Do Not Disturb Free
You can choose whether to mute the sound, or completely block incoming calls, so that for the person who is calling you, your phone will be shown as busy.
The application works either by setting the profiles with the internal scheduler, or in combination with the Android system calendar.By enabling the 'Follow Calendar' option, all events created in the system's calendar with the state set to busy, will be managed by the application depending on the options you have chosen.
In the profiles is also possible to match a Location, so as to activate the profile only when you are in the selected radius.
You no longer have to worry about calls and SMS that you receive unexpectedly that can create embarrassment or a bad impression.
Once you have set the profiles, "Do Not Disturb" blocks all calls except those included in the "Whitelist", where you can enter both individual contacts, as well as entire groups.
You can manage different profiles for different times and days of the week. You can create any profile at any time you need, which can be useful, for example, for those who work and cannot receive calls, those who want to rest without being disturbed, and for many other occasions.
In case you need to receive urgent calls that you have not included in the "Whitelist", you can enable the "Emergency calls" option, so that after a predetermined number of repeat calls from the same number the call will be transmitted.
You can also choose whether to enable the unknown numbers, so that with any active event (Profiles App, Android Calendar, Widget, Quick Start), the phone will ring always, so you never miss important calls.
For emergency calls you can enable the automatic sending of a text message to the person who is calling you, in order to tell her that you are busy and to call you back again right away if there is something important.
For callers in the "Whitelist" you can set a specific ring tone level and activate the incremental volume or set a different ringtone.
You can decide to mute the phone or to enable the vibration, and you can save battery power by turning off Bluetooth and Wifi during the events you created.
You can mute the phone instantly with a single click, using the inner button Quick Start, or using the widgets that conveniently preset on 4 types of schedules ranges: 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
Both for Widget that for the Quick Start you can create a White List dedicated.

I recently had to uninstall this app after almost 2 years because the latest version has serious problems. It doesn't open properly and will suddenly cause my phone screen to strobe and won't let me open the app. I tried to reload it but it had the same problem. I was very careful to put my settings exactly as instructed but after a few hours it was acting up again. I have a Droid moto Z3.
Installed mainly due to its ability to handle "Busy"-type events in calendars. Will not purchase this after trial. App is unreliable handling calendars and events. Mine are 2 work accounts Office365 and Google with several calendars. This app is very random to select "Suitable events" and show list of available calendars. In "Choose calendars" it shows half of those from Google, and none of 2 in Office365. All other calendar apps on device show all those calendars fine. Moreover, this app actually handles events from those 2 Office365 calendars, which are not displayed in the list "Choose calendars". But... today in a meeting a call rang (no whitelists or emergency). I found out that this particular meeting has not being classified as "Suitable event". But calendar "Show as" was set as "Busy". It makes all the use of this app unreliable. Rest of capabilities, like "schedules", "instant on", are less important and there are OS or other apps for that, which integrate with OS. Another annoying is number of alerts, which I get anyway from UI in parallel, I'd only keep indicator that app is handling the event or schedule right now. For some reason app is not toggling system UI alert.
Seems to include most of the features my old app had (that is no longer available). Would be good to have better widget support though. Including a 2x1 widget with multiple increments and cancel. Plus having the ability to change one of the Presets to say 4 or 8 hours would be good when using for sleeping time (The day schedule is too structured)
Unreliable. Several times I have come close to buying the full version because this functionality is so important to me as a professor, but every time I realize that it just doesn't work as expected. It sometimes fails to silence during Busy appointments. It often fails to unsilence after appointments end. At least once a day it nags me by asking whether an Available appointment should be set to Busy (I always say no). Galaxy S6.
Great app, but unfortunately the schedule does not seem to work. Multiple times it fails to turn off at the selected time and then my business calls are blocked at work. It shows its off, but only once I deactivate the recurring timer does it unblock my phone. Actually wanted to purchase the premium version but I'm not convinced now.
i like the function and how it works. but the minute i release this app activates the phone built in "do not disturb" function, i stop using and need to find another app. there's reasons why i want to use alternative app rather than the built in, but if the app still depends on it, then it's pointless. reply: ah.. so google is the culprit behind this... no choice then. thanks for your reply.
Could you just give me the option to turn om DND right now and turn it off after 8 hours? My job makes me live a very unsystematic life, but when I get some sleep it's very important that I do nor get disturbed. But when I wake up it's also very important to get calls and notifications. I could do this easily on my old android phone (android 5 i think), but now this function is gone :(
Having used the built-in DND in my last Samsung phone, DND has become indispensable for me. However, the DND in my new Xiaomi phone is too restrictive that I couldn't configure the sound settings to my liking even with the help of Tasker. This app saves the day. And I've gone premium after trying for a few weeks.
I Was very uncomfortable with the app permissions especially the read messages and manage phone calls. Also the app itself was unreliable as it didn't start the DND cycle every time when the set time was reached. Also text messages aren't allowed through during the DND times even if you add to your favourites. A waste of time.
This app works as advertised but the last update has a major issue. The updated app caused my phone to go crazy, the app opens and closes like a strob and I can't stop it. Have to uninstall it as it's made my phone unusable.
Fulfills the function that google rudely removed of following a calendar. I am a high school teacher and have a complex timetable to mute and unmute - a feat impossible to do manually. This app lets me set and forget. Too easy. Job done. Thank you!
Says it's free but then when you open it it says it's only free for a month to use all the features. Didn't even bother using it once I saw that. Trash app that depends on bait and switch tactics and isn't worth my time.
This app works really well! It keeps me focused on my work so I can get things done! I'm still learning it fully. I wish there was some other way to include/exclude calendar events other than adding keywords to the title. Perhaps something in the event description.
So far, so good. It is meeting my requirements and works on my Galaxy s9+. It allows me to set multiple schedules, and actually name them. Very cool. I had been using Silence Premium for years - paid option. And it no longer silences or unmutes my phone automatically.
I had this set up so my scheduling could call me only during the hours I was working, and not wake me up before that. I woke up this morning to two missed calls, even though it was past start time and I had this set up accurately with sound on. I could have been fired. I will not risk using this further.
Works fairly well. Grammar is bad and parts of interface need work. Please hire someone to make all dialogue clear. Too much obvious bad translation going which almost makes it too aggravating to use.
I use this app for my Nana with alzheimers so whenever she takes a nap it won't be interpreted with calls. This is the best app for blocking calls. I can set a certain time I don't want calls coming in. I've tried many of these apps and found that this one is the best.
Constantly have to make sure the app is loaded. I think my phone closes it down. Never really got to try it as it never worked. Now trial has expired.
The app had an issue with shutting down and not working properly, I contacted the developer and he replied to me very quickly and fixed the issue. The app is now working as expected and couldn't but buy the premium version 👍👍
This works great at silencing my phone & I love the interface & white list. My only issue is that it leaves my phone on vibrate when it ends no matter which settings I pick.
My go-to app for muting my phone based on certain calendar events. Easy to use and very effective.
Does what it is supposed to do, cleanly and intuitively. Good interface, and uses minimal system resources. Excellent App.
Works well for my needs on the free version. My only complaint is having to remove and install the widgets after many, but not all updates.

Great for the first 30 days, but tries to force you to buy the paid edition by switching off your settings, thus disturbing sleep.!
This app come in handy and is very good when you are very busy and not want to time talking to people that just wanna call you to say hi... Because they have not had your voice 24/7 and will keep talking unwanted things....
After four days the app works as advertised. Unfortunately, the developer's English is absolutely TERRIBLE. One has to reread the menus several times to understand what is being said. The menus are complicated. There is no indication of one has to make sure Android 10's Do Not Disturb function needs to be disabled. It wants you to make sure the op system does not make it sleep, but it is not listed as an app that this can be changed. After the trial I'm going to try another similar app. B+ grad
