Distractify

This was a great app . . . until the release of Android Lollipop (currently v5.0.1 for Verizon customers.) Now all I get is a "communication error" when I try to open it. Fix the problem and you will get 3 stars from me. Fix the video playback issues that came a few Kitkat updates ago and I'll rate it a 5.

Buzzfeed was getting on my nerves so I needed a new app for some interesting information to read when bored or what not.. This is pretty great just wish i could save to view later because some photos don't load for me sometimes, I think because my battery is low, but when I go back to look at the post I can't find it.. So would be nice. But still great!

...but I'm also experiencing the "unable to communicate" error. You would think after months of people giving the app poor reviews due to the issue it would be fixed. Oh well. I suppose I will simply look elsewhere to satisfy my curiosity.

It wont even open anymore, it just says communication error and crashes. Before that problem occurred, the articles would hardly ever load. Fix these problems and you'll see five stars from me again.

This app is great! I love the random stories, great for during a lunch break. Better than BuzzFeed I'd say..this app doesn't have all the dumb nonsense stories like BuzzFeed. The only thing I'd like fixed is that some stories keep spinning trying to load and don't load.. Please fix and I'll give you 5!

I used to love this app, now I dont. It stopped working on my SERO tablet so I tried installing it on my galaxy tablet it doesn't work on either tablet. Please do something to fix this thank you

Since last update the app won't open. Gives communications error message on blue screen every time. Used to be a great app.

I used this app all the time. Unfortunately, I get a "Communication Issue - Cannot open at this time" error (have for the past week). Please help, because you guys are the best listicle/clickbait website I've ever seen.

Does not work with android Lollipop. Currently have Galaxy s6 Edge and does not work. I have heard good things about this app. Please fix.

I love distractify. Been following from the beginning, from the amazingfilms247 days... But this app doesn't work for me! The videos won't ever load, and the quizzes look like they would be fun... If I could ever load one! I would love to be able to fully enjoy this app sometime. HTC M8

Constantly... I just saw others have pointed this out on newer android devices... apparently they aren't going to bother fixing it so it distracted me for a few minutes.. now it's uninstalled

I was curious to see if Distractify had an App. Deep down I know I shouldn't have indulged the thought, but I did anyways. Now my chances of passing the tests I have tomorrow aren't looking so good.

I enjoy this app when things load, but most of the time they don't. I don't know if it's my phone or the app itself.

In love with this app. A good time killing activities. The contents are funny and entertaining. Best app to fill the free time after 9gag. Great job!

Worked fine for a few weeks now getting connection error and app won't load. All my other apps load fine

Even before it stopped working altogether, there were issues where random links would not load. Also it would be nice if people could comment on articles. Overall like buzzfeed with a lot more glitches and fewer features.

Used to love this. Just reinstalled but now it doesn't open; just hangs on the title screen. Deleting it now. Too bad.

This app is in need of a serious update. Won't load videos. Last update was September. C'mon people. It seems like it's been abandoned. Showing the same stuff over and over. Will probably uninstall.

I had it installed months ago. Getting it to start was difficult and it never lasted long. Now I can't even load it. Far too unreliable. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

I don't know what happened but when I open up the app all I see is the word DISTRACTIFY and I can't move past it so I uninstalled it

Ive had this app for a while and it. used to work great. Now every time i try to open it says communication error, cannot open at this time. Please fix, I did love this app

Downloaded and tried to run. Can't get past the splash screen. Galaxy Note 4 with all updates applied. Also tried it on a Nexus 7 with the same result. Useless. Contacted the developer and no reply. Equally useless.

Was great, really enjoyed losing 20 mins in the posts but all of a sudden it now no longer loads. Comes up with some crappy error message once on the loading screen - sort it out!

I love having this app. It provides me with hours of entertainment while I am laid up at home with a back injury.

Won't open anymore. It's been like this for weeks now. I even contacted them directly about this and they never responded nor acknowledged me. Will be deleting. Sad, I loved this app.

Thought I'd give this another try as I really used to like it, but alas, the powers that be in all of their retardation have delivered a waste of data on the download for something that won't even open. That was the final chance, and I certainly won't be back again
