Really clean and functional user interface, syncing with PC app, AND great tech support - Sven is very responsive (for questions, etc.)
This app used to be an iPhone only app. So when I switched sides and bought an Android phone I tried all the competing apps. This turned out to be a complete let down. I was shocked to see how many total unusable apps existed for something as simple as this. This app has everything I need. Interfaces with ALL the computers you can imagine and has a great desktop counterpart.
Very compelling app. After testing almost all popular diving apps this one is most promising with all essential features. The only thing I wish it had was looking up dive sites by name with geolocations like a reference database and a built in database of marine life to choose from. Right now we have to add dive sites manually. Syncs well with my dive computer. UI is basic but works well. Could benefit from a more improved design.
Good app but could use some enhancements. It would be nice if gear configurations could be saved then applied at a single touch instead of entering suit, weight, tank size seperately. Also if a dive site could be defaulted to one type of entry, one altitude, one gear configuration it would be much easier to use. For example if I dive the house reef at my LDS, it is always salt water, sea level, shore entery, 11 l tank, 5 kg weight and no dive suit. But I have to enter all that seperately.
Great app for what I use it for: store and sync my dive log with my Windows app.
This app and the Windows companion app makes it possible to basically do anything you can think of and more. I downloaded from my dive shop rented zoop novo to my phone with no issues. I had a synchronizing issue between windows and Android so I went to the website and submitted a bug report and within 24 hours the developer had a fix available in an Android update. Well worth buying the Windows companion and app license. The developer has stayed active and is active now (Written May 2022).
Longtime user of ios version, and equally impressed by the android version. Only drawback is lack of wifi synchronisation in-built (have to use dropbox instead) and needing to pay £2.49 to edit dives is frustrating. Easily the best smartphone dive log app, especially when used in conjunction with the pc application.
Perfect app for capturing the dive when it is fresh and filling in details for the logbook. I love how the tree view has now been introduced to help browsing as well. As the desktop version writes to an Access Database when you synch, it is very easy to display info in Excel or PowerBI - highly recommended 👍👍
So far, so good! I hesitated buying the app until i found a crappy logbook at the dive shop for twice the money. Only problem I'm encountering is a lack of easy user support. Also, I downloaded the windows version after i purchased the app and it's asking me to purchase it again on my laptop. Waiting for support. Again. Still
Great app giving all the functionality needed for rec diving. Only issue is that it is seeming to require me to buy it again having moved it to a new phone when I want to add a new dive. This doesn't seem fair. Is there anything I am missing here
The only app and PC combo that works seamlessly with the equipment I had/have. I had over 50 dives on my old Mares Puck. I had downloaded them to Mares Dive Organizer (DO). With DO, I was only able to synch with the Mares app for iPhone. I have an android phone, so I was out of luck. But DL enabled me to get the dives that I'd already customized and corrected in DO and transfer them to DL. Then I was able to synch with the DL android app. AND, I can now synch directly to my phone via Bluetooth.
Its a shame that when you switch phones and still use the same OS, all the logged dives get deleted and then I realized there was no option to create an account where it would be stored in the cloud. Lost about 200 entries :(
I have used this log for many years and been extremely happy with it...then I changed my phone, what a disaster (for me) I'm such a technophobe!!! Fortunately I got in touch with Sven and he VERY PATIENTLY talked me through the whole process via email (he even got a Mac specialist to help me sync my android log with my Mac log) What an absolute STAR, he never gave up and went that extra mile...not often that happens nowadays!!! Thank you so much Sven, this is such a brilliant app!
Love this app. Easy to use. Versatile. Best of all, I can sync my phone, my laptop, and the cloud so my data is accessible everywhere.
So far pretty robust app and I managed to import all my Liquivision X1 logs though I did have to convert them first. Next test will be Liquivision Xeo. Relatively easy to synch between the mobile and desktop amd ios dive log app though automating this would be ideal. Also support for tech dives (CCR, multiple gases) would be nic. Still, best Windows / Android Dive Log I've come across to date though it comes at a price. To cover the 3 platforms (PC, Android, iOS) I've paid about AUD 100 so far.
It looks cool but it only has Dropbox support for synchronization, and that's a no-go for me. Why not integrate with other backup solutions like drive?
Great app. Was able to import 0ver 12 years worth of dives from 3 different computers and have all available for viewing and history.
For me is the one, is fast, simple and keeps my data in Dropbox. An improvement could be a dark theme.
Great App - although I rarely dive, I have been using it for years and my dive data is always there through Dropbox synchronisation. Thanks
Great app! Dives transfer seamlessly via Dropbox from Diving Log 6.0 on the PC. Can't wait for the Downloader to be out of beta. Hint Shearwater computers first
I changed phones. I then used dropbox to transfer my logbook. It says it worked but there is nothing in my log, anywhere.
Really solid dive app. It would be awesome if you could tag dive sites using GPS, but other than that, it's great. Worth paying for!
Just started using along side paper log book, seems to work fine, buddy info needs medical, insurance detail to be included on any update along with adding photos. It works for me
Ok, but lacks search function. This is vital for a dive app. edit: see Sven's comment. Wasn't aware of search there, sovthat is neat. However, would be nice to see associated dives with site, buddy, etc (and/or a generic search on dives)
Great app, very intuitive and easy to use. Recommend to new, and expirenced divers alike.
great app for all levels, easy to use, simple but good layout, it keeps getting better with every update (Please add Dark Mode Sven)
I wanted to test this app but found the trial too limited. I tried to download the dives from my new dive computer. The app allows only a few dives to be downloaded, even though all 10 were ticked. Sadly the dives imported were all test dives done in a pool - a max of 2 metres / 10 seconds. There was nothing useable there. It won't let me try again so I can't test it. I'll move on and look elsewhere. I think the developer should reconsider the very limited trial.
