Our on-the-spot DNA cartridge is placed inside the NudgeBox to analyse the relationship between various genetic health traits and nutrition.
DNA Report
Learn your risk of obesity for example and how sensitive your health is to the effects of calories, fat, saturated fat, carbohydrates, sugar and salt.
Scan
Scan the barcodes of food and drink products using your phone’s camera or the DnaBand. Every time you scan a barcode, our algorithms look at thousands of ‘parameters’ to deliver a precise recommendation based on your DNA.
The DnaBand
The DnaBand is a wearable DNA-based product recommendation device. The band works in the same way as your DnaNudge App: you can scan product barcodes using the DnaBand’s built-in camera to instantly find out if the product is suited to your genetic profile. Green is good. Red - not so good.
Your DnaBand also relates sitting time to nutrition via your DNA, therefore introducing your lifestyle into product recommendations. It can help you to set goals to sit less throughout the day and encourage you to move more. If you do not reach your goals, you will find your product recommendations will change from green to amber.

NudgeMatch is a way to connect with other DnaNudge users through your DnaBand. See how similar or dissimilar you are to your friends and family.
Nudging
DnaNudge is designed to work alongside your normal shopping patterns. This means, if you’ve decided you want crisps, instead of telling you not to have them, DnaNudge will suggest alternative crisps that would be better suited to your genetic make-up.

can't pair with the dna band. Managed to pair it once, the app decided to forget about it and have now been trying to connect it for about 15mins with no luck - tried deleting and re-installing the app, but no luck. The DNA report was very generic as well - was hoping to understand things link how I process gluten, wheat and dairy per my DNA but none of that information is provided - just a generic "you have medium tolerance for carbohydrates" - well thanks a lot I had no idea.
Initially could use the app, but after a few weeks app has stopped working. Have removed and reinstalled numerous times a d still does not work.
Wonderful product, it has been keeping me active and healthy. I particularly like the sedentary feature, the DNA band nudges me to live a better lifestyle. Thank you!
I am having Bluetooth connectivity problems , any ideas ? Bluetooth says connected in Bluetooth settings however app just can't pick it up?

After some initial issues with Android OS, which were quickly and helpfully sorted by customer services, I love this app. What would make it even better would be if it warned you if an item had already been bought. As my list of items grow, I am unlikely to remember everything which could make the list quite long with lots of duplicates. I look forward to it getting better and better!
