DiscoEat - Book Restaurants with Discounts

I really like the core idea of this app, offering a win-win situation both customers and restaurants. However most of the restaurants continue to be a buzz kill about this service. Either they don't know or care about DiscoEat. One time I've had placed a pickup order, when I arrived nothing was prepared and I had to convince the restaurant that they actually work with DiscoEat 🤦‍♂️ Company needs to invest serious amount of time to onboard restaurants.

Ok, this app i like more than lieferando because of better score mechanism and real photos. However cant find where the paying options are? Where is it? Also if you make it so I can remove places that i dont like by swapping left, then I promise I will switch from lieferando. Everyone has a favorite option. But think about it...you promote discovery..people want to try new things...so I dont want to spend discovery time by seeing again places that I know I dont like.

Hi Nimo and the support team, I received a phone call next day after my first experience with this app. They were supportive and explained their corrective measures and actions. I am back to the app again. Although, comparing to other available apps, English language is missing from the menus. This feature could boost the app. It is a pitty that the support team speaks a perfect English but the same feature is not available for the tourists or international/foreign app users in Germany.

As someone who works in a restaurant that has been using discoEat for a while i gotta say that this app is awful. Whoever developed this app have no idea how a kitchen works. The fact that we are locked into a 20 minutes time frame to get the order done shows that the team behind have never worked in a busy kitchen. And this is just one of yhe bad things about this app. Im happy to provide consulting services in case you want to improve your app. Im a chef with over 13 years of experience.

Great concept. The app could be more user friendly. Lot of things are missing in it. (Thats why left a star) Sort by rating, etc would be great.

I just love this app! It's the best way to discover new restaurants! You can support your fav small local businesses with it!!! Super reliable - never had a bad experience!

Great app! I have found several awesome restaurants across Berlin with DiscoEat, and always get a discount off my meal - win win! The app is simple, attractive and has a smooth user interface. Would recommend!

The time given for delivery never matches the actual delivery time. Always late. A pizza arrived in 90 minutes instead of 45. That's unacceptable. You guys need a way to provide good estimates and faster deliveries. I won't use the app anymore if this continues.

My first order got cancelled due to "no driver available", as a friendly lady told me on the phone. So I deleted the app. The app has other issues, but that doesn't even matter when you don't get the food you ordered.

Thanks for reply and implementing this. 5* if you implement auto fill for discounts, or have place to look up/apply them? Easier user experience Original review: frustrated because the discount code would disappear once entered the app and couldn't locate it again.

Customer service is usually pretty prompt in following up if the delivery times exceed the promised cut off times. Plenty of discount codes and promotions offered, can't complain :)

great way to have a new place suggested when you don't know where to go, and the discount is a real bonus. had great experiences on this app!

We recently used the app to find an awesome new Argentinian restaurant near to our house. great recommendations and with a discount. Can't get any better 😘

Twice it had happened that after waiting 75+ mins no food was delivered. Incompetent service from discoeat, and no way to contact number to reach out!!

Cheap food and easy to use. Very recommendable, it even has discounts for drinks, not for coffee though.

all in all a nice app. would be nicer if we could get to choose favorite restaurants for future bookings.

Good concept but no restaurants south of the river aside from a handful in Clapham. Seems a shame as missing out on new trendy central eating hubs like London Bridge/ Borough Market, Southwark, Southbank, etc. May use in future when restaurants are better spread out.

Great restaurants, yummy food, better price in comparison to the other deliveries apps and plenty of coupons!

I enjoyed the drink vouchers and discounts at two Indian and a Vietnamese restaurant. Was amazing food at a reasonable price.

Food wasn't ready until 30 minutes after the designated pickup time. Switching back to Wolt
