This was my first time speaking with a therapist and I was nervous not knowing what to expect, but Dr. Yang was excellent. She was knowledgeable, kind and patient. It was nice speaking with a provider and not feeling rushed. The app is excellent, the reminders are well timed and I strongly recommend this platform.
I have seen doctors using this app several times now. It's as good as having a virtual appointment, that we are getting used to, and staying away from the ER. I have had only great experiences, and can get help regardless of the time of day. If you find you especially like one provider, you can schedule with that Dr.
Pfft secondary invoice. Will never use this again, used this teledoc app since they include the ability to use insurance cards. Well, I paid the $10 copay with insurance and then they ended up sending me a secondary invoice via email telling me I need to pay $50 more, I could of got my prescription through a different teledoc app for $30-$35 not $60. Waste of time and a rip off
The therapist and psychiatrist I've had are great. It's the app, customer service, and the billing I have issues with. I was told my visits were all covered by my insurance and there was no copay. They lied and so now I owe hundreds of dollars in copays. The customer service people have been rude. Their phones always echo you talking at a delay which is very disorienting and annoying. And they still haven't "reached a decision" for the multiple billing issues I've had and it's been over 2 months
Anytime care is awesome and extremely convient. The people have been very knowledgable and clear spoken on details following visits. I enjoy being able to get appointments easily amd are effiecient. They only problem I have is that the messaging system does not always let me send my messages.
This app has made it much easier for me to gain access to care. I've often written off ailments or downplayed symptoms in the past because I always thought it was too much of a hassle to make an appointment and go to a doctor's office. This is an alternative that is easy to use, comfortable, and flexible.
Nose congestion and the specialist was much more caring than the ENT(ear, nose, and throat) I previously visited. Put it this way, this virtual call was a good 20 minutes of me explaining my symptoms/history. The specialist was able to answer my question thoroughly and provide feedback. Prescribed me few medicines to try out and the visit is FREE after insurance. ENT office requires appointment 3 weeks ahead and cost $40 co-pays after insurance. But they only spent ~5 minutes with me.
Awful. Just AWFUL. Apparently the card on file didn't go through so they just cancelled the appointment and didn't bother letting me know. Didn't even give me the option to addoney or update the card just cancelled and I found out at the allotted time I had gotten a confirmation text from. Really great service. Good thing I wasn't seeing a mental health professional or anything.
It is hard to explain how helpful it is to be able to access a provider via app at your convenience. I work for a hospital company and could not get assistance or an appointment faster than I did through this app. This really was a mental life saver for me.
Great, fast , professional 7 out of ten times...HOWEVER... At least 3 out of 10 times YOU WILL WAIT AND BE LIED TO ABOUT WAITING. #BEWARE# multiple time it has said less than 15 minutes till the doc and after 30 or 45 mins I get a text that I will be seen in less than 45 mins!! And just now it did the 15 minute wait for over an hour and I counted down like a sh**y new years ball drop till it says less than 5 minute only for it to GO BACK TO A 10 TO 20 MINUTE WAIT! Try other apps & choose.
App just keeps crashing anytime I try to schedule an appointment. Cleared the cache and storage and now I can't even get to the point of selecting a doctor. All of the buttons are inactive (animate like they are being pushed but do nothing) I've uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times. My last attempt to get this to work will be to restart my phone. I'll update this if I can actually get this to work. Great concept, poor execution.
All functions I used first day worked well and I had no issues! Hopefully that continues. Only slight qualm is the waiting time stayed on "<5 min" for more than 5 minutes, but I recognize that may be from factors out of the app's control. If the timer could be tweaked to be more accurate, that would be nice. It changed to "5-10 min" at some point, so maybe it is working as intended I don't know.
Definitely was quick and professional, short to the point. Outstanding care and recommendations. I definitely felt like my condition, as well as medicine(s) were assessed and properly catered to. Great video quality & connection. No glitches. Special thanks to Dr. Scott Rennie, for performing an awesome, professional, and informational virtual visit. Definitely assessed my condition with proper medicine(s) to get me well as quickly as possible! Thankful for Dr On Demand!
They accept my insurance but charged me full price. Was a nightmare to get it refunded. So beware. I'm sure there are more honest platforms to use. Update: tried it again and everything went fine.
Easy to use compared to the alternative apps and providers. I used this app over my medical providers app as this one is easier to use. Two competitor apps I have used in the past for the same service have become virtually unusable and no longer allow appointments to be made (only on demand/waiting).
Great! Amazing experience! Although getting an appointment with a psychiatrist has become impossible lately. Not sure if it because a lack of available doctors or something on my end, but can't seem to get an appointment ever.
UPDATE: I've bumped my rating down to 3 stars. Dr On Demand has been overcharging me because they can't resove an insurance issue they have had since January. They are getting $129 from me and the contracted service fee of $58.76 from my insurance. The only reason they get 3 stars from me is because of the fantastic care I have received from the doctors I've seen. I've had great care through Doctor On Demand. It's a great service. Today was the first time I've used it, and it worked perfectly.
Is definitely a must for me. Always wanted to get help but never actually put the effort in or thought I could afford it. But my plan at work makes my visits free and the app calling from home made it very easy to finally reach out and get help, and they did a great job in doing so.
Follow up visit was seamless. I scheduled and Dr. On Demand was punctual!! I can't say enough good things about this service. App is very easy to use and automatically connects you with the face to face phone call. (I have an android).
The doctors have been great. Much more convenient then trying to get into a doctor's office, filled with other sick people. Unfortunately though, the app has many bugs - always tries to set you up with a doctor that can't or won't see you. Very frustrating. Let's you select an appointment then at the last minute when confirming, it displays a message stating you have to select a different provider. Does this repeatedly. Can be difficult finding a Dr to actually see you. -2 stars
AMAZING! Download this app without question. In these hard times we've been experiencing, the service they've provided me is beyond 5 stars. The app works VERY smoothly, is easy to navigate, and provides a much needed reliability and availability of having a Doctor literally in the comfort of your own home. 🏡
