Installed quickly, easily. Opens to split screen, showing human / dog views. From my previous research, this seems to be an accurate rendering of day time dog vision. They have very close to human red/ green color blindness, but better at night and motion detection. If your interested in what dogs see, this is a simple (does one thing only) but informative app.
Accurate! This app does a good job replicating actual canine color vision. Other apps I've tried function as more of a simple grey filter. This one really brightens the colors dogs see while dulling others appropriately. Canine & human vision display side by side, which helps find objects. Helpful, as things look very different. Images are a bit pixelated - both canine & normal. Know what? It doesn't matter. Dogs see at lower res anyway. App *IS FULL SCREEN* on Samsung A20. 🐶 I recommend.
Terrible you cant even take pictures or like put pictures on it from your gallery I mean it works but it's just a video. And you cant even flip the camera around wich makes its really hard to see what your dog sees you like all you can do is pause it but that is really hard to do to get a picture of you so that why it is a 1 star
The image seems pretty accurate, but because this app was built a decade ago and never really been updated since, it only shows a small (approximately 1" x 1") square of image. This app really needs an update in order to be used in modern phones.
Works but frustrating to use as it only displays a tiny square image on a Galaxy Note 10. There is a warning on install that as the app has not been updated for recent versions of Android that it will not display images properly.
Ignore the reviews saying that it's 'just a green filter' or that it's very pixelated. Dog vision is significantly worse than human vision so it is supposed to be blurry, and dogs are also red-green colorblind so the image has red and green removed. It only shows shades of yellow and blue which *can* appear like it's greenish to us because our brain will interpret combinations of yellow and blue as green. This works exactly the way it's supposed to.
It could be fab...but only if the app is maintained...a tiny square on the screen doesn't really help so would be so much better if it worked across all phones
The resolution makes it look like im playing on an SNES, but other than that its pretty accurate in terms of the color differences!
Worked, but camera was really low res and pixelated, and washed out. Technically works, but you can barely see anything.
Good app. Its great to see what my dog sees, so i know which coloured toys i should get for him. Blue seems to be very interesting, as dogs have a similar red green colourblindness as humans with colourblindness. Simple but interesting.
Same issue that other people are reporting, you can only see one small square in the corner. I used to use this app all the time, so hopefully they fix it.
Instantly crashed, had to reset my phone. Yeah, im sticking to the built in color adjustment settings.
This most helpful in showing my students the why and dog sight. Just be sure you turn it off when not in use.
Tiny little camera and very low resolution. Major updates are needed for this app to become remotely good.
Doesn't work on a Galaxy Note20. It just shows a small block in the top left corner.
No updates since 2012 (8 years as of this rating) and it presents itself in extremely low resolution.
This app is horrible,it is literally just a green tiny on everything, scientist know what dog vision looks like,it wouldn't be that hard to make and app like this, but to be scientifically accurate.
It works surprisingly the camera is low resolution but it seems alright.
Needs updated because the screen is so tiny it's hard to see anything
The ui doesn't work. Makes a small half inch by half inch window.
app opens up by itself sometimes... which is a little creepy.
Terrible it's pretty cool but there is only a teeny tiny square I the corners so no thank u000
Well it is an app and it does exactly what it says but really it's good once and then you will never use it again
This app is really bad. Buggy, and hard to use.
Wow, I'm impressed on how awful it looks and how it doesn't even fit my screen! Updated the app guys!
Only showed tiny part of the screen
App not updated to work with android 11
It says it is made for an outdated version of andriod. I assume this is why the screen it just a tiny box in the corner. The actual color side of the filter seems to actually be accurate for once. Dogs have blue and yellow in their visual spectrum, and this app does that. Most other apps will either do black and white or just a blue filter. It's also super pixelated. I know dogs have worse vision than humans, but pixelation instead of blur isn't the way to go.
