I like the DMI data because it is reasonably accurate (better than YR) but the app is very much mediocre. It takes a lot of time to load (on an high-end phone) and then it usually displays a connection error. The UI is okay, though it is very strange that it switches to portrait mode on the graph view which I find very annoying (and the graph itself looks hideous). Would be nice if there was an English translation.
Still prefer the old simple version without snazzy graphics, the bar chart was always the best bit, and that it showed many days, the issue with the overly complex graphics is obvious as it now requires landscape for 2 days when you got a whole week in portrate. You could see at a glance when you could work outside, now it requires gloves off and lots of fiddling through individual days and scrolling. Oh and it drops connection a lot, not my system - the app does
The app shows what's needed if you know how to navigate. One very big issue is is speed of loading.. this is mainly due to the ads that load and then shift the thing you click on either freezes to resize the whole screen because of the ad or you inadvertently click on the ad. I don't understand why a state owned organization is allowed to have ads in the first place.
On phones which support gesture navigation but are configured to use "classic" 3-button navigation, the OS-level navigation button bar hides the app's bottom navigation bar. It looks like the app uses screen size instead of canvas size. For me, this means: No way to switch to map view (i.e. no radar images etc) because the buttons cannot be accessed.
The weather graphs on dmi are the absolute best way to see everything happening at once, easily and clearly. No other weather app anywhere does this as well. They're truly brilliant. BUT, they need to be on a home screen widget so you don't have to dig through the app all the time.
Good features. But takes a long time to load/start, and it shows a connection error toast every single time, even though there is seemingly no problem at all.
I really like your weather info. as it has been just fantastic weather this summer. I like the layout but it would be great to have it in English as well. You would then have a lot more swedes using your app. Personally I like learning danishThank you for the very informative app and the good weather.
App is functional and somewhat easy to use. Takes a bit time to get to know. Local weather conditions and wind is slightly inaccurate but good enough for sailing and predicting danger zones at sea. Complexity is well suited for sailing. No ads is a big plus.
Mostly useless. frequent crashes, no widgets, no "rain in your area in x minutes" warning. The warnings it does have will pop up constantly when pertinent, instead of just once. There is no reason to install this app, the website can be used instead.
For the last 2 months : Very often timeout or extremely show to update. Radar sometimes doesn't load at all. I also miss the risk of rain in the main forecast. Very often I've been caught in a shower, with no rain in the main forecast, but opening the wide-screen detailed graph showed the risk of rain to be there
The app tends to freeze when scrolling down to see the weather of the following days. And at times when the app opens, it is complete empty and void of any weather data. Seems it could use some further development.
It's a decent app with good info, but the UI could be more intuitive. Especially in terms of rainfall forecast. I find the 48 hr graph and the daily forecasts often give very different impressions of how much rain to expect.
Pretty design in the new version, has destroyed functionality. The radar-map is good, but it would be nice if it was able to remember configurations.
it flips the screen layout into landscape mode when tilted, regardless of device settings. horribly annoying "feature". otherwise a great app
Must be the only weather app out there without a widget! Also, what is up with the frequent connection error popup. On plus side there are many nice features
The radar is really useful. Minus a star as the app tends to be buggy (usually forbindelses fejl) or very slow to load but after waiting a bit it usually loads.
A bit janky (doesn't always switch from horizontal to vertical mode when I rotate my phone) but otherwise does what you'd expect from a weather app.
App stuck at start (blue) screen. - The logo is really pretty though. 2 stars.- Edit: App works again (Android 10). Adjusted the rating. Thanks for the reply.
Personally found to be the most reliable of all the weather apps. Still a mystery to me why there are so many conflicting forecasts between other apps.
I like the App and use it everyday. Simple and has the right features for someone who wants to check the weather before a run or bike to work.
you had an app which gave me a good fast overview! now I have an app, where I need to spend time trying to interpret the visualizations. And where's the live radar with rain? world record in degrading an app with a new version :-(
Shows the basic. But much more information could be provided. Also lacks settings for defaults and startup page.
The interface is not very intuitive. And the graphics/animation of the weather could be much better
Terrible update, the only improvement is the size of the add: they are much bigger... I regret the charts to visualise forecast for the next 15 days in 2 seconds.
This app is just a poor piece of coding in so may ways. Kind of works, but the developers should really brush up on basic usability guidelines. Amazing that something this petty can be made by a big institution like DMI.
Real good app. Very useful , functional and informative. Provides accurate information.
