. It's an old truck, '92 Freightliner.
I'm happy. It does what it says it does and has some nice features and I like having 10th of kilometers and miles per hour. Sometimes it takes a little while to start up GPS and get a reading, but perhaps that's normal for a phone's GPS. Thanks
There is only 2 things i don't like about this. One is there is no pause abilty and two is the time always seems to be wrong when comparing to phone time. It does not drain battery and speed and distance functions work very well.
1st time user.pretty accurate will be making habit of turning on every time I drive. I appreciate all the stats it calculates; Time, distance and averages can really help on trips of any sort. Thank you for the a no Hassel easy to use app... So far so good!
Yeah, the app works good. It does what it says it does. I just wish that it had a widget so that I don't have to stay in the app while driving. And I also wish that there was a way you could export your trips so that you have a ledger or a document that shows how far you drove. Other than that I really like the app.
Nice app when speedometer is broken and you want to play it safe. Update 2/07/2022 This app is perfect and works flawlessly to give you accurate speed and time spent behind wheel. What more could you ask for! Thank you for the easy to use app as my 1995 Ford Taurus GL wagon speedometer likes to bounce at speeds over 45 MPH. Nice app 👍
So far this is the best speedometer app I've tried. The other two apps petered out over time. This one though seems dependable and is easy to use. I also like the font and the layout. The choice of colors is cool too. So I've had this app for a while now and even though I have switched carriers it still performs like a charm. Keep up on the good work you guys.
Used for a low speed operation. One of the few apps that displays .1 mph. Seems to be sensitive to signal strength.
Very easy to use and seems to be pretty accurate. Would be better without the ads as they usually come on when you first start the app.
Actuality, I tried several and I really like this one the best. This is only a replacement until I can get a speedometer in my car. One I like about this is it does not going you with ads. I can load it several times without an ad and then one short one pops up. After that, it's back to business. I'm recommending it.
EDIT: adds take over the screen when it thinks you're not driving... Simple message to pass along. it's a good speedometer as far as that goes.#1 problem with this app and the rest like it... don't have ads that take over the entire screen and make you wait 10 sec to close them out! people are using/depending on this app while driving! it's not safe and there has to be a better way to advertise than when I'm trying to merge with traffic and trying to make sure I'm going the right speed...
This is a great app. It is clear and, for the most part, really well laid out. It is one of the best around. My reason for only 4 stars is two-fold. It's a shame that the compass is only portrait. I use the app on a small tablet mounted landscape in my car, so a portrait compass is useless. Second, when I went to consider buying it by removing the ads I was faced with an agreement about charges but so indication of how much. I cancelled at that point losing you a sale.
It seems like it is a little bit too complicated could have been simpler without losing any features. Maps capability is an added bonus, I haven't tried offline mode yet but first time I've seen this feature in a speedometer app. You guys will get 5th Star from me if you can come up with a way to make the navigation of your app simpler like for example the first menu that pops up when you first open the app 1
I'm really happy with this app. I've needed something like this for a while simply because I can't see the speedo clearly on my dashboard because the steering wheel blocks my view! I use this app on a spare phone positioned on a screen mount where I can clearly see it. I haven't spent too much time exploring all of its features because all I needed was a clear visual reference to the speed I'm doing which this app does very well. Very simple to use, open app, select full screen and that's it.
I like that you can use maps and speedometer together. It's a great app and I haven't noticed the adds like the last speedometer app I had that every time you stopped at a traffic signal it would change to adds. Also when I begin a trip I just click the start button and choose a display option and go. Simple. Thanks to you who make it great!
Easy to read display but at the end of my trip I found the top speed recorded was wildly inaccurate. Said my top speed was 130km/h which I know I came no where near hitting as i am riding a Honda grom 125cc motorcycle and the top speed is about 95km/h.
It has little that I am using and it is easy to install, open the program on the phone and it is not bad at all, since my car does not work with the factory one
After 2 days of use it Seems to be ok. It starts up pretty quick whether you have service or not. Easily visible display. Already liking it more than the last one I tried. Ill re-evaluate in another week or so when I have used it more. Updated to 4star: it's been some time now and I'm very satisfied with this app. The only improvement I can think of is if there was a way it could store a cumulative trip odometer that didn't reset as soon as you hit stop.
