LINES features include:
-Both Disney’s currently posted wait time at every attraction and how long you’ll REALLY wait in line, based on our experience and that of thousands of families on the same ride.
-New “Ride Now” and “Wait to Ride” recommendations to show whether waits are going up or down at your favorite rides.
-Customized step-by-step touring plans for both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. You tell LINES which rides you want to see, and LINES will create a step-by-step itinerary showing when to go to each ride to avoid long lines. You can even change your plans while you’re in the park!

In our experience the estimated line times were way off. The disneyland app was much more accurate. Because of this, it plan for way off, and when that happened, the app was not able to adjust because we had put in breaks at specific times based on the apps estimates. We ended up using the Disney app much more frequently.
This app basically does what is expected of it. A lot of complaints about wait times aren't predictable. In 3 days 5 rides went down for maintenance so 30 min turned into hour. This is not the apps fault. I did find the Disney times to be more accurate however. I assumed unlocking the app would give access to more/better plans and that is not the case. Unfortunaly the app was not worth the price for my disneyland trip.
The app and the articles are both really helpful. DL seems intentionally vague in their descriptions of how the park works. This app helps eliminate some of that. Only suggestion is incorporating some sort of park hopper plan setting for DL.
mediocre, not worth paying for the app. great plan ideas, but difficult to remove and add steps on the fly in the app while in the park to readjust your plan. just download disneyland app itself it's a better app, and then add paying for the maxpass for fastpasses/photos.
Wait times WAY inaccurate, doesn't update. Confusing and not easy to use. After an hour in the park trying to use this app, I gave up from frustration. NOT RECOMMENDED even if it was free!
I refuse to enter any Disney park without this app. I've used it on several trips and it's been a lifesaver! We rode a TON of rides on a very busy day and even had time to relax at the end of it all.
Touring plans is extremely helpful in planning for and navigating the parks. Also have always been successful in having them search for ADRs that I couldn't get.
An excellent tool for your Disneyland Excursion. I frequent the park and the wait times are very accurate and realistic, more so than the official Disneyland app.
Super helpful! Times and crowd levels are pretty accurate - more than the Disneyland app. Chat feature always gets helpful responses.
i havent even made it to the park yet, and i know that i am going to be constantly referring to this app. more information than the Disneyland app has in terms of wait time. tells you when to ride, and if lines are likely to drop. 10/10 would recommend.
The custom plans with optimization and evaluate buttons were awesome and really helped us save time at both Disneyland and DCA. We travelled with 2 littles aged 5 and under so we were thankful for a good balance of guidance and flexibility.

Having stumbled into being the family's coordinator at Disneyland, I am soooo grateful for this app. It's so easy to plan out our days and has so much community and data driven information that you just can't do Disney without it!
Waste of money. Now standing 45 minutes in to a displayed 9 minute wait. Also cant seem to schedule fast pass times properly - I entered the return time and it will not put the ride in that time slot.
The Lines app was extremely helpful in getting us on lots of rides with very little wait time during a busy spring break week. Thank you!
The custom touring plan updated real time to help my wife and I avoid lines. It was so convenient and allowed us to do so much more during our visit.

I've been using this app for several years and would feel unprepared at Disneyland and DCA without it. While I don't find the planning feature helpful in the parks because it's too hard for them to accurately predict the wait times ahead of time, I do find it very helpful on the wait times at the moment I am deciding whether to get in a line. Disney overestimates its current wait times, and TP is more accurate. Plus the chat site is a goldmine of info.
