I used this app on a group greyhound walk posting photos to facebook taken in 2 colour spectrums, human and K9, to represent all our members. App options are A. split screen vertical (human and dog vision) B. split screen horizontal (human and dog vision) C. only dog vision. Also used my phone camera alternating between view options. Useful app to better understand our k9 companions perspective. No ads. Quick and easy to use and select options. Photo icon when taking photos has room for improvement - text message appears so you know photo was successfully taken - but this is minor. Results were all greyt. Big like from group so this might be a regular or semiregular thing in taking and posting group photos.
a friend of mine bought a toy that had a little screen thing that you could look at different toys and see what they look like to the dog so I wondered if they had an app that would do the same and this is exactly what I was looking for and it works exactly the way I wanted to and you will take this out with you to buy toys for your dog and they will love all the toys that you buy and not just the ones they decide they like
As a dog behaviourist I use this to simulate on how some dog toys a dog might not find in the field or garden. Great app
very cool. easy to use, intuitive.
It'd be good if you could open images and view them through the app. Otherwise very useful
Dogs a can see more color than was put in into app. Also dogs can see as well in the dark as in the light, This app doesn't seem to work with that. Ps dogs see in more color than just black and white.
Hate to be rude here. But I'm seeing a lot of comments about how this app shows color and dogs only see in black and white / monochrome. This is not true. Dogs see in a Blue Yellow Spectrum. Look it up. If u want a black and white picture use an Instagram filter.
It is now widely known that dogs do in fact see in color. They don't see hues of red, as shown by the app. The app is completely on point and an excellent simulator! Good job! Very cool to see exactly as they do!
Where is the research? Everything I've ever read always says dogs view the world in black & white. There's a lot of color being shown here.
Helps me wear clothes that my dog can see when we are competing in obedience and agility!
I don't realy know if your telling the truth or not but you guys did a nice job.
Its not that bad
This is just color blind to red and maybe green. I hope u all know thats not how dogs really see. also way too many adds. It looks really blurry too. I uninstalled it quickly
Very intrusive ads and needs way too permissions
It is clever app. I didn't realize red and pink look gray to a dog.
Dogs see colors, only colors that are not made of two different colors, like red, black and white...
Cuz it sees everything the seem as humans split it on human and dogs they see thr same! BOO!!!!
I thought it wouldnt work but it works perfectly thanks
Great way to choose tog toy colors!
If you think dogs see like this it's not ture dogs see in color but they see little bit blurry but they can see things far away
The app has ads. I hate ads. Uninstalled immediately.
It actually worked i didn't think it would have worked
Doesn't really do the job either... While pushing ads like crazy.
The only thing is, it got old really fast.
Now you know what it looks like being a dog
It takes to long to download
"A Google User" review is spot on. App easy to install, did not see adds, no problems with the app. It has options and explanation right in the front screen, and has the button for a snapshot, which is better than the 'dog vision' app. Based on my research I'd say the rendering is very close to day time dog vision. It's all an educated guess at just how precise this could be. Dogs see better than humans at night (black/ white) and detect motion better, but vision isnt as sharp (less than 2020)
