love it. works really well! also worth it to purchase the hide option! Contrary to a lot of the other reviews, it doesn't ask for permissions for a bunch of things. All it nedds permissions for is accessing notifications, which is how it blocks incognito because incognito mode launches a notification, the app sees it, and immediately closes it. I've had no problems with it, and it worked perfectly on chrome even before purchasing!
Half a year later with no update or developer help, it took me looking at reviews for problems with other incognito apps. You have to make sure Chrome notifications are enabled for this to work. I don't see why the developer for this app can't just say that. I moved from 3 star to one star hopefully so more people can see this. Looking at the lowest reviews.
The app is always turned off when I check it after a while. Not sure if it's the apps fault or not. Would be useful to have password protection or somthin. When its then on though, it works perfectly.
dont waste your time with this app. it simple does not work on android phones. i did everything exactly as the directions read, but it had no effect whatsoever on being able to access incognito mode. even tied recycling power. simply a huge waste of time !!!!!!
Using the free version: when I go to open an incognito tab it opens and then closes doing its job. A handy app. Hadn't paid anything so not sure if it continues to work after or not. Does what I need it to for sure.
Works exactly as advertised. Doesn't eat up battery or lots of RAM, and the extra purchased button (to hide the app so it doesn't get turned off) is totally worth the 99 cents. Plus, developer never pleads for a 5 star rating, which shows respect for their consumers
No problems whatsoever so far. As soon as I open incognito, the app closes it out immediately. 5 stars for doing exactly what its supposed to without slowing anything down or eating RAM like the BlockSite app.
When I first downloaded this it was fine and worked then somehow it got turned off and never worked again after we reset the notification access and all. We even paid for the hide icon 3 times after all the uninstall and reinstalls we did. Please tell me how to fix this.
Garbage app. Fails to do it's only job. When I test it to see if it blocks incognito mode, it opens and is perfectly usable. Would give a zero if I could.
A lot of people are complaining that this doesn't work. It could be because you have disabled notifications from Chrome. Go to Settings - Notifications to check.
Its the best it works on lastest android, samsung, and latest chrome. It didn't work before but I just had disabled chrome notifications before so I just turned it on and it works perfectly. Thank you so much !!!!!!!
This app is great! I tested it after getting it and it totally works! The only thing I would want to be added is like a code of some sort you have to enter before turning it off.
Can't get it to work at all. Installed and uninstalled several times. Made sure I followed instructions exactly. Incognito tab still opens as it did before.
It didn't work on my phone. I was able to open incognito windows and navigate to whatever sites I wanted.
App should be locked when needed . Anyone can easily switch off the incognito mode and surf. That should be avoided
not working. Given full access to the notifications, still fails to work. U can go incognito and do whatever you want, doesn't even report a single thing. Useless app.
Great app. Thank you very much But sometimes it's not working!! I did not even restart the phone. I need to open app and set again !! This is not good.
It works well in my phone. But It should also have a password so that we can apply a huge unremembreable password to this app to uninstall it...In other words it should have a uninstall protection
Worked one week ago. Great! Now it is not working even after uninstall, play store cache wipe and reinstall. Please advise.
Disgusting. Installed n Uninstalled by seeing the user access policy. For disabling incognito what is the need for accessing messages n DND override. Please do read access control before using the app.
Didn't think it was working, but it does. you have to make sure Incognito mode is turned on in notifications as well
paid for app and doesnt work on chrome. best thing you can do as a parent is put an app lock code on android phone and apply it to chrome. they still have google which is easier to control.
Only works if Google notification setting is on, which is fine, but I would rather it be independent if possible.
It does work for chrome only but it charged me twice once for .99 like it claimed then charged me again for $7. It said it was only .99 cents

This is either a ZERO star app, or a FIVE star app, depending on whether or not it works. We've had this on a device for some time (along with AppLock), and it's been working great. But I just installed it on another device, and the incognito window doesn't close, though the permissions are allowed in chrome. // PLEASE FIX THIS, and possibly also list step-by-step details for the set-up in case something has changed since the last time we installed it on the first device. It's a worthy app - please make it work again (after which I will update my review to its well-deserved 5 stars (well-deserved when the app works). Thank you very much. // New info re: my review - I checked all settings/permissions on identical tablets. The settings/permissions on Chrome, Google, etc. are also identical. They are also both running the same version (updates) of Chrome and Google. // But the tablet with the newly installed "Disable Incognito Mode" app is running version 2.3 - it doesn't work (doesn't close the incognito tab). The tablet that already had it installed is running version 1.8 of the "Disable Incognito Mode" app, which works fine and closes the incognito tab with no problem. // Can you please either fix version 2.3, or revert to version 1.8?
