Dock your Boat 3D

This app is primarily created by and for sail boat owners. It's NOT a game. It's simulator. And you can tune the performance of your selected boat to be very simmilar to the boat you actually have yourself. ......... The app allows you to get experience docking "your boat" in weather conditions that you would normally not dear to dock your real boat in. The app does a fantastic job of doing just that. Allowing you to get experienced docking your boat (and crashing it), saving you many1000 of pounds in real damages to your (and others) real boats. .... Yes the controls are not responsive if you use it on a mobile phone (small display), but probably works just fine on a pad or on a pc. And if like me you bought the licence on the mobile, you don't need to pay one more licence for the PC or the pad, as the app there can connect to the mobile (the developer calls that remote). ...... I can see there's several one star reviews, but when browsing through them I conclude that those reviews are not from the kind of users that this app is targeted for. And running a server to support such an app is not free, better pay a tiny bit than being bombarded with advertisements, of which this app is completely free. ........ As a simulation as close to the real thing as possible, this app does a marvelous job. It's outstanding, and there's nothing else out there even close. The app is a bit heavy to run, so needs a newer tablet with good performance, and it doesn't work on older Androids like 5 or 6.

Probably a very underrated app, however this not exactly what I was looking for (a game), so I won't be buying :/ . The dev seems nice and I had a good (short) experience with the app, so yeah if you're looking for a well thought out, detailed sim ... download this application; it has a lot of settings to play with and is user-friendly at the same time, nice!

There is no information on how to cancel weekly subscruption. Please clarify it somewhere. Overall, great simulation of realtime docking conditions.

A subscription model. Really? I have no problem purchasing an app and this is a good app. I have to run it on the very lowest settings on my Samsung A6 tablet but that's ok given the functionality and good accuracy of the simulation. I'll stick to real thing - that is worth the ongoing cost. Good luck with it though.

The old version was mostly free. Judging from whatever is still free in the new version, adding 3D didn't add to the simulator experience. On the contrary.

Whenever i started the game the first time to now it moves every where on the map and going underwater pls just fix it.

Interesting App and I usually go for the paid option, but this one is not ready. There are far too few simulations to warrant a yearly subscription of $13. Seems a one time pay at this point would be appropriate. UPDATE: Your analogy is flawed. My point is that your app is totally locked but it did peak my interest and would probably pay at a lower price point. But, I guess the 5 minutes I spent installing it and going through the tutorial will be it for me.

It's probably really good but running a simulation on a tiny screen using touch screen controls is awful. So, I decided to cast my phone screen to my 65" TV and that was already a lot better. I also have a bluetooth game controller but sadly the game even though it is written in Unity does not allow the use of a game controller. Developer: Please, please support basic game controllers it essentially makes this a desktop app and no more fumble fingers on the screen.

Except the Tutorial everything is paid, I wonder why did I even download it. Do not waste your time and Data for this. Reply: My suggestion would be to make 2 versions for this game. 1. ad version which includes moderate level of ads including video ads. 2. The Paid version with no ads and additional levels. The first would give user the flexibility to move to ad free version if he/she likes to have interrupted access with extra features.

Interesting mechanics, but severe lack of content-missions and boats.Gets repetitive pretty fast. AI of the boats is pretty poor also,but nice graphics. Overall this is like a demo or alpha version imho. For subscription model of payment this needs to get a lot of meat on it. P.S. drone camera is pretty bad especially when going astern. Untill the boat starts moving astern visibility behind is 0 unless you want to zoom out all the way.

Undesired charge in my bank account. The app is fantastic to understand boat dynamics at harbor. And I fully reccomend it for someone trying to learn about it (I would rate it 5 stars, if I did not feel stolen). I purchased a 3 months subscription and I found that they charged me again 3 months later without my awareness or consent. When I contacted the developer, he did not offer much help. Just said, it was my issue with Google... disappointing

Need more polishing on controls responsiveness, adjustment & also need offline based simulation once purchase has been made, only require online when needed patch on update for additional upgrades. The simulation was sluggish, online synchronization was delayed response also takes too much battery. User interface was small, color grade are pale. This sim game shows interesting potential, can be adapt as educational as well but sadly devs rush up to monetize, lacking on playability detailing.

By far the most accurate simulation for boat docking! You can even set property of the boats, like keel length, strength of propwalk effect or how much the wind will push the bow to the side! And it looks very beautifully! The developer seems to be a sailor and knows what he is doing!

Overall it's fun. Physics seems okay. However the throttle is quite hard to handle properly. Sliding would be better for handle the throttle, and a separate neutral button would be nice. And the AI is always "drunk" or something, overtaking stupidly, crashing to each other etc.

Power control is awfull. Almost imposdible to use. It fails me every time. It powers up, when I want power down, or vice vesra. Or it just dont react when I press. Higly annoing. I would just presfer two BIG buttons for it. As with bow thruster.

I can see the value in this app for education but is mostly locked behind a pay wall so is not suitable for the average phone gamer. That being said it has decent graphics and easy to use controls

There was a good 2D "Dock your boat" app which I enjoyed and which I paid for. Now it has been removed from Google Play and I can no more install an app I paid for. Instead I get this "Dock your boat 3D" where I have to pay again (and with a huge pricing, and a subscription), which is extremely unoptimized, too complicated and just not what I need.

The application that was downloaded from android store wouldn't start. I then received a link to download a prerelease versio from a site outside google store I didn't for obvious reasons. Is that a trusted site? As soon as, an updated version is available on google store pla let me know. I would.really like to change my feedback...BUT...

My skipper was coaching me while I was playing your application: and he said I did all right, I didn't think I did all that well... and my heart was palpitating as I was playing the app! Can you believe it!? Quite possibly my favorite app. Thanks guys!

By far, the best ship simulator I could find here. It still needs some improvements but definitely it's the most realistic ship game on play store. Good job!

After using the free parts for a while I eventually decided to upgrade to the paid version. Love the possibility to adjust wind and prop walk. Quite a good simulator to practise your mooring techniques

Good simulation of docking. The only thing I would prefer is the ability to use external wheel and throttle (i.e. wheel used for PC race simulators or joystick)

Very useful for docking practice. Realistic physics and slick interface. Highly recommended.

won't run on my Samsung A6 Tablet no matter what video settings. if the GPU and CPU are inadequate then the ap should politely tell me so. instead it just asks me to subscribe.

Very Good game would have got 5 if the boats weren't so brittle. What I mean by brittle is if I tap the poles extremely slow I still get like 80% damage

Pls ,the 2D has to be reinstated. To me it is far better # u can't just delete it .I ve a subscription for it ,and it is very helpful to me .pls reinstate the 2D
