Nice and simple... I usually make mine into bullets for easier review (simple enough to do oneself), but I'd love if there were a way to either review or download each day of logs. The app works perfectly for my purposes right now, but if working with a nutritionist or something, being able to send the info for a day, a week, etc would be a huge assist, even if it were just some kind of full-day review screen that I could screen shot. Otherwise, no complaints, aside from the annoying adds😉

It's an ok app but missing important features. I like the calendar view and the graphic ability to log caffee/water cups. Don't like that a photo has to be saved on the device to be added to the app, but what I disliked the most is that there's basically one note per category per day, so all snacks go into the same box regardless of the time of the day. I'd rather be able to add several activities of the same category and even organize them by time (there is no time for the activities)

It's minimalist, easy to use and allows you to key in your meals in detail and the app is organized by each day. But the drawbacks are: 1) sometimes you can't save an entry, not sure why. I wonder if it's the word count, coz when I cut some words, suddenly I can save it again. 2) you can't enter more than one meal (what if I had three snacks?). 3) you can't key in the time of each meal

Nice and easy to use. I'm actually able to develop a habit of using it I would absolutely pay for the no ads and color change feature (though the black is already very nice). I only wish there was a setting to see the stats on a graph and see everything including pictures at a glance to show my doctor for example without them having to click through everything. Great app!

Worked great until I paid for it. I was so happy with its simplicity, I thought I'd throw the three bucks to whoever made the app. Big mistake! As soon as I did it gets all buggie. It sometimes works right and other times not. I contacted support and no response. I guess they never expected anyone to pay for it, so they never made sure it worked right. Just use the free version.

This app is very clean and user friendly, but as I cannot export the data, I feel like it's a waste of time using it. It has a lot of potential, but some adjustments must be made. 1 - when you delete an activity, everything else dissapear (temporary). You need to click on another day and come back to update it. 2 - you cannot choose the sequence of your activities, such as snack and exercise. 3 - you cannot split the snack or duplicate the entry. Everything needs to go in one block.

Exactly what i wanted in a food journal app! Since struggling with EDs in the past, i wanted to avoid apps that involved calorie counting, but still wanted to practice mindfulness about what i ate and drank. I essentially was looking for the equivalent of a Notes app but with a calendar aspect, and one that i could specifically devote to food only. This app is perfect for doing that. No shame, no guilt, no guidance, just a simple space to record your food and drink. It's the bee's knees. :-)

In theory, it's a good app. You get to enter your own foods instead of selecting from a list of pre-entered foods, giving you the option to enter exactly what you ate and drank during the day. I have been using it for less than 2 hours and am already experiencing problems. I attempted to make entries, only to not have them saved. I think I will uninstall it and go back to pencil and paper journaling.

I just recently downloaded this app and tried to use it. I pressed the + sign, went to 'breakfast' and began writing. Once I was done I pressed the check mark and nothing happened; I turned off my phone, open and closed the app, but still I had the same issue. I love how simple the interface is and it looks great, it's disappointing to see, unfortunately had to uninstall.

Love the app, exactly what I was looking for although frustrated that I paid for the upgraded version only to realize that when I deleted/redownload the app it makes me pay for it again. Also, I wish there was a way to more easily navigate the days. Going back to look at what you ate a week or two ago takes lots of tapping. 4/30/20 I want to amend part of my review. I figured out that by clicking 'upgrade' in settings automatically upgraded w/o making me pay a second time. 😊

I would agree with the reviews here making positive suggestions for improvements. Others have remarked that in some cases they are not able to save an entry or the app appears to have frozen. I have found that these issues seem to arise whenever I use an apostrophe in my entry. I think this is a data base issue which the developer should be able to fix. My suggestion for the moment: don't use apostrophes in your entries (not to say there won't be other causes for similar problems).

The app is good, but it would be even better if one doesn't have to write all over again entries that are completely the same as some of the previous. For example, one writes the first 3 letters and the app suggests the full entry that has been there before. Also the notifications and time entry would be great!

I wanted a simple and easy use app to record what food I eat and this seemed to fit the bill. However, apparently, each entry is limited by very small character count (less than 2 lines) without any indication of what the limit actually is. I couldn't save my first entry until I reduced the amount of text within it. This app does not fit my needs. I would like to record brand names of the items I eat, but I can't do that with this app, even if I shorten words (such as "guac" for guacamole).

Pleeeease add an option to export-import data so we can carry this over to a new phone! (I know I'm saving for one this year) 'Loving the simplicity and bought premium. It's all I need to review what meals I've had before so I can plan to make more of them in bulk. Otherwise, I'd write stuff in a calendar, but who carries that around.

Not very well made. first of all it's full screen for no reason makes it difficult to get out of the application when you want to. Secondly, entering meals let's you put in as many lines as you want as long as it's four or less. 5 lines? Yeah no sorry you can only eat four things apparently. Try a different app.

I love the simplicity of this app. It doesnt try to make you guess or stick to a number of carbs, proteins etc. It just helps you understand what you are eating and how you might adjust to attain goals without overcomplication. Love it. I read a reviewer mention drinks should be logged with meals but i disagree since i want to see all drinks together to be sure im meeting hydration goals

I do wish there were stats for water and coffee. And I wish there was a little rating system for how much you ate, like a little number slider that you could also see in the calendar view. Also it would be nice to have some more customization abilities like changing coffee to soda and drinking to desert. Otherwise it's pretty helpful for non triggering Ed recovery

I wanted to try a free text food diary, but this is definitely not the one. They display ads right where the back button is for Samsung S20 Ultra so you just end up hitting ads. I actually struggled to get rid of the ad too, it finally worked by pressing the back button a few times. Crazy User Interface. No thanks. Uninstalled.
