It was a great app. Excellent alternative to Digit once they started charging. But unfortunately I woke up to an email saying that Dobot would be going down the same path of charging users $1.99 a month. I don't want to pay to save my own money. I guess I'll go back to the old fashioned way of saving until another free competitor comes along. Such a shame since I'm sure they took a lot of business from former Digit users
It wouldn't connect to my bank account, so it was useless. I contacted support and the response was along the lines of "oh well, that's how it goes." I'm really bummed because Digit works beautifully for me, I'm just not able to justify paying $2.99 a month for it.
I hate to rate this app with 1 star, especially because I hardly ever rate apps at all but I signed up 3 days ago and began trying to add my Associated Bank checking account. I got an error so I contacted support and I was told "That error message occurs when our bank connection provider and the bank are unable to get the account synced. Usually because the bank's system times out [...] I don't have a great solution other than to ask you to keep trying periodically." Well I've tried probably 15 times over the last 3 days and it's still the same error. I can't go back and forth with this app forever, I feel like 3 days and 15x is more than enough. I'm trying out Simple Bank now.
I loved the app, unfortunately, i just received an email that my account was closed and my money will go to my account, but i dont know when, it doesn't tell me. And i cant go back to my accouny, ive tried more than 10 times, and nothing, and i get worried my savings will disappear....
I tried it after Digit started charging a fee. It's ok, not great. Digit was better. I knew that going in, but thought I'd give it a shot. Now they are charging a monthly fee as well. I found out about the fee on someone else's website who no longer recommends Dobot. It's nothing we can't do free on our own.
Just randomly started charging me 1.99 even though I don't even have a bank account linked. What a scam when they never charged and have no easy method of removing account completely. Bad business practices, should be illegal.
This app is great for saving and helps set goals! I had an issue with a withdraw overdrafting my account; it was a computer error. The team was quick to respond and solve the issue! The whole issue was resolved in less than 24hrs and I was refunded the overdraft fee without a problem! Love this app and love Brad and Andy!
This app has been great for saving money but, now that I look at it, I'm not sure how you get the money money back that you saved.
I love the UI but it never saved anything from my back after a week so now I have to delete my account which inhale no idea how to do... seems like the algorithm is way too simple, so I'll stick to Qapital for now. If it improves then I will absolutely use it again
Keeps charging a 1.99 fee and you can't remove it from your checkong. I will be disputing the charges.
Just started the app after coming from digit. Only difference so far is that there's no daily text saying what your bank balance is and that was a nice touch. It also gave you heads up for deposits and such. Maybe they'll add that
Never got the email saying that they were going to start charging us to use the app. I'm currently unemployed and caused my bank to overdraw and now I'm getting hot with bank fees too. I'll never use it again.
They just closed my account within days of opening it and gave a reason that they won't be doing business-to-consumer anymore but business-to-business and I can no longer log in. They also closed my friend account but the message she received insinuated that she closed the account which is untrue & she cannot get in touch with anyone from customer service. DO NOT USE THIS APP OR COMPANY, something is not right!
Somehow my bank account is no longer connected and it won't let me reconnect it. It takes me to the bank selection but the bank names don't appear for me to select one. I need to withdraw money but it won't let me until I connect my bank. Please help!!

Haven't used this app since November 2016 and my bank account was just charged $30. Are you kidding me! For what?!?! Not happy and will never use it again!

I cant connect my bank account because my bank account is not supported... if it wouldnt been like that probably I would of loved the app because Im really bad at saving $$ lol
I've deleted this app long til ago and it still takes money out of my accounts then whenever I attempt to reset my user and pass word it never let's me. So it's still taking money out and I can't take my card info off because I can't reset I don't recommend this app at all

Digit guarantees that if you are subjected to an overdraft fee as a result of automated saving overdrawing your account that they'll cover you, I can see no similar guarantee from this app.

I love this app at first. I found my bank I connected it I transferred some money then dobot transferred some money for me which was awesome so I can save. Then all of a sudden it says my bank account is not connected and I can no longer find my bank. So now I can't even transfer money to it or transfer money out of it what should I do?
I was a little scared at first. Being I had to link my bank and all. After having it a while now that is no longer the case. Great way to set a goal or just save for no reason. I honestly don't really notice it saving my money. But surprise I'm saving! Must get app.
Its cool and works..but it takes so long for the transition to transfer money to dobot. Any reason why? And does the same wait pertain also to withdrawing the money?

I've tried several times to set up the banking information. I get as far as it telling me it has successfully linked my US BANK, but after paying Continue, I always get a message that it cannot connect to my bank account.
This app is a poor substitute for Digit. The algorithm seems simple and not very useful. When my checking account had $500 and no pending bills, it took $8. When I had less than $50 and payday was still a week away, it took $22. I don't get the impression it has any ability to analyse my banking activity. Digit saved more by withdrawing smaller and imperceptible amounts on a more frequent basis. It never would have taken nearly half the balance in my account. I was hesitant to try this app when I saw a robot employee's rude response to a negative review on here. I should have followed my initial impulse to pass on this app.
