Dododex: Ark Survival Evolved

Well first off.. I really love the idea of the app, but my problem is with the maps portion of the app. Every time i open the maps... It freezes up an then closes the app. Other than that the app is great source of info. Yes i am using my phone to do this. I have uninstalled it an reinstalled it at least 3 or 4 times...still freezes up an closes the app when i try to view anything to do with maps. How can i get this to stop??

I can't remember what one, but there was one dino I couldn't fine (it could have been glitching at the time, I have bad resep some times), also my cousin told me the "Tek" dinos differ in level compared to average dinos so idk how to calculate that. Other than that, the app is amazing, was able to get straight to making kibble & things for kibble. I do love the app.

Dodex is a very useful App if you play ARK. I really like it and use it very often. But there is one issue: when I go to 'capabilities' and then go to 'can damage' it shows everything but the buildings that can be damaged or not. So that way the list is kinda useless :/ . Same with 'affected by' it shows the list with all creatures and the crosses but it doesn't show what the creature is affected by or not. So it's the same problem. I would really appreciate if you could fix that.

im still using this app today and its amazing, i have something that you could add that would make this app 100% amazing. Even though this would take some time to do, you could get pictured of the important placed on the map (boss terminals, obelisks etc...) , and when you click on them it gives you a picture of what it looks like and what its surroundings look like.

The app is amazingly useful. Has loads of info and the player notes are great. The only things that would bump this up to a 5* for me is adding a little check box in a top corner somewhere where I could indicate when I've captured a dino (totally for an achievement). Maybe have it greyed out or have an X through the check box it if the dino is not capturable. The other is making the bosses a separate section on the scroll list. Nothing fancy, just a "-Bosses-" then list them below that line on the list would do. It would make finding them easier as I'm still trying to remember all of these names and having them mixed in with the normal dinos makes them a little harder to find. Thanks for all the hard work!

It's a great app to use even if you're just beginning or you've been playing Ark forever. I've never had an problems learning how to use the app, or how it really functions. However, the only problem is some stuff isn't completely up to date. Like for instance the resource calculator isn't completely done. Their is still some stuff in Ark that is missing from it. That's really the only downfall. Other than that, it's a great app that helps a lot of people out nonetheless.

Pretty good experience. Nice to have as an app rather than looking online. I wish the back handler experience would be a little better. Its sometimes confusing or broken to use the Android back button while using the app. I sometimes find it hard to just get back to the main list of Dino's after searching one. Info is reliable and general experience is good!

It's been extremely helpful when prepping recipes, making dye, and taming especially. When I'm not sure if it's worth the effort to take something I whip out dododex and it's so much easier to make up my mind. It also saves me the hassle of saving recipes and having to go back and forth when I can't remember exactly what I needed for a recipe.

Overall pretty accurate, but I usually bring extra narcs and tranqs anyway just in case because it's not perfect. The recipe section is great too, and everyone seems to forget about it!! Been using this app for years, and I love it!! Don't let people fool you by saying it's inaccurate, granted it used to be a LOT more lackluster but it has improved significantly at this point.

This is honestly one of the best apps I have ever used. I love the simplicity they bring to the avalanche of data that is the Ark crafting and taming. Wish more games would have this kind of setup. The developer did a wonderful job. The information is accurate and allows for easy access to multipliers and multiple maps. Always adds to my Ark experience in the best way possible.

It has accurate information and is really nice but can be a bit laggy sometimes. Seems to be random but mostly in the taming calculator for the base game. Update for the dev. The only part I found specifically laggy was the island calculator but I didnt really use the other ones as much. It seems it had a problem loading things in from the looks of it. Scrolling up or down should make it lag. Otherwise this is great. :p

Very useful! It makes it a lot easier to tame creatures and lets other players provide their own tips on strategys for taming, encountering, etc. The only reason I put four stars is because some info is incorrect and/or outdated, other than that I love this app and you can easily access it in game when you encounter a creature which allows you to know a good amount about it.

When the website version works so perfectly....why on earth did you make an app that is slower, harder to use, more cluttered and just generally giving a much worse experience than the perfectly fine website? I've used the site for years, I only tried the app as I could just have it open in one click, expecting it to be an exact copy of the website....I just uninstalled it instantly as it took me twice as long to get the information I wanted as opposed to just opening the website. Shame but oh well, the website is still fantastic haha.

I am currently obsessed with Ark, and this app is steadily becoming my bible. Even when not playing, I use this app to prepare. It shows what you need, how much, and how to craft it. There are some discrepancies in how much tranquilizers you need (sometimes more or less shots are actually needed), so pack extras just in case. I just wish you could disable things unique to Prim+ and mobile. They are of no use to me and clutter up the interface.

Don't play Ark without it. Extremely useful. I thought it was just a compendium of dinos but it's so much more than that. I can't imagine trying to tame dinos without it. It lets you set timers for just about everything which helps take the stress out of taming and hatching eggs. It also has all the recipes for kibble and consumables so you can pull them up quickly. Seriously in love with this app.

Amazing app that saves players significant amounts of time, resources, and frustration. The only thing that I have an issue with, is that the Torpor timer sense to stop or de-sync any time they office screen times out, therefore making the alert sound ineffective. Amazing app otherwise though.

Extremely useful however, the back button exits the app instead of taking you back a screen like every other Android app would. It's frustrating to constantly be exited because my muscle memory disagrees with this single app. It's clear this was developed primarily for iPhones that have a single button, a few tweaks to make it more intuitive on Android (aka, realize we have multiple function buttons and use them properly) would go a long way.

I love this app. I had it once before and uninstalled it because I stopped playing ARK when my old Xbox broke. I just got back into it and redownloaded this app. It's incredible, I would give it 5 stars if the Dossiers and creature color regions were in it (if they are I can't find them), otherwise it's perfect. I give it 4 stars.

Great app, no lag on moto g power 2020. Missing some information here and there and the resources tab is somewhat unintuitive, would be very nice to have a search option. A recommendation of spawn maps included in the app instead, so it doesn't have to pull the wiki page up in browser, would be a really nice addition especially for quick switching between Ark Mobile and Dododex or just quick reference while on PC/console version. Seconds count sometimes when you're being eaten alive! Thanks dev.

Great application overall, has helped me many times. My only issue is that recently when I look at the resource maps it shows the map picture over the nodes so I can't see them. I've tried reinstalling and it still seems to be busted. Please fix because I just switched to Abberation and don't know where anything is!! Thanks

Definitely a must have for ANY ark player. It's too good to not use. Starve timer. Separate stats for ark mobile, the list goes on. There are certain parts that are inaccurate, but its ark, you cant get everything 100% correct on an app like this. Though changing settings feels inconvenient at times. And dan, karma will find you (in a good way)
