This is a Great app! Syncs great with my Mac and my Dive computer and my phone. Only thing that could make it better for me would be an imperial or metric option !!!
Good idea but lacks a ton of help menus to explain what some features do. An example would be the turn pressure alarm. I thought it meant the starting pressure of my dive when I turned on my tank valve but instead it means at what pressure I want to alert me at to start the turn around for my dive. Guess I would use that if doing navigation stuff, but still would be nice to have some help menus explaining what each setting means. I wondered why as soon as I started my dive the 3500psi turn pressure alarm would go off on me. On another note, I get a failed to update error trying to install the new update. Samsung Note 5.
Cloud backup/restore has never worked on any of my devices. Adding certifications, specifically pictures, is problematic. Pulling logs from dive computer is also spotty. Once I found and started using DiveMate, I was even more upset I wasted so much time and money on this app with severely flawed/broken 'features'.
Not bad but doesn't sync to Dive Cloud
Paired to my equally useless Oceanic VTX, Android Sony Xperia Z3+. DC says connected, phone says paired, Divelog says nothing. DC does not appear on Divelog paired list so unable to download any dives. Did actually work for the first three dives but not since. Update 12 June 2016 pelagic issued an update for Android 6.0 which achieved.........NOTHING! The customer service involved telling me the obvious then when the problem wasn't resolved they went quiet. Do not buy this app or the Oceanic VTX,
Lost dive info pay for dive cloud won't upload any dives to the dive cloud not happy now updated the divers log and nothing works
I originally fell in love with Diverlog on Mac and IPhone now that i switched to android i patiently waited for this app and am left disapointed. The main thing i use it for is syncing with a aeris a300 cs and it wont connect on here but still connects to iphone.
I have the DiverLog Android Version 1.0.7, and I have been using the DiverLog IOS Version which is also great. I have read about an issue of a Dive Computer not working with a download to DiverLog, but I have not had an issue with our Oceanic Veo 2.0 Computers. The App also works great with Manual Entry of the Dive Information with this Version, and with the DiverLog for IOS. DiverLog's colors are very bright & Sharp to look at, and the Icons at the bottom of the Window make it very easy to Navigate the Application and enter data. There are seven Categories to enter your Data from the Dive including Photos & YouTube Video. This is the best Digital Log that I have owned for ease of use & data entry. You actually get Support from Pelagic Pressure Systems, who also write the Software for the Oceanic Dive Computers. They are great at responding. and DiverLog won't disappear like a Dive Log that I used in the past. As a Diver/Divemaster for twenty-nine years, I highly recommend DiverLog. It is well worth the money for the peace of mind that it is supported, and the Application being supported for years to come.
The desktop version is quite nice, with the exception of not being able to sync to any other platform in existence. Setting that point aside, it's good. The mobile version is still in need of development as is DiveCloud. Dives sync without issue, however, nothing else does. No buddy info, no personal info, no certifications, and no PDC. Kind of disappointing as these items take some time and effort to set up. Get all this fixed and my rating goes to 5 stars.
So far can't upload any info to my DC using this app. Samsung S6 plus edge. Samsung Note 3. Got this to use with Bluetooth with Oceanic VTX. Does not work and zero information available to help with the problem.
I paid $12 for this app because it was advertised to work with my Oceanic VTX computer. Unfortunately, the app was never able to discover and connect to my computer via bluetooth. I like Oceanic products but this app is an embarrassment. I ended up using a third party app called "Dive Mate" which connected immediately. Dive Mate is free to use if you input all data manually but costs $27 for all transfer and export features. But, it actually works and has tons of options and features. So far it has worked flawlessly for bluetooth transfers and the graphical layout is above average.
Could not get the Bluetooth connection to work reliably. Pdc would say connected, app would say trying to connect. Sometimes handshake would cause pdc Bluetooth to reset. Could not upload settings to pdc. Only worked properly once, and not the first time. Tried 30+ times and reset both phone and pdc.
I understood that I would be able to upload and download my dive log. However this requires a paid subscription to dive cloud. Also made me look at my dives in feet not metres. This does not seem to be changeable. Expensive app that does little or nothing over the free version (which is also pretty clunky).
