Dividend Tracker

Dividend Tracker app allows you to create multiple lists of stocks and view their dividend payment history. You can view a stock's prospective yield based on the dividend payment history and sort your stock list by name or yield. The app allows you to enter a number of shares owned for each stock and view annual dividends and upcoming dividend payments. The detail screen allows you to add a note for each symbol. To remove a stock from your list do a long click on a stock symbol in the list. You can delete stock categories if they are empty. Go to Settings-> Manage Categories and do a long click on a category name to bring up a category delete dialog. A simple click will display a Category Rename dialog.Dividend Tracker can display an average dividend yield in each stock category. Go to Settings to turn this feature on.The app displays 3-month, 6-month, 1-year and 5-year charts with the 50-day EMA. You can view the 200-day EMA and create your own custom EMA. You can also view the RSI and MACD.
The stock detail screen shows 5 year average dividend, 3 and 10-year dividend growth. The 10-year dividend growth option needs to be turned on in the Settings screen. This option also allows you to see 10 year dividend history.

A stock return calculator is available through the options menu. By default it calculates a 5-year stock return with dividend reinvestment but you can select a longer or a shorter period. You can add your own number of shares. If you don't, the default amount of $10,000 will be used. The latest version allows you to select your country in the settings which will filter search results by that country or countries. If you clear all the check boxes no filter is applied.

You can use the app both in portrait and landscape mode. The app uses stock symbols and financial data from the Yahoo Finance. No login is required.

If you have multiple devices, you can transfer your stock list from one device to another. Go to Settings -> Import/Export Your Stock List. Use the Export button first to save the stock list on your device or Google Drive, and then use the Import button to transfer the stock list to another device.

P.S. Lately the Yahoo has not been providing up-to-date dividend pay data. If you are experiencing any problems you need to go to the detail page for each individual stock and wait for a few seconds until you see the latest dividend date on the screen. Once you do that the dividend calendar should display the proper dates. The Canadian stocks experienced similar problems with dividend amount. The same solution applies.

For me, this app works very well. I would like to see a list of market indexes though. Perhaps a future update? The ability to set a targeted alarm for a watched stock would also be helpful.

Over all the app is useful, I use it almost daily, main parameters of dividend stocks are displayed

Good but tempremental. After adding all my stocks which are from the NYSE and the London Stock Exchange, when I click on portfolio charts, it just says there's nothing to show. No idea why. Also I don't think the avg Yeild is accurate. Very promising app though. Keep up the good work 👍

this app does not move the stock from one folder to another folder you have to re look up the stock to manually put it into a new folder. it would be nice if you can also select more than one stock at a time to move to a folder. This app cannot handle over 200 stocks the app starts to shut down constantly and refuses to open, stocks has to be deleted in order for the app to work. This issue needs to be fixed.

I have been using this App for a while now and it is ok. Can't find a help file for adding new additional Stocks purchased recently that I already own. Different cost base, etc. it tells me I already have this stock but it was purchased at a different price. Need to add a purchase date and cost per unit of the additional stock as I buy. How do you use the Stock Split function, the screen doesn't give enough information of what to enter. Please add a comprehensive help file. Otherwise great for free.

I love this app. I get what Google and Yahoo Finance doesn't give me... as a dividend income investor the info I'm most interested in is presented on one screen with one touch. I also have separate watchlists on my main screen for my current portfolio and for the growth stocks I'm watching. If I could add one thing to the detail screen it would be a listing for the beta of each company. ... app keeps crashing since this last update (7/6/19)... Update 7/7/19 update fixed crashing.

Too much information on stock, such as price change , % change and yes even price. I don,t need all that info from a dividend tracker, I need dividend info. I want the ex date, the pay date, the div amount and my monthly income, all of that on the front page where it is easy to see. I have the feeling you dont actually own any dividend stocks.

Very nice app. Just learning the menus - but seems to have the ability to show my monthly dividends. Is there a way to put in the purchase date to show only the valid history of my shares? If you purchase stock in November, I do not necessarily want the history for that year, so I can know the actual dividend balance for my shares purchased.

I want to save my portfolio and move it to another device or print. As this functionality and I would pay for a premium version. Monitze I love the application just needs additional functionality.

As I'm currently learning and understanding the stock market and everything relatable I am finding this tool worthy of not only a review but a four star review. Way too many ads sadly but an amazing tool for compiling your dividend information and receiving visual feedback on your customized portfolio. (Could use a help/"legend" section to explain specific information and areas.

In general is does white it's supposed to, which can be a major accomplishment in itself. My only improvement request would be a version you could buy without ads.

Dividend history is now current. Thanks developers for this correction to app. Oops, spoke too soon. Dividends are totally missing for a mutual fund that previously showed correct dividend history. Let's keep the 5 stars awhile in Hope's the numbers will show up again. Well, dividend history for a fidelity fund I'd still not showing up. The dates the capital gain paid shows up, but not the amount of the long term capital gain. I'm dropping the rating to two stars.

Good because with baltic stocks. But not good because no dividend pay day data.

App works as intended but i invest in both US and Canadian stocks... but my portfolio just says multiple currencies detected. It would be great to have a currency converter to whatever you choose or, just show both side by side. Even let me make a seperate portfolio for anothrr country... other than that great app 👍 ads are short

Tii. D. Jun 11, 2020

Good app but please add default currency option so app shows all portfolio stocks in same currency because now it doesn't show the total value right since some are on different currencies and it doesn't convert it.

Dav. T. Apr 30, 2020

Useful but missing data. Misses quite a few NON-US listings. Wish it could show dollar value of dividends and multi currency as well.

Simple interface, easy to use. Would like a paid version to get rid of ads.

I've been using the app for a number of years now. It's easy to set up and follow, but, best of all, the information is comprehensive and accurate: an indispensable resource for investors.

Dividend Tracker is the Real Deal, the rest of apps are more like games in comparison and you won't be able to find as many securities listed the way you will with Dividend Tracker. Download today, look no further!

Great app, but agree about date format; also, I'm ok with ads but could you maybe default them to muted please? Very distracting to have to hunt down the ad's mute button whilst wife is trying to watch her soaps!
