I do truly love the game, the art style is amazing but the real issue is the puzzle minigame that is necessary is where they get there money since to get 5 more attempts (witch you will need) is a long ad, now that would be fine but the fact that 90% of the time you need to watch an ad just to get a or the second animal every single time without perfect memory and strategy to find them (and even then they are almost impossible to get both in 10 attempts)you need to watch an ad overall I enjoy it

I am a long time user of this game, ive probably played it for 4ish years on and off. It is a super adorable game and I love it! It is very basic at first, but with the unlock of the space barn, you can really make the time spent playing longer. It adds another aspect to the game that it needed. I also love the new addition of the time travel machine! I can't wait to see all of the new timeless animals! So far, they seem to show up more often than the Mystic animals. Is that on purpose?

This is one of my favourite games. It doesn't transfer to new phones so I've started over from scratch 2x now and it never gets old. The little blocky pixel animals and how they all have different sounds are so cute. It's an easy game but better than most casual games b/c you can play a long time doing the puzzles or collecting coins. Unobtrusive ads that you choose to see whether you want 5 more free tries in the puzzle. Can't think of a single thing wrong with this game. LOVE.

great game, just a few bugs. notifications in the top left not showing up sometimes and music staying the same as the normal zoo theme when on a rescue or while playing funky bus. Over all a great fun game. Also it is one of the only mobile games that doesnt force feed you ads every 5 seconds. and the music is great. I keep remembering great things about this game and having to go back and edit my review. I think that says a lot. would recommend.

It's a great game! Very fun and cute. But the ads are broken. When I want to get 5 more free attempts by watching an ad, they give me a Shopee add which is just swipe left and right. It's a series of pictures and not a video at all! Which means that I cannot get my free attempts. Please fix this bug as soon as possible. It is making me very annoyed.

Okay, so, yes, this is a 'watch ads to progress' game. Usually those aren't worth a second of your time; this one is an exception. The ads are the usual repetitive nonsense, but the game itself is very cute, well thought out, and has lots of fun details - the way the zoogoers comment on the animals is especially good, not to mention the easter-egg minigame - and the ads are opt-in and don't distract from the gameplay. Good job, devs, you've earned my advertising revenue, and that's a rare thing.

Mostly great, with a few annoyances. First, it's super cute (omg the kangaroos' "boing"!), progression feels good and well-paced, and it's easy to pick up and put down whenever. However, most animals fall asleep way too quickly, even at max level, demanding your constant attention if want to keep earning money while "idle", and on occasion the ads don't work in providing more searches for no apparent reason, or sometimes don't even load. Overall, though: recommended!

this is the third time i've downloaded this game, & it's a delight every time. i love the style, the sounds; the gameplay is fun but simple & forgiving. & the best part? the ads are SUPER avoidable; yeah, watching the ads will get you farther faster, but they're not in your face or annoying even if you use them. this is NOT a pay-to-win game, & for that, i'll love it forever.

It's a really cute and simple time waster. You can settle in and play for a stretch (the store prices are really reasonable for extra coins to rescue animals) or you can can run a quick rescue or two on your breaks. If it starts getting repetitive, it's easy to drop it for awhile and then pick it right back up again. I think it's a really well done game

This game starts out cute, but once you get into it, it starts to get annoying. You have find animal squares on a grid and hope that you find something before you run out of moves. You can pay with irl money or watch an ad to add 5 moves to your counter, but it's not uncommon to watch 3 ads in one expedition just because it's random chance whether that last animal square is up or down the grid. Good game if you don't mind losing more than winning, I guess

Game is fun but I wish there was a better way to earn coins quickly rather than playing Funky Bus, it's rage inducing due to the fact that there are lots of situations where you can tap and lose and not tap and still lose, most of the time I am unable to get a high score because of walls of cars with very small gaps and end up getting like 20 points. It's all about luck since you have to get lucky not to get a wall with small gaps. I like the pattern finding part of the game though.

Just an all-around great game. UI works great and the game itself is very fun. Great job! I have noticed a problem however, ever since upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy S10. The gradient at the top of the screen and the menu at the bottom are not aligned quite correctly on this particular device, and some background is visible, making it look very awkward. By no means does this affect game performance, it is just a little bit annoying to look at.

Really fun game. Cute animals, very vintage feel to it with the pixel art. It's relatively simple to earn disco bucks with the occasional customer dropping them and during rescues. I did buy the piggy bank thinking that it would be a one time buy but alas, it is not! So be aware of that. Other than that, the discos are great and I love the music 😁

really fun and got addicted to it very fast, spend a lot of my time on this game cause it's so easy to just pick up and play. only downside is that there is no way to transfer progress or purchases. I bought the zoopedia or whatever it's called that shows you the animals patterns on my iPhone and I was decently far into the game as well, I just got a new android phone and was disappointed to find out that I could not transfer my progress or purchase from my iPhone, until then 4 stars from me.

I'm have a love/hate relationship with this game, it's extremely entertaining- just once you get up to a certain level it gets hard to keep up enough coins to keep playing. Overall I really enjoy it, it's just hard to wait for more coins to keep playing unless I buy the discobux to get a disco party! It's so hard to keep myself from buying those when I just wanna keep playing. Adore the game a bit too much I think!

LOVE IT! It's fun and simple. It was easy to understand and it doesnt force you to do a bunch of stuff in a tutorial. It just gives you tips as you go. It doesnt have many ads! What makes it so enjoyable is you get to build your own zoo by basically winning a lottery to get animals. Then you have a DISCO PARTY where the little animals and people all dance around and it's really funny! PLUS, you can give your animals hats!! Who wouldn't love a game like that?!

Tay. R. Sep 16, 2019

Definitely a tap game with aspects of waiting to build up coins for more gameplay if you aren't willing to spend real money, but very fun and very addictive. I love the tiny animals and collecting hats for them is quite amusing. I'm a terrible person who never returns hats after they've been lost in an exhibit πŸ˜… I've never had glitches or issues with the game and the lack of in your face ads is SPECTACULAR and very appreciated.

I played Tiny Tower for several years. It's been awhile now since they added pets (which were a reference to this game), and I finally decided to try it. It's fun, it's different, it's pretty generous when it comes to extra attempts at rescuing animals, the style is cool, the little diaolgues from zoo goers are sometimes pretty funny. My only real criticism might be that, right now, I feel the starting times for falling asleep should've been a little longer, but maybe not; I'm not a game dev.

Perfect app to pass the time. It's fun, it's engaging, attractive to look at and you always have the opportunity to progress without any hassle and without having to use real money. There's plenty of animals and they're extremely satisfying to collect. I only wish there were even more habitats and types of animal for more advanced players.

A lot to like in this pattern matching/idle game, but it is marred by a few key admittedly subjective problems. I really love the pattern search game, but I just don't get to do it enough without premium currency. There are some fun events that haapen outside of that mini game, but they don't happen often enough to keep me engaged. Therefore, I log off and completely forget about the game. Bought the $3 pattern compendium, but game's too boring to make much use of it. Sigh.

And. S. Mar 5, 2020

I love the game. The only problem I have is that sometimes I'll watch an ad to get 5 free attempts, but when the ad ends it doesn't give me the attempts, it just doesn't. If I try to watch another ad to get my attempts back, the music stops playing. It resumes normal behavior once I restart the app, but it's frustrating. When a rescue is absolutely important I'll use my discobux to get my attempts, but it's still not a solution to the problem.

Jam. C. May 9, 2019

Absolutely love this game! Something the devs could add is some way to actively earn money, rather than just wait. One small problem though is occasionally when I watch an ad for extra attempts when finding animals, I have to watch 2 or 3 before it works. However this doesn't happen often so it's not significant enough to power my rating.

Disco Zoo is one of those games that ooze charm. Everything about it is cute, funny or both, and the gameplay, while simplistic, is rewarding enough to keep me hooked. My only complaint is that I find the non-disco zoo music a bit depressing, but I can always turn it off. Overall, an adorable game!

Gar. C. Nov 6, 2021

Exceptional Game I love spending my idle time searching for animals and browsing my zoo. Like all great games, you only view ads when you choose to do so in exchange for perks. My only suggestion is, it would be nice to be able to read a cute little description for each animal, and a more detailed Help & Tips menu would be nice as well. Fantastic game; fully recommend.

Joo. Mar 6, 2021

Absolutely love this game! Played it several years ago back in 2016, and it still entertains me in 2021. One little thing; the funky bus is extremely laggy and delayed, sometimes the clicks register up to 500ms later. Maybe consider adding an option to remove details such as cars in the opposite lane, or at least optimize it a little

Kry. t. Nov 6, 2018

ITS SOOOOO AMAZING!!!!!!!! but a problem- I made a small disco and then clicked out of the game but when I clicked back in everything restarted. I was so close to getting the polar area only about 70,000 more to go but it restarted and usually when both me and my brother have a game we compete to see who's better I was better and I used to help him but now I can't cuz everything is gone! disco zoo is without a doubt the most fun and most engaging casual mobile game I've ever played. the depth of the game is incredible with multiple challenging but fun elements to it, and the longer you play the more brilliant gameplay elements are unlocked. the game appears simple at first, but gradually increases in complexity with these new elements, while staying the same at it's core. I've run out of space but I love this game and thank you for coming to my Ted talk 😘😘
