Actually it is a dealer only tool. I agree but when you buy the remote start it give you a one time free license code for the vehicle I was working on.
This app is DEALER only accessible, installation technicians email and password must be added to dealer account for access to features and support.
Dealer accessible only. Don't buy if you are not a dealer.

It is a invaluable tool needed almost for every from alarms to Audio, from Amps yup advance wiring problems.
Don't buy their products, the only way to access wiring data is to become a dealer.
Access is now blocked unless you are a dealer. Check out idatalink products instead of Directed.

Cannot log in to direct wire. Useless
Works great on iPhone, last update update I received on my tablet has been buggy. Issues with not pulling up firmwares, k2g issues, and now its stuck on error report and it bugs out and closes.
Exactly what a installer need.
Will not flash any firmware.

This app no longer allows me to log in to my account which you have to do to use this app. It says "server error". The one time that I was able to use it to flash a module, it didn't even flash it with the correct features that I selected enabled. This app is a wonderful tool if it worked properly but it needs a lot of work.
I do anywhere from 5 to 10 remote starts a week. This an the xkl3 is invaluable. From replacing my bitwriter (95% of the time) to simply flashing a dball on the spot i can only speak volumes about it. The few cars that won't power up the xkl3 i just walk out to my car and use its obd port.
App crashes every time I try to do the 2nd part of the programming for Key2Go.
Good app but the XL202 programming section won't load remotes for some reason... have to use the online programmer on a PC to flash them.

The app is ok but there are a few things that are a little irksome. First we should be able to zoom in on photos in directwire using it on a tablet is not so bad but on a phone the images are quite often to hard to make out the important details. Second, they should have links to the techdocs listed in direct wire or show the pertinent information right in the window. Lastly the back button should be connected to the Android back button like every other app, very frustrating that it doesn't work.
After I've closed the app, the icon in the top left corner will not go away. Only started happening after i did the update. It does go away when i restart my phone. And having to sign in every time gets annoying too. Other then that, its a great app
Makes you log in every time, crashes in the middle of a install if you do anything else. Pictures are cropped compared to the desktop ones, and you can't zoom, or select audio, security, ect like desktop. It's easier to run back to the computer for pictures then use this app.
