Worst app I've used in a while The functionality is appalling - child entries defer to infant and then won't accept details, because they aren't infants. The app refuses to accept accurate information and sends an error message. There in no way to "go back" and edit. Bloody awful.
very buggy. often struggles to open. Does not remember your settings meaning each new search requires laboriously re-entering car details. New update has bug which does not allow multiple passengers with same age to be entered. Desk top website better.
Latest version unusable for me. No routes show in route finder despite entering correct name. Clicking on field for return date makes you reselect departure date and time first. Can't believe they went live with this!
Worst, third world service. I spent 100 pounds on an unexisting booking, and they stole my money, then they offered me an expired voucher that I could not redeem. I managed to contact them, awfully hard thing, and they steered me from left to right just to avoid giving me my money back which their system faultly took from my account offering me a false ticket that was not available to book to begin with. Worst company ever. You can't find customer service, and when you do, they lie and cheat.
mediocre app. I can't remember now whether I booked on the website or through the app, but make sure you note down your reference number. I never received a confirmation email, although I tried to have it resent several times. with the reference no. I can retrieve my booking, though.
This app is horrible. Go to Irish Ferries directly. DF double charged me. They messed up the dates I entered for my crossing. THEN charged me an amendment fee, they also charged me a second amendment fee 2 days AFTER my crossing to ireland!!! DO NOT USE THIS APP. they only thing they are good for is times.
the app is normal. their system and their service is just bad. I recommend not to use them quite strongly. use only their search function.
Trying to enter passangwr birth dates - need to scroll back through the months on a calendar. Scrolling back over 50 years for two people is ridiculous. And, also could not enter my car details as it was not on the list, nor any option for "other".
Terrible customer service, to be avoided like the plague. I lost a return ticket because they were unable to amend it in time.
Useless if you are a foot passenger or travelling with a bicycle. Sometimes you can't even select the option & when you can it just tells you that the operator does not support this vehicle type.
Using legal loophole the company scammed my family and ruined our vacation. I wasn't able to cancel my tickets and get my money back 1 month prior the ticket date. They usually don't answer emails unless you report them to the authorities. Worst service ever.
As someone else has commented doesn't allow foot passenger bookings on routes which DO carry foot passengers - Hull/Rotterdam/Zeebrugge for example. After recent update simply doesn't work. Suggest uninstall & use P&O website!
I got 40 € stolen by this company. They haven't confirmed my ticket yet they took my money, my ferry was supposed to be today. I tried to get a refund but they say they are still processing the request (after 5 days). Do not download this app as this is pure fraud.
The website it's much better App doesn't always work, it takes more time to select filters and does not save them.
Useless for ammending bookings. You have to wait more than 2 days to get a confirmation. You cannot contact the customer service from the app as they don't provide an online chat or a phone number. Useless!!!
Awful app. Filled in everything, submitted for payment and was sent to the beginning again. This happened 4 times. Will book on the website
Help. Tried to re book a ferry today using my credit. Took ages tried and put in voucher number said didnt recognise'? Was told it would be the same cancelled ref number. No way at all to contact you. Phone no one taking calls. No where to e mail you. Please please tell me what Ican do.i cant afford to lose the money and need to get back to the uk. When putting in on my account says I travelled .I didnt spoke to a Tomas on phone in March then he sent me a conformation e mail saying credit help
I cannot choose to buy a ticket without selecting a vehicle, bike etc. why? it so dump thing and the currency won't change to other than £!
doesn't allow me to book foot passengers, when it is actually possible on that route. Cannot change currency to Euro.

Due to the fact that lots of people will now be redeeming their vouchers, Direct Ferries' prices are a lot more expensive than the ferry operator's website. For example The ticket that I want is £30 more expensive than on dfds. I'm going to report them to the CMA, Trading Standards and Action Fraud.
The app does not recognise my emails address. I booked a ticket online and the app doesn't recognise it.
Stopped working; now refuses to open, just constantly stays on logo screen.
1 Car models don't match up with make. 2 No pop up to show sailing times of boats at each port..app asks the client which time their sailing ? Huh ? Duuuuuh
dreadful and not able to login and see booking. keep away from this app.
Rubbish app, no option to enter a van and no option to enter residents discount.

Dose not even open...even after loading it 3 times
The app is rubbish, everytime i go to the contact page it comes up with an error message. Can't redeem my voucher, tried to re book a ferry and its taken money but went to time out on the app so no confirmation email. I am trying to get in contact but can't. Please someone sort it out!!!!!!!
