Really disappointed. We've used this app before and it isn't working anymore. I uninstalled and redownloaded it and it just isn't working. It initially had a black screen wherever my daughter and I tried to take a picture. Since downloading it again, it won't even load past the initial opening screen. It's really too bad this isn't working anymore. It was a really cute app with these coloring books.
shows the wrong princess, super glitchy, only parts of the princess are colored, occasionally gets it right for about 3 seconds. terrible terrible app! I've tried restarting, re downloading, restarting phone, everything. tried on the iPad and other phones as well, and i have a high quality phone. promises a lot, delivers nothing. don't waste your time or get your child's hope up!
Downloaded overnight, slowed down my phone. Was hoping to didnt work so I could uninstall. Sadly it worked..... kind of. For the most part it picks up the colors you color, although some parts are left white. But everything is really swirly, not a nice looking solid color except the skin which is automatic. (meaning you won't be changing any of the princesses from white) It seems to miss a lot my 3 year old colored pink hair got the green that she colored the face instead.
Currently the app needs updated. We have paid for add ons and my daughter use to love this. While coloring, it keeps erasing everything except the last half second of coloring. If you hit the undo button, it shows the coloring. As soon as you color more it happens again. Basically no matter how much you color, you can never finish coloring because it keeps erasing. Please help ....will give 5 stars if fixed.
Doesn't have 3 out of the 4 color and play coloring books that I just purchased as an option. And the one book it did have- well it didn't do anything when we lined up all four stars on our screen used the phone as instructed on Google. Huge waste of space and App asks permission to record audio. What? WHY?? this is way too invasive and makes me highly uncomfortable esp when my children are the ones that would normally be using it.
The app did not save any progress under the free trial. All pictures were locked after first time playing. We were. charge 3.99 on a app that never work properly. I cancel trial as soon as payment was taken. Membership on children's games is a crock and a money grab, shame on you. Sorry won't change my review, it may not sound right to you but it 100% accurate.
So it worked great kids loved it. But Now it won't work. I can pick the page we coloured but the screen for scanning stayed black besides the icons for home or help or back. Sometimes a mini version of the page shows up but the rest is black and unable to scan.
Update: doesnt work at all support team on here and through email basically tell you to trouble shoot it even though it's the app that's not responding. Dont waste your money on these coloring books they dont work and the kids get all excited. For nothing. 11/21/2018 Doesnt work we colored pages and it doesnt upload to the 3d come to life feature it says and the load up takes forever. We bought these coloring books because they do this and it is very disappointing to my daughter. Update:: did what the app support team suggested still doesnt work!!!! Update number 2: sent support an email on 11/12/18 waiting for response.
Would say more content to load but never load got coloring but on sale only two different kind of pictures. Music instrument record kept saying do you want to record over but never let you .color mickey after you use paint or brush no more paint one time deal .no good Don't wast your time no good .I would have thought it would have been better . disappointed 😞 coloring book went in trash .
I have been unable to successfully scan any of the pages. I've followed all of the directions, manually selected pages, and attempted multiple different pages to scan. This app is a 1.2 gig disappointment.
my 6 year old lil sister loves this app. she thinks it is really cool but the 3d animation is a little glichy and she also pointed out that she colored the tail blue but it turned out gray. if you could please fix the glitchyness and the color problem then this app would be a four star.
This app wasn't always "free" I bought it before it was updated and was able to color in multiple areas and seasons for free. Now that the app is "free" they require you to pay for the seasons and coloring pages. Its absolutely unfair to those who paid for the app before it was updated to "free"
its too slow. it lags so bad when scanning the pictures. it's just a waste of time. it would be really cool IF it worked the way it's supposed to. but it doesn't and it's very disappointing. my son LOVES disney, and hopefully you guys can fix the problem. but until then, i'll be uninstalling.
The app is a good idea if would work. The pages mostly won't load or the app won't recognize it. Too glitchy and annoying to use. Also the puzzles are too small on a phone screen. The scanner malfunctions.
App doesn't work as it's supposed to. Takes forever to scan a picture, sometimes it doesn't recognize colors from coloring books. Taking a picture takes about 30 second freezing the screen.
Did they quit? This app hasn't been updated in over a year. Nothing new has been added. Same ole same ole! I'll just download the printable pages we purchased and uninstall this application. Complete waste! Don't do it!
Could not find my daughter's coloring book. Crashed my phone while trying to use it. Screwed up the resolution of my background image requiring a restart. Disney needs to stop porting their crappy iPhone apps and instead do some native Android development.
The app doesn't work anymore. After selecting the book we have purchased, the screen turns black and doesn't activate the camera. Stay away from this app and the coloring books.
It's doesn't work .I have the book and the app doesn't work . It's so disappointing when my daughter is waiting for the character to come to life. Pls fix it .its just a black screen cant scan the pictures. Very disappointing
I have lots of color & play coloring books. The grandbabies loved the idea of it coming to life & I had never had a problem with the pages not working before. Lots of children colored pages in different books just to have some not work.Very frustrating & heartbroking to the children who had spent a long time coloring great detail to their picture & be so excited & then it didn't work . They need to fix this to make sure all of their color & play books work. We spend too much on them not to work.
theres only one play room with mickey thats free everything else you need to pay for and its shoved in childrens faces with big characters and colours wanting them to spend more and its £2 each to be able to colour. the colouring books look good but there you only get one free mickey the rest are £3 each unless you buy the magazine maybe ill try that it looks a good idea but i dont like all these in app purchases aimed at children all these children apps have them shouldnt be allowed in my opini
DOESNT WORK worked just once when tried the first time, but took 20 minutes to get it to work and scan. Tried again months later and now screen to scan is just black, so unable to scan. Not worth it
Awfully done. Most of the pages are not recognized properly, even when being chosen explicitly ftom the coloring book page listing in the app. The app has only landscape mode and pages are in portrait, which is really confusing. The experience is not worth the money.
I used this app all the time months ago and it worked fine. Now it's just a black screen and will not scan the book. Very disappointed because I'm working with some new kids and wanted to show them how fun this was.
A little disappointing. My daughter was really excited to try out the puzzle pages in one of the color and play books. It didn't recognize the page and she was very disappointed.
I was so excited when I saw this book. I bought it to play & colour with my son. But I got home helped him colour in the pictures and all you can see after you download the app is a "BLACK SCREEN". Kind of a disappointment if you ask me. My 18mth old would have loved this, if it worked.
Still Not worth it!!!!!! This app is horrible and a complete waste of time. I thought it would be fun to use after watching the instructional video we tried to follow it but nothing happened it takes a picture and then nothing the page is supposed to come alive but does nothing, not impressed at all it's like they created the app and then abandoned it both versions should be removed!!!!!!!!!!!
We can't get it to work! We have the coloring book, click through everything, get to the colored page with the stars and we get a black screen!
I love this game I used to play it when I was little and it's a pretty fun interactive virtual coloring book you can use the physical coloring books we can use the void rooms you can buy money with money and got really annoyed but before they the week the separate versions of the garden the Halloween all of them in the Christmas
Not sure why this app is still on the market. I emailed them about getting a black screen whenever I tried taking a photo (an issue apparently a lot of other people have by looking at the reviews). This was their reply: "The app uses complex 3rd party technology and, unfortunately, we have been unable to reach an appropriate agreement with that 3rd party to continue use of their product. As a result, we have had to withdraw the app from sale" Just want to save people the effort--don't bother!!!
