I have used this app for years and years (and years. Lol.). Paid for the extras. More than worth it. Never ever had any problems, no matter what brand or model device I was using. Brilliantly laid out with lots of options for setup and the UI. Highly recommended.
Used to be good, but I moved from an older phone to a Samsung S9+ and it just crashes each time I open the app. No update available to fix this yet. In fact, last updated Nov 2017. It's now May 2020.
On Android OS there is no support no upgrades no updates available. This version is not worth the money because it does not include what is included on the iOS version or even the old Commodore Amiga version. Don't waste your money
Unable to purchase this on my other account on my other device. Purchase fails. Declines. Is anyone able to purchase this app anymore?
I used to love this app but now after getting new phone i reinstalled it and the compass comes on for quick second then disappears... What happen to my favorite app? PLEASE HELP
Doesn't work well with Samsung phones. The image jumps around in compass mode
Using Distant Suns for many years in both IOS and Android. Still amazing!
Lacks features that have been present on the iphone version for a while. Paid to get it, but got a lesser version of the free app that iphone users get. Display preferences are more limited. As good as other stellariums, but the iphone version is better than other stellariums.
Was great in my iPhone and iPad, terribly small font on my android and no response from team when I requested assistance. There are better options
It used to work well. Now it doesn't. No updates since 2017. There are now better astronomy apps on Android, I suggest picking one of them. Which makes me sad. :(
Works fantastic on my old iPad but terrible performance on my Sony Xperia xz premium, can't even calibrate it without crashing, sorry for 1 star really wish I didn't have to.

This WAS an amazing, fun and informative app. The compass feature WAS great to look at, and the overlays WERE awesome. Although, since the latest updates I have an issue on the Galaxy S7 running Android 7. The compass reversed the directions and now 2 months later it will not open. UPDATE 2017-08-04: Still no helpful report from the developers. Someone gave me a response but I still have issues opening the app; then no more communication. It immediately closes on launch. This purchase is beginning to feel like a scam.
This is a great app, to see all that is up in the sky. I've loved it for a few years, but now it stopped working. It won't open up on my phone. OnePlus 3. Why?
Stopped working tried to reinstall but no go
On lg2 stock android 4.4.2, GPS seems unresponsive at worst, jerky/incorrect at best. I've seen other comments here reporting the same. Another thing I noticed: the pick feature doesn't appear to be calibrated . If I tap on the screen, it appears about a centimeter from where I want to click. I'd give this app a higher rating, but I need this fixed first! Thanks.
I love this app, that's for sure. The only thing I wish was improved is the Compass accuracy. When I use my HTC Sensation to look at stars, my phone is off, showing stars slightly to the right from their actual positions. If this could be fixed, that'd be great. Thanks for the awesome app. -Raf
Composed ko on Nexus 7 tablet but fine on Nexus 4 phone. Very annoyed and frustrated.
Finally, bug crashes fixed. Star picker and zoom could be better, but still the best in the field.
There are free apps better than this one. You should be able to serch for things but can't
played for this app would not open deleted it downloaded it again and it won't open. have sent 10 messages asked for a credit they don't even care enough to answer my email TIS APP IS FRAUDULENT
Without doubt this is the best night sky app for Android tablets. There is a wealth of information integrated with many tools, a realistic sky, and an intuitive UI. I will use it daily and I'm grateful for its GPS sensitivity. I wish 6 stars were available. Great app and more than worth the price.

Loved it when it worked on my old S3 but has failed to start on my S7. Shame.
Comet ison? Why is it in the ios version but not this one? This looks like an older version, keep it up to date please. Other than that it is still a great planetarium program.
Why can't I 'fly in' to the planets as I used to? They're all padlocked. Otherwise 5 stars. Help needed please.
I loved this app, but I think the lack of updates have caught up to it. Recently got a Pixel 4a and a lot of the app just doesn't work on newer phones. You can't add the sky grid or the artificial horizon, which makes the app hard to use. The audio also doesn't work anymore.
