I wish I could choose which account I see first on startup, and have that choice be persistent for subsequent startups. There also seems to be a minor error that, when I chose an account and then navigate through a few menus then press 'back' the app will revert back to a different account - not the same account I chose and was attempting to modify. But, otherwise great app! A bit slow at times, but I've been able to get the information I need, and perform service request functions efficiently.
This app is absolute garbage. For something as simple as paying a bill online you have to climb some obstacles. Accidentally mistyped a number at any point? Well you can't simply backspace without clearing the entire section. For some reason you have to hit space twice sometimes. I tried paying a bill and at the very end, accidentally hit terms and services and when I backed out it sent me back to the log-in. I'm literally trying to hand you money, DLC, and you're making it infuriating.
Poor technology, follows the same pattern as all their offerings. Electric usage is reported with the incorrect date, rather than helping you to lower usage you're given bad data that misleads you. I reported the issue, they got back to me right away, apologized multiple times but have not corrected the problem weeks later. Update: I provided the requested information. The date field in the usage details is mislabeled by 1 day. Usage for 03/05/22 is reported as 03/06/22. Misinformation.
Latest version is horrible..97% of the time it doesn't load padt the opening splash screen, if you do luck out and get into the app viewing your bill or previous bills is seemingly always unavailable
I have tried multiple times to transfer an account so I can begin paying. I am days away from a shutoff notice. I entered all of my information into the app and never received a confirmation email. I cannot transfer my account through the app despite what the automated message says when I call. I have been hung up on multiple times after waiting on hold and waiting for a call back. I have never once spoken to a human being. I paid my bill as soon as possible after my landlord had to bill me.
App won't open past the image of the city with the dlc logo at the bottom. If you want a dlc screen saver this is awesome! If you're trying to pay a bill it is not. App worked fine last month, I don't know what happened since. Just updated today and still nothing.
I wish I could give it a ZERO! I've been trying to log in for weeks and all I get is an error code and to call dlc. This is such an inconvenience! "Error occured while logging in, please try again later" is what I've been getting for weeks. Can you say "late fees"! Horrible app!
Had some troubles logging in, at first the app kept telling me it couldn't log in. When i tried on my ipad it worked perfectly so i knew the username and pass was right. Decided to just use the web portal instead from my phone which worked just fine. I then attempted to login one more time from the android app and after i logged in from the web one time from the phone the login from the app suddenly started to work so now its fine.
Completely useless. If you manage to log in...(( BIG IF!) Every time you try to make payment, you select your card from wallet, then it says no card in wallet to enter whole number... with nowhere to put number in then you have to use a browser to correct your informatio that is, in fact there and correct.... why do I need an app to open a browser window? Why is it so difficult for this company to get anything right?
It doesn't use the user name and password that is used for the online account. It asks for the account number and ZIP code, which is annoying. But even with the account number and ZIP code, all I get is a message about an unknown error occurring. The Web page account access works fine. I uninstalled the app.
This app sucks. I'll stick to paying my bill by mail. I tried to create/register my account plugged in all the info set up security questions and it says error. Had the same issue months ago trying to set up my account on the app. Trying to make my bills more convenient. Not this bill. Ridiculous. This is what we pay for smh.
This app is total garbage. Backing out to check the total of your bill or any other information instantly resets it. Trying to log in has been a total hassle and when i use the forgot password option it asks for my username. I can enter any gibberish in the box and it goes ahead and asks me security questions i never gave answers for. Then when i enter my email to send me a username i never recieve said email ive tried over 10 times.
Terrible App: I was given a new password for the updated app, the password doesn't work and I definitely wrote it correctly. I submitted my email to have the password reset and was told my email doesn't exist. The former app before this newest update worked!
Terrible app. Wont let me log in. Even after resetting the password multiple times I still get a message saying that it Is wrong. The app is broken and has been for the last 4 months! Get it together DLC!
I am having trouble logging into my account it keeps saying my password and username is incorrect when I know it isn't. This is such a terrible app I called DLC and told me unfortunately they can't do anything about my problem unless im calling to pay a bill. How am I suppose to pay a bill or know how much I owe when your app isn't working.
I have been trying to log in for a week! All I get is an error message. I just updated the app refreshed and it is still the same error message.....I will send an email.
I can pay my bill in less than 60 seconds. Easy to use and very convenient!
Cannot log on at all!!! I get sent a code and it does not work!!! Pointless

It sucks. I will NOT let me print out my bill..!! It is as bad as trying to call any of their phone numbers. They hide and direct you to their website..!! Get some one live to answer the phone first..! Then get the department live person to answer the call. Stop telling me to call another number with no live person just more prerecorded messages to prompt me to press a number and get another prerecorded message to call another over and over again..! You wonder why everyone hates to deal with you
App keeps crashing. Need to uninstall and reinstall it everytime it happens. Update: DLC reached out to me and is working on my issue.
This app used to be solid. It's trash now. Won't allow same day payment and date select and when I schedule the payment it says error. You want my money but can't even keep an app up to speed 🚮🚮
The only options the Schedule payment screen offers are: to Select a bank account or Add bank account. I wish to schedule my payment by credit card but there is no such way. Then why is it advertised? "Scheduling" means ability to pay on selected calendar date, not same-day payment.
Terrible, I have troubles logging in constantly. What is the point of having an app for this if I have to update it every single month anyway? -this is an edit on my review, still updating once a month to pay my bill, still have to try to log in 5 times

Update- It's working now. Apparently it was just that their login server was down. After updating, I can no longer login. It says "an error occurred while logging in, please try again"

this is the worst app , downloaded it followed all instructions , now it wont let me login or reset my password , doesnt give the correct security questions ....dont use this app.cant go on line to the duquesne light app wont let you in with out logging in ,if you cant login how are you suppose to pay your bill this company and its app are terrible
Spare your self the time, just installed it waited for 5 minutes to get to the login page, at which point it simply timed out,, better off dealing with their clunky website barely works and has no flow but at least it works unlike this soft steamer of an app Update and response to DLC developer, I am not wasting any of my time conversing with you on this subject, I already described my problem, my personal account information is irrelevant to the problem, as I can not even log in
Quick and easy way to report outages, show where they are located and the number of residents affected. Shows the amount of your bill and has a beautiful picture of the city of Pittsburgh! The best functional app I've seen and NO ADS!!!Priceless.
