it won't complete adding oceanic geo 4.0 as a new device. it was able to link via bluetooth gave me a code on my watch to pair but won't do the next step and add the watch. it just loops i have a samsung galaxy a21 i noticed that the company gives responses and am looking for help
Bluetooth takes patient and multiple tries to sync with i200c. At least it seems that you can now download dives using BT again.
It won't sync anything with my brand new i770r. This is crazy bad. It has no functionality for me right now.
I have yet to download logs from my computer. But the pairing was very easy and I can change setting from the app very easily. Superbe app. I have a aqualung i300c I will uptade this after I try to download the logs on it.
UPDATE: So... after 5 days the support team from Pelagic and I finally figured a process to connect the i770R AquaLung computer. While I am thankful for the support rep (Morales) for their professional attitude and diligence in finding a fix, I am disappointed that it took such an effort in the first place. When spending money on computer and sometimes a transmitter, the app portion should be easy as pie. The i330R computer connected perfectly fyi. Thank you Morales.
A recent update seems to have broken the dive site ability. This heavily impacts the usefulness of the app. The gear settings are also annoying because you have to save gear for each dive as a group, which is frustrating because I almost always rent gear so it's different. Other than that - it's nice to auto-download my dives. A few small, but critical, bugs and UX issues. Fix those and the app would be pretty good.
The mobile app and the PC version will not sync the user info. Which means you have to enter it over and over. Also, the signatures that you get from your dive Buddies do not transfer as well, so if you need to switch to a new phone you lose the signatures. Unfortunately electronic dive logs are not sophisticated enough yet to replace the traditional paper dive log.
Trying to record your dive sites with even remotely accurate GPS coordinates is often impossible. Once you enter a site name, the program pulls coordinates from somewhere entirely different and trying to correct them is an exercise in futility. The list of dives frequently renumbers itself out of the blue and I have to shut the app down to get it to correct itself. I have read reviews about the app not syncing via Bluetooth, but I have not experienced this issue with either of my computers.
The interface seems a bit clunky. my big complaint is the split responsibility between aqua lung and them (whom I understand is owned by aqua lung). Seemed fine until I started diving nitrox, then all my downloads went crazy and recorded erroneous information. Aqualung passed the responsibility to ediverlog, who's support was slow . They finally said a software update was needed. A month later an update is done. But why was a bug like this still in the software after a year. No confidence in it
The app UX design makes it difficult to add equipment if you use to dive with different material, for example because you rent it. The most pressing fix it needs is the Share button, which doesn't work (keeps loading forever and freezes the app). Aside from that it works very well.
Disappointing app for use with Aqualung i770r. Dives that I've not done appear in the log with no way to delete them. Not very user friendly. Computer app and mobile app not able to sync as for anything more than 7 dives a paid account is needed. Computer app has no way to change distance/temperature to metric/Celsius. Will stick to manual log book
I can't download the app. I checked my internet connection. It's fine. I'm using a 4G LTE wireless broadband. I'm able to download any other app, even larger apps in a few seconds, but for some reason this one continues "waiting for download" and stays there forever.
Doesn't sync, doesn't load computer or gear or any of the data for the desktop application. Will only sync 10 dives. Once syncs with the cloud, doesn't load computer or gear or any of the data from the desktop application. Even after syncing almost a hundred Dives, it only shows 10. This is a waste of time.
Was amazing, as it could connect to and read from my dive computer. But an update stopped letting me add dive sites, and it's only been frustrating since with trying to move data around.
Most of the issues have been fixed. My manually entered dives are still here. I purchased an Oceanic Pro Plus 4 and its working well with the app, but the app has been crashing a lot lately.
I must have tried to Bluetooth connect 10-20 times with the i300c. It just won't connect. I tried the DiveMate app and it connected right away so I know it's not the dive computer but the DiverLog+ app. Is there a fix to get the DiverLog app working?
I77r. Cannot connect via Bluetooth with Android phone or tablet
Wont connect to a $1400 DC!! Seriously fix this or hire someone that can!
Can't upload photos. Can't sign the dive log. Not very intuitive at all. Pretty much worthless, except it can sync with my Aqua Lung dive computer.
Was good until today but... I've downloaded the firmware suggested by the app for my oceanic Geo 4.0 and now nothing works. In fact, the app throws my computer into a BT pairing loop or had the screen on my computer show all 8s. What the hell?
Unable to even detect Oceanic VTX computer via Bluetooth. Although the light version didn't establish a connection, at least it displayed the serial number of the VTX.
Works fine for IOS, but fails to communicate with Android version. It will Pair ok, asking for the 4 digit code. But after that, when trying to synch, it always returns a communication error. Tried on 4 different Android phones, all the same result.
