Doctor Who Sounds and Ringers

This app barely works on my Nexus phone. Like everyone else said, when the phone rings it cuts the sound off after a very short amount of time. Not only that but it has randomly crashed multiple times when I'm not even in the app. The only good thing is the variety of fun sounds but if you were after a good ringtone don't bother.

Love, love, LOVE this app. I'm a Whovian from childhood through present day, and I am so happy I came across this app. Some people mention poor sound quality, but some of these sounds are from the 60s and 70s - they didn't have the tech we have these days to make great quality sounds... they sound like I remember them sounding on TV when I watched with my dad 25 - 35 years ago.

I love the fact that I have a ton of whovian ringtone choices now, but the problem is that the app takes up almost 20 MB- I had to get rid of several apps just to be able to use it. It's a great app, but unless it magically takes up less space, I have to uninstall it. (I also wouldn't mind it having a few more choices, but maybe that's just me.)

I like the selection of sounds and the way they are presented. But I had hoped to use some (e.g. TARDIS materializing) for a ringtone, and their volume is way too quiet for that. Even with the phone on the table in front of me and its volume turned all the way up, I could barely hear it over the quiet conversations at nearby tables. Certainly no use as a ringtone. In case it matters, I have an HTC One.

As a good DW fan this naturally fascinated me, so I downloaded it. It works brilliantly, it crashes on my phone every once and a while but it is still a wonderful app. I think the creator should add more ringtones for more variety, but it works great, there are many sounds and ringtones, and if you download it I hope you like it, I do.

The soundboard is absolutely excellent, but when I tried Dr Who Smith as ringtone and Blink as notification reminder for my Kycera Rise smartphone, the only response I got with the sound completely up was vibrating. When this company fixes that problem, they will earn a 6 out of 5 from me. Great Soundboard. HORRIBLE Ringtones. Hopefully a helpful review.

MOTOROLA ATRIX II App is so ad heavy it causes it to stall out. Half the sound effects don't work and even when they try to work, they're garbled or over modulated. Would be really great if you checked functionality before release. There are some great clips here, too bad quality is so poor.

It's a cool app, but it needs more... round things. And by that I mean more clips. There are lots of great clips from the Matt Smith era and the new Capaldi season. Also there should be a short version of the cloister sound. Besides that, just clear up the audio on the new series sounds and it will be a great app!

LET ME EXPLAIN: This app is great and it works fine, But it didn't work at first. My normal ring and text tone were still set even though it said in the settings that it was set. But when I downloaded the app I had low battery so I turned it off, Then after turning the phone back on it worked! I doubt this what you have to do to make it work, though. But other than that, Great app! :)

So happy the theme song is my ring tone, k 9 is my text alert, and I want up the 10th doctor thank you. It does glitch every once in a while but its worth it to hear my fave dr.

This app is great if you're a Whovian like me! I like that there are all kinds of Doctor Who sounds, whether it is from the Classic Who series or the remake, which you can use as ringtones for phone calls, notifications, etc. I just wish there were more sounds though (and make some of the sounds longer haha)!

I really wish when they updated that they wouldnt change David's Blink, but of course they did. That one was my favorite. I am really upset because that one was the only reason I kept that app. It sounds really weird now, it is nothing like what David said on the show. Could someone please change it back tk ththe way it was before the last update?

This is my favorite app on my phone, very well rounded and finally someone puts in eccleston, no one ever remembers eccleston. The only thing I would like is add an alarm option in the set screen and possibly some more "Doctors" sounds. Ty for the epic app!

This ringtone is of a doctor who, if u eat I mean I downloa, then u shiuld be sure to break glass incase of emergancy I guv thid ringtonea rating of 4 out of 5 my reasoning Is because there is a specific sound effect that was not in the ringtone and it was my favorite one. Also why in th e first of season 5 was amy impersenating a cop isn't that illegal or someting. Remember; this ringtone is the the minx. I'm srry auto correct is angry at me.

This is a fun soundboard but it crashes regularly (SG3). And the phone randomly stops recognizing when I have these set as text notifications. If the app would be more reliable, I'd gladly bump up the rating.

Needs more work. App turns itself on and off at random. Some sounds are not good quality, and some are too short to use as a ringtone.

Trying to save any of the theme songs (set to music option) only saves the first few seconds which is pretty useless for trimming down to the part you actually want to use for a ring tone. Oh well, back to the old fashioned way of editing my existing mp3s.

I have a My Touch G3. The sounds are working great. but my screen does not appear as it does in the sample. The 3 Tabs at the top (Sounds-Store-About) are not showing on my screen. I can sample all the sounds and the adds pop up, but no tabs. Help ; ; i want my ringer to sound cool^^

I had hoped for more sounds, there is one or two clips from each doctor and that's it. I also have problems getting the sounds to play on a regular basis. App keeps saying Google play services have stopped then my ringtones stop working. Sad.

Overall this app is helpful and fun. I liked almost everything about it and would recommend it to everyone who loves The Doctor. The only thing is the voices are a little scratchy and I cant make the "Obey Obey" ringtone work. These may just be my phone but both ways, this is a great app.

Crashes if you play too many sound clips in one browsing, but if you close the app and re-open it works just fine again. Only bummer for me is that the selection is really limited. No Matt Smith, no Peter Capaldi, and aside from some of the classics, particularly K9, Rose is the only companion option--granted, she's my favorite, but they aren't even her best moments, just random bits of sentence. Potential to be 5 stars if only there was more variety

The first few sounds worked normally, after that none would play even after a restart. I kept messing with it and a few more would play but then the original ones would stop. Disappointing.... oh and banana has 2 N's listed

Fun app. As others have said, the sounds are too short when call comes in. However, incoming call remains active for normal amount of time. The best thing about this app is that now I know when it's my phone ringing!

I swear. My regular ringtone is at a tolerable volume but when a message comes in I can hear a Dalek scream "EXTERMINATE" super loudly and I thought I was gonna die. It would be helpful if you can control the volume of each sound.

The sounds and ringtones are all great, the problem is sometimes they just go off randomly. It continues even when I shut off my phone, so I have to just mute it and wait it out, which is really irritating.

it is a very good app. both my ringtone and my alert sound come from it, but it is glitchy. on my galaxy S4, when i set the sounds to be music, but it says "not supported." it still plays, but once it finishes it automatically plays a song from the Play Music App, instead from the built-in music app. it also crashes occasionally. 5 stars if those bugs get worked out

After playing a few of the different sounds, it wont play any more until you quit and restart the app.
