The app offers built-in streaming options: stream from worldwide music services such as Tidal; use AM/FM and Internet radio, connect to DLNA servers, or play anything from your devices’ music library, including your playlists. The app automatically organizes and indexes the music for you.
IMPORTANT NOTE: this app is companion software to Dish Set-Top-Box Dish Music functionality and other audio products enabled with Play-Fi technology. It is not intended as a stand-alone audio player.

Messed Up Polk Sound Bar. Looked like it should work, seemed like easy set up. I chose spotify, hit play, and lost all sound. Saw in app that "device not compatible with spotify." Closed app and turned off dish music in tv menu. But still no polk audio sound for shows. Had to get out polk user manual to get tv sound to go through Polk bar. So disappointed.
Could not connect to spotify. Spotify is not compatible. You guys say it is then tell me to contact spotify. They have no idea how to make your app work. Spotify is compatible with play-fi but NOT dish music. Please let the biggest music provider work. Quit lying to people when you know damn well spotify wont work.
like others have said, I couldnt scroll down to check all the boxes to launch it and also does NOT support Google music. I was going to use my Amazon prime music but like I said earlier I cant even get through the start up. Before Dish advertised this, they probably should've worked out all the bugs
Well when I use my personal library of music I put it on Shuffle, and it don't switch to the next song all it does is Buffer and the song keeps playing, can't switch to the next song. My only issue is that!!
When I first started using the app about two years ago it worked great, sound quality was fantastic. That being said.....the last six months the app can not even make it through a song without saying connection lost, then you go to reconnect and absolutely nothing happens. PLEASE FIX!!!!!!
Too much time between songs. Needs smoother transition. Have to get completely out of app to take a phone call. Found that out the hard way. They can hear you but you can't hear them.
It is quirky, but it works. I have used it with iHeartRadio & Amazon Music. My Bride can listen to her favorite radio show, "Rhythm Review" on WBGO (JAZZ 88.3) It sometimes gets stuck on the "Pleàse Wait" screen. It drops and recovers often. It is not reliable yet, but it is another reason that I am a DISH subscriber since 2000/2001. I get best usage on my LG Stylo4. I am "waiting for download" to my Lenovo tablet as I write this. Is it your server rather than your client?
I was hoping to stream Sirius XM channels available through my Dish Network account. Was led by the Dish Network docs to believe this would work. Not so. Would need a separate Sirius XM account to access as well as new app compatible speakers. If you want to use headphones, instead of speakers, you are limited to only TV sound, no music. Doesn't meet my needs so still searching for a solution.
If it doesn't support Spotify there's no use for it ... please let us know when y'all are up to date with the rest of the world 👍I was really looking forward to using this, until I saw that I came use it with Spotify. I put one ⭐star because I had to I'm order to write this ...
Save yourself 600+ MB of storage space and use your device's native casting/streaming feature instead that does both audio & video. This app only streams music from your device TO your TV.
JUNK. won't stay connected to any box in my house. app is also unsupported on spotify, which is the only one I use. bye bye dish music
This has no option for google play music, so completely useless for me. I would have loved it if I could have actually been able to use it.
No suppirt for Google Play Music makes this useless for me. If they add support for this, i would use it all day, every day. Could be a real game-changer.
I obtained thia app for my Kindle fire. It does not work. Any possibility this problem can be fixed. Dishnetwork and Amazon were nor able to correct the problem.
Hopper says dish music is on, and Hopper is connected to Internet, but phone app on the same network cannot see Hopper. Uninstalled right away.
Not a great recommended!! It needs help in every department doesn't help it customers better off without cable

This app free from dish setup thru my hopper is awesome 🙂. It's useful especially while I'm doing things around the house & just having coffee 📻 🎸 🎶 ☕ 🙃
So many music options on all of my televisions. I can listen to music all over the house.
it wont let me accept the terms n condition. u guys really need to pay attention to this comments n fix the app. so many people with so many problems. :-(
Terrible don't put freaking Spotify on here if its not compatible get your act together I've been a dish customer for 25 years this is the most upset I've been with them in a while and also for God sakes add apple music get with the program
Have to use wi-fi. Can't open the app with my mobile hotspot. Totally useless.
What purpose does this serve. I have to connect to wifi to use. Why do i need this...pandora and xm already work on my phone and its asking for passwords.confusd
Merge this with play fi and call it dish music. Way better app for your play fi device than the original app.

Seems like a pretty poor app. Needs a lot of work yet, very difficult to navigate amazon music using this.
