First, you sign up and are informed you are going to have 6 months for free. Then, you realise, it was not the case, and you pay 9.90 even for the first month of usage (in the end of the month). And 9.90 again in the beginning of the next one. Should you not have enough on our account (so you balance goes below zero), you won't even be able to cancel your subscription (only with positive balance you can do this opération). So you have to top-up, but it takes 3-5 working days! So you wait and pay.
Awesome app! -- [Edit 2020] New design (I wish I had the new credit card design!!), improved app, great service. There's still work to do but the pledge made is kept, and I am still very satisfied when traveling. Thank you Ditto!
This app will not sign you in unless VERY good internet connection.for a travellers' bank that is non sense.ditto being also not accessible on a pc,no way to access your account. Pass your way and sign up for a better off competitor
App just crashes constantly while applying. Now I've sent my ID in etc and support doesn't reply!
The newest version of the app is amazing! And the GOLD Mastercard is so helpful when you travel often!

Very complete app
March 2019 update: 1)Transactions still take forever to appear in the account. It's like those traditional banks that take two days to process and online transfer. I do not know how N26 does it where you see the transactions instantly. 2) Although it's an online bank, the digital banking API/interfaces are non-existent. HBCI/FinTS missing so I cannot use a banking app like Banking4A to summarize my expenses. You guys really need to innovate fast. You are already miles behind.
-Came back to update my review : I have never received my card, I had terrible communication with the agent over the phone and they charged me the money. BANK TO AVOID, OPT FOR IT JUST IF YOU WANT TO BE FRUSTRATED! - The application seems nice, I am waiting for to be approved.One suggestion. A side from the option to scan your documents it would be nice to have a option to upload your documents directly from your phone, I have all of them on my phone and it would be much easier like that.
