Pretty low grade. Hard to navigate through. Slow and crashes. This could be a good app.
Freezes on Note 9 with Android 10. Almost nothing works except moving map. Can scroll incident list, but cannot touch one to see details. If I select map point, incident box will pop up but not link to more details & cannot close box. Also, no access to Settings & cannot close app with "X" in upper-right corner. Am I missing something? What is the problem? Some unneeded processes disabled on this phone with Package Disabler, what unusual process is required?
Freezing up. Not connecting. Cant get in. And may be posting false stuff.
Its nice and informative. Filters of notifications not so nice. After creating an account i can only filter by radius .. not practical. I wish you can add filter by country, i have family members in different countries, i would want to get alerts on disasters in their countries. And filter by disaster, for example, i don't want to get alerts for Floods, unless they are disastrous floods .. now i feel like i get alerts for every splash happening.. too much Narrow it down a bit.. thanks
Disaster Alert keeps me updated on all disasters. It would be nice to be able to have an option to choose what areas and the disaster level.
App is UNUSABLE after update. It's stuck on tips and tricks loop and there's no way to access or get out. Fix it pls. I depend on this app and have been a paid subscriber for more than 3 yrs. I can't even get to the list of disaster points.
Looks like it might have potential but it is very slow and sometimes TOTALLY unresponsive. Can't even exit out of it. Uninstalling. Might try it in distant future to see if it got any better.
I really enjoy the app, it takes a little bit of learning curve for a new installation. You have to go into the app to get the weather, emergency items and areas of interest selected for the app to shine.
View is awesome. Product is difficult to work initially, but after about an hour of trial and error, I was able to get the look I want. Did notice that fires show up even when you turn it off. The source is automatic.
The application barely work. Extremely slow extremely buggy. Lots of things in the UI doesn't make sense, et cetera. Obviously this application was developed by low-skilled workers.
This is a really informative app...
So far the app is performing well. Not perfect (which is why it only gets 4 stars) After I've had it awhile, if it still works really well, I might give it 5 stars. I just got to give it a week. Then I might give it the extra star. 👌
This app used to have very clear symbols of what each disaster is. It's not only an unclear mess of dots now but doesn't work right when you try to click on them. Very poor now. Used to be good.
Very ugly UI plus sometimes I stuck and I cannot move the arrows or the + sign in the center to see disasters.
the older version was way better, easier to understand, sometime to much information is not good as in this case, timely alerts have also disappeared as well, wish the older version was available
Way too many notifications and it's constantly on so is eating up data. And I really don't need to know about every windstorm half way across the globe.
I'm interested in Earthquakes and Volcanoes, so not looking for delivery of other details. Very happy with detail and coverage.
I found this App an excellent and in-depth means of keeping an awareness of all occurances effecting travel arrangements such as earthquakes, floods, high winds, volcanic activity, wildfires and ongoing epidemic outbreaks amongst a multitude of other global events that are flagged and updated as and when they occur.I can recommend this well written App to the global traveller. This is a true and honest review.
Great compilation of significant events worldwide, with a nice clean UI. With this and the USGS sites, you can pretty much see everything of consequence.
Wellington is on a fault and the harbour could produce a quake, we had a rescent quake and the alarm went of and the Quake struck. This app could save lives, so I think it's essential.
It's a good idea. But I ran into nothing but issues. The filters don't work right. Showing the whole world instead of my area. Wont let me change utc to PT. The type of incidents won't filter into type or area. Id like to see both by type and local area. I really dont care what's happening in India or Louisiana when I live in Oregon and want to know if we have fire or Tsunami alerts or warnings. Since I live outside a tiny town. Our local systems are pretty bad and wanted a better warning
