This app is saved me from accidental deletions more than once. And if I have changed my mind about something I deleted I am able to recover it with very little effort.

The picture quality is so horrible. I wouldn't mind if it was a slight downgrade but it's to the point where nothing can be seen. Some photos are never found. Sorting function does not work, neither does the date filter where pictures taken clearly before the date are still shown when the filter is activated. i request a refund.

Given I had to be a dumbass who formatted my SD card many times AND had to save a random picture just to see if it got corrupted (it didn't). I think I lost everything that I used to have in the card given how the simple scan won't let me see pictures other than the one I saved (which I think it means everything's lost and there's no need to root), so I guess this means it should be able to work for those who know how to root their devices AND didn't commit a similar thing I did. 5/5 I guess☺🔫

Almost every blog/article I searched recommended this app as a cheap way to restore your deleted data. But my god is it bad. When I first downloaded it I thought, "Oh thank goodness. At least it didn't cost me $$ to undo my f*** up." But the quality and size of the recovered photos are horrible. Forget about being able to read the font of a 'recovered' screenshot. Or reading that font on a previously deleted pic originally zoomed in on that product tag of that item you wanted to remember to buy.

No way to search for common data filetypes -mostly media, documents, and zip file search which means you're not ever able to recover data or program data or databases and important phone files.

I can clear a lot of my memory in my phone, this is outstanding! I can also recover some old photos.

Good app for recovering photos or videos you didnt mean to delete

I bought this program expecting good results. All my music artwork got erased somehow. This program only saved about 18% of my art work and other deleted photos before it crashed and will not go any farther. Of those only 10% were usable. None of my photo's were recovered. This is useless.

I rarely leave reviews, but felt I must for this, equally I felt compelled to buy the pro version. After an unfortunately necessary factory reset left me without a year's worth of photos that had not backed up due to cloud being full, this nifty little app restored them all and more! Now I have cherished memories of my sons birth and first months again. Can't thank you enough and would thoroughly recommend if you are in similar situation.

Exellent for a rooted phone/tablet Slow but does the job I have a 512gb sd card and recoverd some photos, both raw and jpg. You are able to start the search any where in the memory, from start to end (0 - 100%) Took about 3 to 5 minutes to search 1% of 512gb Excellent if you dont want to take out your sd card for searching in pc Really cheap £2.30 so well worth it for an emergancy

The free version of this gives the impression your device is rooted and restoring files will be a breeze. After you pay $3 for the app, you're instantly thrown through a loop of installation that then requires you to pay $30 more to root - all before you can even see if anything on your device actually is recoverable.

Excellent application. Enabled me to recover an important audio memo. Device needs to be rooted, which is to be expected when handling system functions a normal user has no permissions to use. Beware though, and know what you want. It may also bring stuff to the surface you almost managed to forget.

The cleanup screen needs to have filters like the main recovery screen. And the app previously excluded photos that are already present so I could delete the recovery cache, but now I cannot do this without deleting all my actual photos and have to remove them one by one (I can only clean the thumbnail cache at once)

Norton has major issues with this app!! I have to constantly put up with Norton's ongoing warnings about this app!! I have contacted the creator, who said: "The Norton system automatically flags any app that requires root access... ...which can potentially take full control of your device, ...so by definition "not safe," with good reason. DiskDigger is a very powerful tool, & could be used maliciously in the wrong hands." The creator IS NOT interested in complying with Norton security!!

Don't purchase this product. It'll retrieve files then ask you to download something to read them. You are forced to pay for for the pro version after waiting a longtime for the scan to finish in the free version just to get screwed out of $2.99 plus tax. I want a refund.

Doesn't do what it used to. Anytime I'd accidentally delete something, which is often because I'm a dope, the photos would pop right up with this app. Now it doesn't really do that as much, only get some pictures. Probably something on my end though!

This app does not serve the purpose and takes advantage of vulnerability of customer. I was only able to recover few images but the image size is so low (1-2 kb) that they can't be looked at. I have wasted my money please don't waste yours. I can't even find refund option now.

Galaxy Note 9 on T-Mobile with Oreo, I was able to recover a few deleted pictures without needing root privileges. Large files didn't seem to work although it does state large files have a tendency to be corrupted so that's fair.

Doesn't search areas in order of date of change. Didn't find the photo I searched for. I wanted an image from 2020-06-10, but the scanner can apparently not search for folders and see what date they were edited, and from there go through heap memory.

Tried wiping free space, after that was done, tried searching for recoverable files, found files that I deleted last month. The Clean up function is useless, it doesn't show any thumbs of the pictures that I'd like to remove. NOT RECOMMENDED, A WASTE OF MONEY.

I recently (as in like 10 hours ago) deleted about ~40 GBs of music, it didn't find a single recoverable file, even though other file recovery tools did, and I didn't do anything that would have since overwritten the deleted data. I had to keep my phone awake because if I didn't, it kept giving me errors. I selected mp3, wav, and jpg, I am also rooted, as needed. If I were you I'd avoid this app.

It does find the previously deleted files, but the bit to zero out unused space is a sham. For a program that requests root, it sure doesn't do much. You're better off manually* clearing cache of every application you use. Was only $3*, I guess.

My micro sd card failed and this app was able to retrieve cached thumbnails from the gallery. Even though the picture quality is much worse than before it's made my day to get so many memories back. Thanks!

Pro does the same as the free version. It really only works by saving the deleted photos from the device and not the sd card. Kind of pointless as the device can store photos in thumbnails folder upon delete. Basically serves as a noob helper to find lost photos

Very dangerous app! Lists existing (wanted) complete files as well as partially deleted ones, so the subsequent 'Clean Up' will delete the wanted files as well, unless unchecked. Not easy to check if hundreds of files listed. Can I get a refund?

First im very happy when using the free version. but after purchasing it, the app say i must root my device first. this make me very disappointed but anyway, this app help me recover back hundred of my lost photos although its not all. video cant be recovered. if u can make this app recover photos n vid without rooting, im sure will be coming back to buy a full version.

I was able to recover my pictures. However, all of them are totally bleary and unfocused. I will be contacting the individual who made this app and ask for a refund. If I'm not able to get anywhere with them I will be disputing this with my bank.
