Divide Diary
We're trying to rethink the process of writing in a diary. Instead of spending 30 minutes at the end of each to write, we think writing in short spurts is better. By writing a quick entry in-the-moment, you more accurately capture your state of mind.
We have all these routines for physical health such as brushing your teeth, going to the gym, stretching after sitting at your desk for too long. But we really don't take care of our emotional health in the same way.
Cleaning your mind should also be part of your daily routine. Our minds hold thousands of thoughts and emotions at any given time. We believe that these thoughts should be written down as a way of filtering and flushing out what are often negative vibes.
Divide Diary is your personal space, your personal Twitter, for mentally dumping your thoughts. Writing out what's on your mind can help you understand why you feel so emotionally charged. Sometimes all it takes is to write down how you feel in order to understand why you feel the way that you do.

I love it. Exactly what I needed. Wish I could see later months as well. When I press the infinity symbol it does pull up all the entries but they don't say the date or time they were posted. Other than that it's perfect. Thank you :)
Thank you for adding a backup and restore feature! This is one of the best apps I stumbled upon last year. I like being able to jot down quick things and knowing dates and whatnot. The color scheme also doesn't hurt!
I love this app a lot. I've been searching for something similar. I used to write my journal for years but lately I got busy and lazy.
Its a great start, rename the app (needs a better name for visibility) and keep it alive. Its better than 99% of the competition
I love this app! Thank you for leaving it in the app store, even after you decided to no longer support it. I've only just discovered it, this month, and I'm so glad I didn't miss out on it. I was able to back up my entries to my Google drive via an SGS5, and restore them on an LGG4. So it is working for me.
The app is great (love the color scheme) but the back up doesn't work and I would love to save my entries..
I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to say how much I like this app. Sad to read that it won't be updated anymore, I couldn't find writeaday on the store :(

Not a huge fan of how long notes are collapsed, and some more control over icons would be great, but all in all this is a fantastic, clean app for reflection
I've been using it for 3 days and it's already my favorite... but lately, the more I write the more laggy it'll be... it even 'not responding' to the point i can't even open the app... please fix this? And also I realize the more I write, the smaller space we got... why don't make it scrollable? I love the minimalistic design too, but the small space makes it harder to write cause I can't see more than one line... and also can we choose the icon?? THANK YOU!!
Just a log. No emotions attached, nothing connects, nothing special. You could take log notes on your notepad. As someone who kept diaries since 3rd grade (10 years) i would say its too cold for a diary. Its just an event log with no flow or record of how events make you feel. How can the day or person be justified down to notification log
It might not be suited for everyone, but I highly recommend giving it a try. Dev is absolutely awesome and respods to everything. If nothing else, I respect the effort put into this, immensely!
Clean design. Developer responds to feedback and updates app. Just added Cloud Backup which is awesome feature.
I really like this app and it is much easier to keep a diary with it. However, and I don't know if it's just me, but when it write something long, I can't read the whole thing. Can someone help me out with this?
Very simplistic, handy, and has wonderful themes and is an uncomplicated system. The developer takes criticism well, which is a big plus for me. Only issue I've having is when I type a long entry, for it sometimes freezes for about two seconds as if it needs an extra moment to input everything I type. But it is very infrequent and is not disruptive. Overall it is a wonderful app that I would highly recommend :)

This app makes journaling fun by making it instinctual and impulsive, unlike traditional end-of-day habitual record keeping. Sorta like Snapchat meets your thoughts. Only critique is that the lock should probably be a free feature, but besides that this is a beautiful, intuitive app that's a pleasure to use. (THANK YOU FOR FUTURA)
I'm so happy I was able to find this app but, since I know I'm going to be placing a lot of entries into this app I want to save them. However, it is tiring having to constantly backup the entries. I wish we could just link the app to our email in some way so it's saved.
