Diner dash has for years been one of my favorite games. This rendition, however, needs some reworking. The challenge is definitely there and the levels are entertaining, but the gameplay suffers because the app frequently crashes in the middle of levels. Worse, when it crashes, you do not get back any upgrades or energy you were using, so I would caution not using in app purchases because you may very well waste your money. Also, you only get 3 energy to use and it takes 30 minutes for each energy to refill, which means you really can only play for a few minutes at a time. The game does offer plenty of special events, though. All in all, an ok version but with frustrating performance issues.

Grr. I really like the actual game and I used to love playing it on my PC back when, but this new rendition is riddled with issues. 1- C'mon with the energy situation. You can basically play for about ten minutes at a time before you run out, no matter whether you win or lose. Ridiculous. If you keep winning, you should be able to keep going--like every other game! 2- Ads. So. Many. Effing. Ads. It's non-stop. Can I just pay $4.99 for a game without endless ads? 3-- Earning "dinero" is impossible unless you drop endless money. So much of the game feels like a money grab, it takes away from the fun. 4- It's glitchy. I have to restart it all the time.

Diner Dash has always been an oddly addictive kind of game, so I was excited to find a free mobile version, however, I was a little disappointed to find out it's definitely more "freemium". Levels can be nearly impossible to pass without in-game cash for necessary upgrades. There isn't even a single set of decor that doesn't require you to spend some in-game dollars, not even the basic set that provides zero perks beyond looking different. It can be fun, but you can only play free to an extent.

1. 3 lives isn't enough especially with the glitches and levels of extreme difficulty 2. Level difficulty is not at all constant. I understand that the game should increase the challenge and you progress but I shouldn't lose in the first 30 seconds to replay the same level and have little to no issues. It appears to me that you just want us to buy our way through by wasting lives and buying more. 3. We don't earn enough "dinero" playing levels to afford the upgrades required to beat some levels so again you're fishing for cash. Think of the users. 4. The game is fun when it plays as it should but when it doesn't it honestly pushes you to uninstall. This isn't my first run at the game.

Fun game but it sends you notifications every 5 minutes and when it does my phone vibrates rapidly and at a sporadic tempo for a solid 2 minutes straight--badly enough and long enough to wake me up at night. As far as I can tell, there's no way to turn this feature off. Game's fun, but the notifications are annoying enough when I'm awake. To actually wake me up at night? Ridiculous! Uninstalled!

The game is okay, but sometimes the levels can get overwhelming and confusing. It just doesn't seem to have a very good flow overall. The notifications also seem to be buggy, as I will get the same notification continuously back to back for several minutes. This will make my phone constantly go off, and didn't stop until I turned off notifications for this game completely.

Personally, ive always loved Diner Dash since I was a kid. But this app needs some work. Every other time I open it, its stuck on a black screen. And when it doesn't do that, it crashes during game play. Sometimes, it plays fine and then I run out of energy and can't play for a while. I'd suggest fixing whatever bug keeps me from playing 50% of the time and bump that 3 energy to a five, at least. Or add in some game mechanics that let me earn free energy.

I loved playing diner dash when it first came out even had it on my computer so I was more than happy when I found the app, but there is no option to buy the app, which kind of forces you to do in-app purchasing for items needed to complete levels. Also you run out of energy when you win a level or lose, which also forces you to buy energy or wait. The app itself runs smoothly (minus the waiting)and no glitches on my phone.

This is my favorite game ever. I prefer it over any of the other diner dash games or just over any mobile game in general. I can spend hours playing this and its totally worth a few bucks every now and then. Levels are the right difficulty and it's very addicting. I just wish they would update it with new levels. I've beat all levels with perfect scores each level. I keep checking for new updates but it's been years. Very disappointing, they could be making a lot more money.

I downloaded it long ago and it was fun. However I tried to reinstall it recently and could not even log in the game. The front page was all black for me and I couldn't even go further than that. I have tried it several times, have deleted and reinstalled the game both in wifi and non-wifi connected places, but the problem still remains. Please fix it because I am looking forward to play it again.

so many glitches. the sound effects for the character that runs away dont stop a lot of times. too many ads and not enough energy to keep playing as much as you want. i used to love diner dash a while ago but i dont like what it has become. some levels are just plain gimicky just to get you to upgrade the items in your store. everything costs so much dinero and it is almost impossible to get more.

Dar. H. Oct 26, 2018

Really fun game to kill time. Every level is different and pretty challenging. However. It gives you three energy an hour roughly. The game crashes every time it's played and end up losing at least one of those energy. No big deal since it's just a game but quite annoying since it's every single time the game is opened.

Ale. S. Sep 14, 2018

It's fun but I hate only having a few energy. I want to keep playing and not have to wait for the next energy! The computer version wasn't like that. Also I hate that it's so hard to get dinero without paying real money for it. Yet in order to get the stuff I kinda need, I have to have dinero. It's frustrating. I dont wanna have to pay money for dinero when I already have to watch ads. :/ the game is fun but it's frustrating. ...and the boosts cost too much. They should use coins instead of dinero so i dont have to pay real money for dinero just to use a boost

I loved the old diner dash back in the day. Each level allowed you to customize your restaurant for free from scratch. Much more fun than just making new challenging customers happy. I see where they are trying to make money but there is a lack of motivation created here. They could have very cool items for sale for real money and in game coins if people wanted boosts and really amazing items that look good.

Ash. T. Oct 2, 2018

Not really fair play..... you only get so many chances to complete your mission unless you're willing to break out your wallet and pay or you have to wait it out I'd say sometimes 30 mins. It's a fun game don't get me wrong but you can't really complete the challenges if your not equipped and it's pricy to buy the extra upgrades you need to complete the level. I mean you can beat the level without the upgrades but boy do they make almost impossible at times to do.... It has it's glitches at times but overall not a bad game, I loved the old 🏫 that's why I wanted try try this one out....I'll hang onto to for a bit because I'm already towards the end of the first store..

Via. Sep 24, 2018

I've loved this game ever since it first came out. But now I like it because the app keeps keeps crashing in the middle of a game. That means you lose your life, that you waited over 20 mins to obtain or had purchase. It's the most annoying thing!! Then you'd get a push notification about events happening in the game but when you open the app, there's no current on going events. Again, it's the most annoying thing!

Bev. O. Jan 14, 2019

been a fan of the game since the creation and have always loved it. but the constant vibrating after you exit the game gets old. the low energy is ridiculous. you cant buy pretty much anything to help you get through the levels because everything costs dinero and sometimes the levels are too ridiculously difficult which I feel is a part of the game to get you to buy stuff. go back to original diner dash or do better

Ali. W. Sep 25, 2018

The game is addictive and a lot of fun. The only problem is sometimes it freezes and then crashes. Either the screen goes black or it just kicks me out the game. I then lose an energy to play the game, which is annoying if I bought more with the in game money. Please fix the bugs! As I love this game!

Mar. H. Feb 12, 2019

Very addictive game. I love how they have free energy sometimes. The only problem with the game is ounce you get to the rocket diner to lvl 81 it is impossible to win without a divert-o so you have to spend a lot of time or money to pass that level so you can get the dinero to purchase one. the prize boxes are cheaper but I have already used it 2 different times and still haven't gotten a divert-o to beat the level. One of the prizes I got from the box literally does nothing. Cant play w/out pay!

I love diner dash, always been a fan for a very long time. I don't like though how you spend money for in app upgrades especially when you're about to go to another restaurant and none of the upgrades carry over. Level 179 is set up so that you have to have the upgrades and a lot of them in order to beat the level but I refuse to drop anymore real money into the game only for me to advance to the next restaurant and have to start from scratch again. Sorry diner dash you have to go 😔

bob. f. Oct 18, 2018

As someone who has played the first diner dash on PC, I enjoyed the mobile version. But not as much. Half the fun of Flo's dinner is that you could customize the diner, and Flo by making extra cash in the game. This game is all about in app purchasing and that takes the fun out of it. And even the items you don't have to buy with real money you can hardly get from just playing and winning the game. They set the bar way too high.

All. K. Nov 14, 2018

Fun game, love the simplicity of it and options for achievements to earn extra cash. An annoying glitch occurred with the push notifications one day that made my phone buzz incessantly. There are no options for push notifications in the app, but if you go into your phone settings and turn off app permissions for notifications it fixes the problem!

Ama. L. Oct 14, 2018

I love diner dash, been playing for years. But their phone games disappoint. Only getting 3 energy with a 30 minute respawn is just ridiculous. The in app purchases are expensive. I spend money on these games, but I'm not buying a $20 piece of in game equipment. The games are always crashing, conveniently on levels where I make purchases. Purchased/earned Dinero hasn't been awarded twice, with no customer service response. Another of their games had to be uninstalled after a week because I kept getting notifications that it crashed from the background. Get it together here, Glu.

Har. R. Mar 7, 2019

The start of the game is quite fun but later levels are designed to be very difficult to pass without powerups. The in game items are very expensive to buy and the game seems to give you no way of earning them, nor much of a way to earn any power ups or extra items that are likely to be needed to pass the later levels. after the first 30 - 40 levels it becomes very obivious that everything is funnelling you down the spend a lot of money to pass route.

Beware Android Users, I have the SAMSUNG J7. I've always played this game. for years, I tried downloading this game about a year ago,... maybe a little less then a year ago and it won't load. it will literally stay black... that's it. I've tried leaving it there to see if MAYBE, just maybe it was loading slowly but, it wasn't. I have super fast internet and it won't load up. please, please, please fix. I want to continue my game progress. I have a lot of things already on my map and upgrades.

game is fun and challenging but I have 2 complaints. the first is that I hate the number of notifications sent. I get more notifications from this game than all my other apps combined (including social media, phone calls and texts). Also not a fan of crashing of the app. You only get 3 chances to play before having to wait 30 mins to play again which would be fine within itself if the crashing didnt cause the game to shut down completely mid level and then not be able play for 30 mins

Sof. C. S. Dec 31, 2018

I found out this game is only supported by selected devices, which takes away one star. Ever since I bought a new cellphone, I can play it with no issues. The only details I find a little annoying are the small amount of energy given and their regeneration time, and the app sometimes crashes unexpectedly.
