For longtime users, note that new versions of Android will disable the premium key from being able to run in the background, which makes it appear that you don't have premium anymore, but you can turn that off in your Android settings 👍 there is the app, and the premium key app, so make sure you're changing it for the right one. Been a pretty useful app over the years, opens what I need
Been using this for years. I really enjoy this app and very recently they helped with an issue I was having after I bought a new phone. I can say that the developers are absolutely responsive and provide effective advice on solving the problem. Only downside? I physically am unable to remove ads. I would love to do this, but none of their premium services are for sale, which is a real bummer. The ads on my new phone are very intrusive and I want to remove them and pay the developers.
I have this app for a long time, about 10 years. At that time I spent about $10 for it, which was a lot then. But I worked well and over all I was very satisfied with it. Moving it to a new was not always easy, but I usually kept my phones for a long time so, I will only call that luck. Now, what I see as a major change and annoyance is the adding know of full page ads. I didn't pay $10 to get get unwanted ads, so I will probably get rid of this app. I would write more but I got off.
Love this app. (Strike that). I bought the pro version. I particularly like the link to cloud function. I just wish I could connect to more cloud services like mega.nz, sync, and icedrive. Edit: So what happens? Instead of more cloud services they eliminate the ones they had. At this point, what is even the point of having this app installed and taking up space when there are multiple cloud offices that do the same thing and more? DataViz has no purpose on my devices anymore.
Paid for the fill version over a decade ago. Now it requires permissions to all info on your device and any other devices storage it can connect to. Will have to move yrs of docs to a new platform for the mistake of trusting this app. BOYCOTT ALL ONE ENDED USER CONTRACTS. These data minors do not need permission to any data except the page your have open. Not paying for spies that sell my info. DATAVIZ got my money years ago but lost any trust around my device.
Adds are OK in an app, but in this app they are poorly done. They are very hard to turn off. Spending 30 seconds getting out of adds is nasty. This has turned this app from a Great app to a poor one! Why can I no longer access premium features?
Worked like a charm until the most recent update. Now my keyboard randomly vanishes mid sentence. High speed typing has never been an issue before, but the app seems to think I am trying to zoom in.
... Your last update has not brought any advantage but endless bugs and reasons ro uninstall at once, because it bhas beome 'never ending «illness», worse than garbage. Is there somewhere the older version findable to re-install rhe previous one: 'Otherwise : bye - bye !!
I'm sure it'd be fine, but if I can't do it on my phone easily it's not gonna work for me, in the 5 mins I tried to type a single plain doc, I couldn't see any autocorrect & no option to see how close lines are together, can't be bothered if basic options arent avail
What have you done? ☹️ This once great app is now annoying and spoilt, keyboard stops working then disappears, ads pop up as I'm typing, now you got me looking for another app.. Yet another good one gone. Just a shame.
Has been five star all the way but suddenly the OneDrive connection doesn't link anymore. Must be an update error? I paid for the Pro version.
I used the premium pack for many years, and it was absolutely perfect. Then a few months ago it stopped being able to access my files, so I deleted and re-installed it. Now it works again - but it is so full of annoying ads for very dubious products that I don't trust it to have access to all my files - and the ad-free version has been withdrawn. So bye-bye Docs To Go.
Excellent App that has it all, Word, Excel, power point, txt, & pdf. Ine used it for decads.
I have been using this app for years, and everything was perfect until I updated it. Now it's been hanging, it's not allowing me to even type.
App updated automatically today and now will not open any files, saying "file not found".
Best app for documents: excel, word and etx. No dumb ads. Simply wotks when downloaded
I really like the app. It's lightweight for all the compatibility of files it has. Although, the usability of file menu it's questionable (but you get used to it with time). Yes, ads are always distracting but at least in this app they are not shown when you're off-line (thank God!). Still,there's a bug: you can't move app to external storage - as soon as you reboot, it won't be installed anymore. Hope they fix it on next updates. 😊👍
Been using the full version for 5 years with minimal issues. BUT, at the end of March 2019, I lost all spreadsheet formatting on a simple 5-column table. I've sent 4 requests for help to Dataviz with a screenshot of the problem. NO RESPONSE! No acknowledgement! I dunno.... Maybe they're going out of business. Any other good apps out there?
I use to think this app was very practical but delving deeper into it, I see so many basic features not available. Like something as simple as inserting pictures into a spreadsheet or word doc. Its a basic word processing need. I get so far into a project only to be reminded that i dont have certain capabilities. The spreadsheet glitches frequently and the Word Doc is primitive.
Giving this a trial run because I need something that can handle extremely long notes on my phone. Have not gotten to a point of needing to transfer a note to my laptop yet for redined editing, but so far for the one note I'm building, it has worked pretty much as expected. I just have to make sure I don't forget to save. This app really needs an option for "dark mode".
It's really lightweight and it does the job. It starts relatively fast. Ads weren't much of a problem for me; they aren't bothersome for me. However can't give it 5 stars. Sometimes I would paste info into some doc just to find out that it wasn't saved at all (and yes I confirmed the SAVE part). This happened more than once. Overall great app for whoever needs a lightweight app.
I really love that this app is light on my device and it has all the functions that I need. However, I'm having a bit of a problem with backspacing or removing previously typed words in the document. And for some reason, the app stops working after i watch an ad. I hope it gets an update and bug fixes.
Just upgraded to premium for desktop sync and removal of ads. I have been using the free version on note 8 for a year and just recently discovered how to navigate its functions. Installation to desk top was very easMy issue with the application is the inability to save changes to documents made on the phone which is a new problem since upgrading to premium. But I can edit, save and sync from desktop to phone. So what am I missing? I enjoy creating doc on my phone and want to fix problem.
Used to be very good but the keyboard disappears now after a few words making it virtually unusable....
License is worthless. I haven't used this app for a long time. I bought a license back then. Ineeded to create a simple spreadsheet with 20 rows, 6 columns of data. Nope. Can't do it. Can't autofit cells, only rows or columns. Every cell on a new sheet is locked and the only way to unlock them is, one at a time. Can't select a large area and unlock the cells. After spending 1 hour trying and failing to input two lines of data over 6 columns, I give up.
Loaded this and started it. First thing it wants you to register allowing an opt-out. Started to explore and saw the ads load. Got my first full page ad before I even opened a sample doc. Went to "Store" on settings menu and found there is no way to buy "no ads", only features for sale. I am now going back to Google play to remove this (insert expletive).
Devs please improve and add more formulas for your excel sheet. I cant even use dependent dropdown list
Does the job (where others haven't). The free version has ads, but I haven't found them overly intrusive. It does remind you to create an account from time to time, but it's not a big deal if you don't. I do plan to create one, if only to see what the benefits are, and will report back after. Dataviz, the company associated with this app, used to work a lot with Apple's Mac computer format, and were highly regarded with regards to quality and security.
Been using this app for more than 10 years with only minor issues related to device updates...nothing Dataviz could control. The most recent device update caused the app to lose some of its key functionality. After contacting Customer Support, it took a few days (and numerous emails) to find a solution...which they did! Thank you Bob, for being thorough, patient, and determined to make sure the customer was satisfied.
