Won't let me turn off direct Tv box will do everything else
Just have to make sure that the device is logged in under the same main network. Will not work when logged in under guest or any other network than the main Direct TV network in your home.
My kids misplaced the remote so I downloaded this and I didn't miss a beat...
Only remote out of 9 i download that actually worked. Have been very satisfied so far!

I can't get this to work with my new DirecTv system.
After the update my Genie is missing. It finds the HR24 & HR22 only. Also none of the channeks in app will display programing, only says "no info found". This app used to work flawlessly! Previous version didn't work at all!
This app works better and faster than the physical remote. I only have two minor issues: I wish the remote and favorite channels were on the same screen instead of having to back out from one to select the other. I think that when you add a favorite channel the list should reorder itself by channel number.
This worked nicely before the update. Now it sees my devices but won't control them. Plus the update wiped out all my favorite channels. Lastly, the device selection is confusing. What's the difference between the check mark and highlighting the 'K'?
Great app, I use it with my Nexus 7 (2013) and LHR22 HD DVR
The receivers aren't showing up at all, I tried looking on the receiver for the IP address, but it wasn't there. We have WiFi..
Basic help offered but, unrelated to specific problems I was having. I scanned for devices & picked up 1 out of 4. Volume button doesn't work. You need to have the direct tv remote next to u if u want to use volume control. Uninstalling
I've been amazed by these apps since the day I lost my remote & came across a DirecTV remote app. They all pretty much do the same thing but this one was the 1st to find my device on its own &IMO it looks better. Thanks for the great free app!
Like the ability to control ALL DVRs simultaneously. Like the ability to program favs list from remote but would prefer Each DVR to have its own list. The actual remote is better than one pictured but I prefer a black background, qwerty kb and a shortcut to the favs list. It does compliment the other IP remotes so I'll keep it and hope. What's with all the negative reviews? Need To "allow" external device access and set Static IP address for each device to allow reliability and ease of discovery.
Can't find receivers. Has no tv control like dtv remote. Need to have remote near to change volume and turn on/off. Whats the point of this spp. This is third app I have tried. All three have failed.
People saying it doesn't work need to realize both your box and your phone need to be connected to the internet via the same WiFi.
Love the favorite list. This approach is great. Would be cool to be able to organize the favorites but not that big of a deal. I overall great!
The layout is funky, bit it scans for receivers in the background which is nice.

Good but not great. Didn't discover HR20. Enter IP address and it still won't work. Works on other HR2x tho.
Half these morons haven't configured their home networks first and think this is an infrared remote. It's a network remote, configure that first.
Will not scan for any devices. Manually entered both HR DVR's and nothing. Help lacking for troubleshooting and web site, NO support whatsoever. App has potential if it scanned. Droid Razr 2.3.5
