Developers need to allow offers to be printed more than once. I lost an offer and had to pay full price because my printer didn't work and then we couldn't pull the coupon back up on my phone to use it. Printer issues happen all the time, so your app needs to be more forgiving for that. Happened again tonight because your Print button doesn't work. Luckily I took a screenshot of the coupon first and the merchant agreed to take that. Shouldn't be so much work, though.
One would think that an app or program from Entertainment Company, which has been around and dominating the game for so many years, would be stellar. Unfortunately, however, this app is lacking in so many ways. First, on the app itself. Credits which have been which have been either used or expired over three years ago in 2018 are still appearing in my credits list. Sure, they are dimmed, but their value is 0, so get rid of them. No brainer. I have so many other issues, but I'm limited at 500.
The app works but its' design is questionable in some parts. The search functionality is limited (why request GPS permissions and then not use them?); the link for code redemption brought me to the website not the app; it has permissions to GPS and microphone (not sure why) and full network access (which is disturbing). App is sluggish (probably from loading graphics). Deals displayed should be in order of number purchased or should at least be a sort option. Login flow is counterintuitive.
This isn't a review of your product I don't have room here for that. No, this is a review of the app. It's basically another version of the website that runs worse. There is absolutely no reason to have this app. I have credits so i used my web browser to add a shortcut to the homescreen for this app. Most browsers have that option so give it a try instead of this. This app is slower & glitchy and the only thing it offers above the website is taking up memory on your device...
This app is garbage, don't waste your time. It's not even worth it for free. Update based on the reply from the developer below. Agreed, it would be great if you could actually GET to those offers. The problem is that the location setting doesn't work on the app and when I search on a restaurant name it pulls back results for Troy, MI even though I live in Raleigh, NC....so not very helpful. That only leaves searching by zip code which pulls back way too many results (which aren't ordered by distance) to make it feasible to find what you're actually looking for. Then when you try to apply a cuisine filter to these results, you're back in Troy, MI land. So, like I said originally, this app is garbage. Downgrading my review to 1 star now.
this app is just very finicky. so many gitches, it works half the time but when it does work its an okay app, i only use it to purchase coupons when i see a good deal for restaurants near me, but i only with there where more coupons in to chose from because it easily find coupons for restaurants the next state over once i start finding good ones, and i cant use the coupon for another location of the same chain restaurant only because its meant to be used at specific locations only.
Update: 12/16/18: gift card balance just disappeared. Was going to try and use again but gift card is g ok be. Scam company! AVOID! App is clumsy and glitchy. I honestly would not feel comfortable giving out my credit card info on it. Used my free credit from T-Mobile and I still think it's worthless. Few good deals you can only use once. Mostly dumb deals from your local paper that you'd have to pay for. Definitely has ways to go.
The app was working perfect then all of a sudden it stopped recognizing my email and there's an error when I go to my account. I lost all the ones I saved and now they are gone. No one can contact customer service for help and the they keep providing the same response to everybody's complaint which is not solving anything.
I had a slight issue after the update logging in but all I had to do was reset my password. my credits are still there. I like the older version better though because it had offers outside of just dining which I found more useful than the dining ones. ( AC Moore, Barnes and Nobles, Massages Etc.) the new update only features dining coupons and I dont eat out often enough to use. good thing my credits dont expire for 2 years because I might not get to use them :)
I like many others can no longer access my account after the upgrade. I found it interesting that the holding company responds to comments and reviews but not the ones since the upgrade regarding the loss. Please explain what happened and if there is any chance of a fix or if all is lost. i did enjoy the app before.
Apparently this app has ficticious discounts in their options. Stopped by a local bbq spot with a BOGO menu item and the shop never signed up for anything of the sort. Recommend to call ahead and see if the discounts or deals are actually real. Otherwise the deals are decent.
The app no longer works properly since they updayed their website. 2/3rds of the app no linger work at all, just lead to a broken link. Not to mention their site update deleted my entire account. I can no longer login, and if i try to reset my password, it says my sccount doesnt exist. The coupons weren't really any good, the only reason i used it was because of T-Mobile Tuesdays free coupons, but having my account deleted for no reason is absolutely unnacceptable.
App used to work fine before the update. Now I am unable to sign in and the 'forgot password' option doesnt even recognize my email address. Unfortunate because I never had issues redeeming offers and I still had plenty of them on my account.
Beware of this site. I clicked on the coupon/ offer that I had chosen and it stated I could either print the coupon or I could display it on my phone. I clicked display to just view the image of the coupon on my desktop and then I hit done to exit the screen. Soon after I realized the coupon disappeared and showed as reedemed on July 13th. I never even went to the restaurant and as a result I am out $9. I have emailed customer service and hope they reinstate the coupon.
Ignore the fact that it promotes itself as their "new app." This app was loaded up on here 2 years ago and they haven't even bothered to update it since. Pay $2, to get $5 off bagles, with a purchase of $25 worth of bagles. So you save $3 if you buy 2 dozen bagles or you invite a group of friends for breakfast, where you would have to juggle using this app to save just $3, but purchase the deal for $2 first! The free coupons in the mail are 2 to 3 times better. Most deals are this ridiculous.
This app always closes on me and when I try to look at the promotions it never loads. When I hit the back button, it closes the app. Im always having to input my zip code. Even when the location is on. Uninstalling.
Absolute garbage! Your just paying for coupons which aren't even some amazing deals! You can literally get coupons out of the mail or Google better coupons than these! Didn't understand how the hell it worked at 1st but once I did, I was done! WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS APP! U will deeply regret it!!
My $50 credit is on this app and I can't log in!! My password is not working since the so called updated app and the reset password link is not sending to my email. I feel frustrated that I can't get into my account.
I have had both great experiences and a shady one with the vendors coupon. I would recommend contacting vendor prior to purchasing to ensure there involvement with this program. No Refunds or Credits!!
App is absolute garbage. To clarify, this has nothing to do with the Dining Advantage service. The app is basically just a portal to a mobile website, and to be honest, should just be replaced by a mobile website.
They just updated the experience and now my previous profile with all my discounts are gone! i can't find a way to contact them for help restoring it. Not happy with lack of customer service.
Scam! Beware! Bought coupon for restaurant, when I tried to use it, owner of restaurant claimed he never heard of it & never signed up. Bought coupon for national book store chain, tried to use it, Dining Advantage site said "offer not recognized." Had to pay full price. After back & forth with Dining Advantage customer service was told they changed discounts & refunded me $2. STAY AWAY. THEN... after I posted review, app responded I should provide detail of issue. HA... I DID THAT ALREADY. SCAM
i had about 30 dillars in coupons that were bought with a promotion that TMobile gave to me for 20 dollars plus i bought extra coupons with my own money and dining advantage "changed their platform" bevause of a falling out with tmobile and didnt merge my account. so i am out all those coupons and money. it was dirty and underhanded and i reported to attorney general
Need to adjust where pop up windows are viewed. I couldn't figure out how to redeem my coupon until i discovered it was hidden behind my navigation bar. Wasted a few dollars
UPDATE- Dining Advantage contacted me, gave me a credit to restore the account with an apology 6/18/2017. There are a cheating company! I have $20 dollars in credit that does not expire until 12/2020, yet it suddenly doesn't recognize my email and wont send me a link to change my password. And you cannot contact customer service! DONT USE THEM!
I went to open the app to redeem an offer only to find that my account info is no longer recognized! Lost all the offers that were bought! Same thing happened with my husband.
The app was working great until recently when it states my username and password is not located. I had been using it for a few years with no issues.
I was now able to log in after your resent fix. and creat a new password. but now everything is missing from my account. no coupons. 6/18/19. and today i tried again and now I can not log in at all 6/19/19.
Not worth the hassle. Login stopped working; new password didn't work - uninstalled - bye bye. I guess it was ok when it worked.
A map would be great and better search and filtering would be awesome. I noticed the app takes a long long time to load a list and I'm thinking it's part of the strategy to frustrate customers who get these "gift cards" from wherever. Like others have stated, I wouldn't be using this app if it weren't for some free credits from somewhere.
