Well, its not what it says it is. I downloaded the app and was very delighted with how easy it was to add my card and navigate through the menu. the ui was great let me tell you. Still, after i placed my order for pickup 20 minutes in advance and had to wait 20 more minutes after my pickup time, i believe there is no reason to use the app. might as well show up and wait in a line and place an order. also mind you there was no line when we walked in and it did not seem very busy. enough said.
While I was attempting to place a pick order using the app, the app kept having errors. I tried to place the order on two separate phones, but had the same error. The order was finally placed after I restarted my device. However, I was charged four times for my order.
The app let us add items to our order but every time on submit, we would get an hour Glass and wait about one minute (which is a long time when it comes to an app), and then it would give an error. So I redid our order, and tried again. Waited another minute plus, and finally got the error that the restaurant wasn't accepting app orders at this time. Really?? Why couldn't it tell us before?
It has never worked. The Cheyebbe location has been open for a month and still not able to order through the app. On top of that, the Cheyenne location does not allow to-go orders over the phone so the only option is to dine in or wait in line to order, then wait. Not an option when trying to get lunch for the office. I've used the contact section in the app but I've never received a response.
It always crashes when I order. It shows me limited time items at my location just to tell.me that it's not offer on my location when I go to add it to my cart. I've over one hundred dollars in points just because this stupid app doesn't recognize my orders going through when it crashes, even though I get charged and it's always available for pick up. What gives?
Absolute worst app ever. The only location close to me is in Arlington and before today I couldn't even order food from the app and today anytime I try to order it overcharges by about $7-$8 on the total.. I've tried removing items and starting over multiple times. Normally it wouldn't be a huge problem; I could just pay in the store but I have 2 rewards on my account and in store they have told me when I go to use them that I have to order through the app to do so yeah I'm livid.
Two years later.... App is still horrible. Mobile ordering always returns an error. Still all the same problems as before. If you guys are going to put so little effort into building an app and aren't going to listen to feedback, why are you bothering?
HORRIBLE! This is the 2nd time I try to use the app for mobile ordering. Same issue. I place my order and ready to checkout and the error occurred message pops up. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and I'm having the same issue. Fix your app!!!
Have never been able to order anything through this app. Every time you go to place your order it just says error occurred. Totally worthless! Has never been updated since it was released over a year ago.
App worked great for me. I think some people had problems because many franchisees don't bother to train employees about the app due to overall low usage among Dog Haus customers. When I arrived to pick up my order, the sole employee at the front counter was shocked to learn from me that Dog Haus has a mobile app. Fortunately the bartender showed up with my order ready to go.
awful! horrible crashing app..the worst part is I wanted to redeem my free birthday dog, and the app kept trying to charge me.i messaged customer service for help and no response. the next day I emailed them again, and they yet to respond to me. awful customer service & awful app. this is the 2nd time I have trouble redeeming their "free" promotions.
Never allows orders to go through, i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Always says an error has occurred while trying to place an order.
Its a good app but I should be able to add points via reciept/past order. Please add this feature as i have to use a 3rd party app just to order in general, and then don't get the points :(
App keeps crashing and took multiple attempts to get my order through. Even then, the cashier said he did not get my order. I screenshotted the confirmation of order to be on the safe side. Please fix the app.
First time in several visits somebody at my location knew how to use the app. Scanner still couldn't read my phone. Couldn't use my birthday dog or loyalty reward. App and loyalty program seem pretty pointless.
the app charged my card about 13 times taking about $190 from me, would reccomend to just use doordash to order, this app is glitchy, unpolished, and customer support doesn't know what they're doing, I wouldn't trust it
Please don't have an option to pay in store if the people working there can't actually do it, not saying they wouldn't, but I'm pretty sure they can't take payments for online orders, wasted my time waiting for an order that was never made in the first place
App placed a bunch of orders every time I added or removed something from my cart. $100+ in charges to my credit card that the store refuses to refund me. Don't use the app
Scanner can't read my QR code because the image loaded by the app is too blurry. I'm on a Pixel 3 XL. Looking on my friends phone the QR code is sharp and clear.
I've created tickets with the developers and have waited for over a year but still they can't seem to get the app to work for my nearby Dog Haus location. So frustrating.
Great dogs, even people who don't normally eat hot dogs enjoy these. Sausages are great also, haven't tried burgers or chicken yet but sure they're the same great quality as dogs are.
I went to the restaurant for the free hot dog promotion through the app. the app would not open up to scan. after I already paid for a beer and tipped they wouldn't honor the free dog because of the broken app.
this app is awful. won't let me review my order, then won't connect to the restaurant's server for ordering so I couldn't actually use the app.
Only needed it while in isolation, easier to just walk the block to order during happy hour for the discounts.
App is not stable, when ordering it always errors out so can't even order from the app, just pointless :-( Prepare for the Wurst app indeed!
Not able to get to the payment screen/crashes. Not able to take advantage of the current promotion for the Free Haus Dog.
"An error occurred" whenever you try to place an order. The app is useless if you can't order anything with it..
It was working fine until recently. It crashes every time I try to view my rewards.
The order goes through but no confirmation. Problem is not yet fixed. Found out my order was ready when restaurant called to ask if I'm picking up.
Like many of the other reviews, I also had trouble while placing the order. Turns out, if you try to review the order outside of store hours, the app will infinitely spin without any indication of what is wrong. Couple that with long network calls, it makes the app seem broken. You have a nice app with a good UI but you really need to address your backend issues and proper error handling.
