The practice tests are really useful, and the sound that it makes when you get it right is cheerful. If you don't like the sound, you can turn your notification sound off to silence it. It is very easy to use, and it also has a "wrongly answered question" feature that retests you on the questions that you missed on your last practice test. Overall, I really like this app, and I found it very useful
After the update the app got better. People keep complaining about the amount of ads but there really isn't a lot. I used it without any problems, and never ran into some of the reoccurring "issues" other people seem to be having. I love this app, it's great and very educational. It seems like the kids using this are having more trouble than most lol. Get an ad blocker if it's such an issue.
At the information of the different signs it said it had pictures and explanations of what they mean but they all only said the bare minimum, or if it had words on the sign, it was exactly what was on the sign. And I did the test option where it acts like a test and at the end it said I had answers wrong when I picked the right answer and that I picked a completely different answer! I was very disappointed with this. And I know it said it contains ads before installing, but jeez there were way too many ads. And on some questions for both practice and test, there will be the question and the answers and an answer could be completely weird and not fit with the question, but then be right!
The test has many spelling errors throughout, but none bad enough to take away from the meaning of each question. It's very helpful in a sense that it has about every question you could be asked in your dmv exam. However it will also say you clicked a different response in the exam portion of the app. Simply click the score card and check the ones marked wrong to see if the wrong answer was the choice you actually selected. If you can get past those two things it's a really helpful app.🤷♀️👏👏
a very mediocre app. good at first but here are the problems: 1.) Repeatedly asks the same questions. This can be very frustrating especially since some of the questions repeated are fairly simple such as sign meanings. 2.) Some of the answer options are glitched/have problems. 3.) Some parts which are meant to display an image of a signal/sign do not show up. 4.) Some parts have broken English.
It's pretty helpful, I do wish that there were less spelling errors or cut off sentences though. I'd also really love for them to give an "I don't know" option and explain the answer. However, I do prefer this app over others. I appreciate the favorites section where you can mark questions you missed for review. There could be some improvements but nonetheless still effective and useful. There are ads like other reviewers have mentioned but quite honestly it's not that bad at all.
It's a super helpful, super well made app! This app is really good to help you study for a drivers or permit test especially if you dont neccesarily enjoy reading the drivers manual like me. There's no downsides to this app, there's a ton of different features you can use including a practice test, you can heart questions you're struggling on, etc. The ads are short and most of the time, you dont even have to wait to close them, and they are very minimal. I definitely recommend getting this app!
I personally like the app and find it useful, however, there are a few flaws. The sign section doesn't show what the sign means, just the shape of it. Like the merge sign says "Adjacent angled arrows" Also, the ads are excessive and irrelevant. Other than that, I do recommend.
Its cool but I didn't like being timed on the exam because it made me nervous. The ads weren't that bad I've seen worse and everyone has to be used to ads by now because they are everywhere. Its free and it has just about the same questions as a paid version. So give it a try I've downloaded a couple of free ones and this seems to be the best by far.
This app helped me alot and its good for people just starting to learn about driving. It introduces you to the basics and helps you prepare for driving exams. It has reminders to practice and you can even find your nearest DMV. You can set the day of your exam and it will constantly remind you to practice to help you pass it. It has all the traffic signs and a question bank, you can even go back to the questions you answered incorrectly. I really like this app and it was very helpful. 👍

I also Love the feature where it keeps track of questions I got wrong to look back on and study different than other apps or sites. Its 400 Questions on the practice which I find smart because thats the whole DMV book. You can take your time and take section by section and it saves your progress/place of where you were and can continue the test anytime
This is a very useful app. It's easy to use and makes studying for the CA DMV driving license test so much easier than using the handbook. I moved from another state and was surprised at the questions on the CA test. I took it twice and didn't pass. I have one more shot at it. A friend recommended this app. I'm so happy to discover it. I test again tomorrow and I feel confident I will do well. I highly recommend this app for anyone needing to study for the CA DMV test.
This is a charming app. In my mid-age, the last thing I desire is the back handed compliment. This app doesn't do that. Pleasant reminders, encouraging words, characters smiling, all included when training with this app. Study on the fly or set a schedule, all right here. It was once said, "To drive or not to drive?" Well, we'll see about that. At least now I am more confident.
This is really helpful but when the app give questions of hand signals, the reading is wrong from the picture. For example: The driver left arm is extended downward, but in the picture the driver left arm is extended upward and its confusing. A major bug, please fix!
its a great app, very helpful but two things wrong. After a practice test i can go to the scorecard but i cant exit out of the scorecard to the home page of the app, nor can i use the try again button. The other thing is that i can send feedback because there is no email to send feedback to. Do i just send it to DMV? do you see the problem there? I just think that if you fix these problems then ill change my opinion on the app rating. Thank you.
Soooo, glad to see this I really needed a refresher course but as I take the test each time I'm understanding it a lot better. a good app to download and study especially with all the new signs coming out. I found if you put your phone in airplane mode you don't get all the ads and it works out good
Not bad at all for those looking for there permit and driver license, it offers a variety of things you are needing to know without always looking at a study guide. They have a randomized exam for you to practice, a practice where they throw you all 400 questions, a menu where you can look at all of your wrong questions so you can study, and more. I suggest you give this app some of your time because it's really reliable. And probably on of the easiest ways to learn how to drive.
Amazing app. Lets you choose what state you live in so you can study by the rules of your state. Lets you mark and save what you got wrong. Almost no ads and when you do get one its just an image that you dont have to wait to skip. Allows you to study by category from things like street signs to what the hand signals used by other drivers mean. You can take a practice test as many times as you want for free. I highly suggest downloading this app for any upcoming drivers.
As a Sophomore in high school, I find this a very exciting and important part of my life. I would love it if I can use this app without having an ad every five seconds. It is distracting and may cause me, and others not to do as well. Please don't use teenagers education as free real estate, I understand a few ads, because I know you gotta make money somehow, however within not even my first 30 seconds of opening this app I'm faced with a mayrid of ads, please take a chill pill.
There are a ton of errors. One question literally shows a picture of a no wifi signal instead of a road sign. I'm not mistaken or joking. It even has the words "No internet connection" under the little grey fan. The answer bank for what this should be is: Don't drink and drive, road slippery when wet and you are approaching an uphill. This was the last straw after an insane amount of ads and a ton of text errors in the previous questions.
some of the questions are irrelevant but the format is definitely cleaner than other dmv apps. this was my go to and i like that i was able to keep doing questions consecutively without ad interruption. i wish there was a section just for reading your states dmv manual by the book.
I am not sure all the information here is correct, especially on the timed 50 question practice. I believe the makers of this app have made mistakes in the correct or incorrect answers. There were choices that I chose and after reviewing the missed questions, well they weren't even the choice I had originally chose.
It's a fun app, good for a refresher on driving and traffic rules. There is a 10-question test option to see how well you know driving rules in random situations. You need to get at least a 60% to pass, though there isn't feedback on each answer. Or, you can practice answering random questions indefinitely through their question pool, receiving immediate feedback on each answer as you go. My non-driving children like to check their knowledge and suppositions with the app.
It is helping me click my brain into working passing the practice exam. Hoping when I do get all of my stuff together. I'll pass the exam when I take the written and driving test. Thank you so much for this lovely app. I love how you can go back and check your wrong answers and correct them. Great app!!!! I would definitely recommend.
i have all of the "notifications for this app turned off. apparently there are 3 locations within the app to disable notifications. but yet like clockwork, every day. i get spammed with notifications. good for driving tests but you get annoying notifications that you cant turn off.
Definitely 8/10!!! I was super nervous for my test but I knew I was smart enough to pass so I didn't want to spend hundreds on classes. Thanks for this app I could study on my free time efficiently and effectively. It's realistic to the exam. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars 10/10 is because some of the questions needa be fixed. Has two answers identical or pictures never pop up. Otherwise - Solid.
I bombed the test twice after completing the 400 questions with minimal mistakes. The Dui and BAC were not accurate to the real dmv test. All the other questions were accurate, but the app spent way too much time on signs and their meanings
This app is terrible. If you actually want to succeed, don't use it. It would say my answer was correct on the practice part, but when I went to the exam section, it marked almost every single one of my answers wrong even though I knew they were correct. This is terrible.
On my 3rd question in on the practice quiz. It asked what this warning sign means. But the problem is there was no warning sign. It wouldn't show any picture anywhere. So I closed and opened the app and tried again. Same question, no picture. Idk if it's a bug or my phone wasn't loading. Idk. But I wish it was fixed.
If you need to show ads, at least don't make them be video ads. That's frustrating and wastes data. A small non-tracking, non-intrusive, non-video ad that doesn't take much of the screen up is fine but anything with video, intrusions, tracking, sound, or that takes up a lot of the screen isn't ok. Also, please add a dark mode. Thank you.
