Several features set this app apart from others in the category. This application was written with security in mind. As such, it requires just a few permissions to read user's contacts, calendar and to send and receive SMS. Most other apps require network permissions, and some need access to SD storage, which allows them to transfer any of the personal data from the phone unnoticed. This app can't do that, so you can rest assured that your personal data is safe.
This app offers a lot more than Do Not Disturb Mode on the iPhone or Samsung’s Blocking Mode:
* It can keep the phone silent during office hours, meetings or calendar appointments, and for the night
* It can keep the phone silent & vibrate all day and go completely silent for the night
* It mutes phone calls and all audible notifications during quiet time, except alarms

Certain Samsung phones have issues with vibrate mode. If your phone doesn't vibrate when you enable vibration in this Do Not Disturb app, change vibration settings in your phone's system settings/sounds menu.

Please don't block this app's notifications on your phone, it can cause the app to not work correctly. Also note that if you have a task killer/booster type of app installed on your device, add this Do Not Disturb app to the list of exceptions. Finally, make sure you don't have other apps that manipulate the speaker running at the same time.

This worked fine initially and I don't see any ads, however it's not made clear that it is a trial version and has in app purchase and so many features stop 🛑 working after a few weeks. The basic version is OK 🆗 and I would buy the pro version but I think it's deceiving by not making it clear that you have to pay
Flawed attempt. While this app sounds great it has a fundamental flaw. When do not disturb is disabled the phone then makes a sound indicating it is no longer on silent, this is even if there have been no notifications during the silent period. This means that if the period that you need to phone to be on silent is longer than expected it will be disturbed everytime. If this could be fixed i would re review as the app itself looks powerful.
I got this to ring my phone once. It vibrates all the time but doesn't ring my phone. The native DND on my Samsung phone works fine. The directions seems simple. I've made various test calls toggling various settings and it is not consistent in ringing my phone, only vibrating.
This app does not mute the sounds. It works by pausing notifications. Once it is not active it realeasees all the accumulated notification which sounds pretty anoying. Sounds from the media are also not muted. I am using Samsung Gallaxy Note 8 which still don't have working silent mode.
Excellent app to mute during your events/ meetings automatically. Also possible to selectively keep phone unmuted for some calendar items if you add words e.g. unmute in ignore keywords under options and same in calendar.
Doesn't work with Android Pie. Since upgrading to Pie, now my phone goes into silence mode all the time and I don't get my notification sounds anymore, even during unscheduled time.
It just doesn't work. I'm still getting hundreds of email notifications while this is running. Literally pointless.
Received a spam call while app was active, hours before my alarm. I guess this app is ineffectual, and thus worthless to me.
it would be okay if it had the features of the paid app but the free app can use only 1 profile making your native app p on the phone bet get at the job then the soon app.
worked good on my note 5 before I bought the premium version.... now have just as many spoofed and soliciting calls as before. Google should investigate this... I want my $ back!
Doesn't work. Turns on and off at random, instead of scheduled times. Xiaomi Redmi 5 plus.
Does not mute on schedule unless you open the app. Emailed them with no response.
Put on no messages allowed & it still vibrated when I got a text! Waking people up!
worked great on my Note 3, but on my Stylo 4 calls often come through in Night Mode.
Just a two week trial, never set it fully up or used it once the warning came up

The built in DND on Samsung phones only allows you to set up a single time frame, which is only useful if you have 1 job who's hours never change and you're always sleeping at the exact same time every day. This app does exactly what I need it to, which is allow me to set up to 2 unique DND periods a day. That's 14 possible combinations, which is way better than 1.
I have used this app for years with no complaints, but suddenly it has stopped working. Settings are still the same as always, phone is the same. I don't understand why it has suddenly stopped working and allowing calls and notifications to ring through despite settings. Big thumbs down until this is resolved, otherwise uninstalling.
Works very well on my OnePlus 5T on Android 8. Had a problem at one time, but the app developer helped enormously and eventually found the reason for the failure. Very patient guy! Thank you very much - brilliant. Great app & great developer. 😊
Did not stop unknown callers. And I have my phone on mute and it rang with my ringtone. It shouldn't override sound settings like that.
Awesome application. It will great work in my Motorola G2 android 6.0 marshmallow version.it will avoid all an necessary calls and sms.totally silent the mobile while I will busy in meeting
This app is helpful, but automatically gets access to all calendars you possibly can have on a phone. And even when I unchecked them, it still had access. Not sure how it works. I disabled the option! One bigger issue, though, is that in functioning, if you want to program it to go silent in certain times you want, it doesn't accept 2 different time slots in one day. If I have a class in the morning, and one in the afternoon, it doesn't let me have 2 time slots. When I create the second one, it automatically disables the first one! So I have to program it from the morning to the evening! In my idea that s a big issue. This is their way to make you give access to your calendars no matter what!
